I have always wanted to leave dead bodies on the table. It adds so much to the look of the battle. Sadly, that's a lot of dollars to spend on dead guys.
Wonderful battle report. The quality of the terrain and miniatures really help tell the story. The casualty figures are a great addition as well. I would love to see this style of game played. I also love the story telling aspect of miniature games. While I have fun at tournaments, playing a more laid back game with my buddy is what I really enjoy. I hope you do more of these. We always play that vehicles do a reverse move if they fail an orders check as per the rules. More please!!
This is an amazing idea. I think you really added a great deal of value with the story behind the objective. I'm looking at creating a campaign for my friends. As a part time Dungeon Master and player of D&D, it really seems to be a logical step. I was inspired by the summer campaign that Warlord Games ran last summer. The invasion was quite difficult for a beach landing and getting a foothold into England proved to get more difficult as the campaign progressed. But what if you committed troops to guarding your beaches, your airstrips, military bases, key cities and places in between?
I'm pretty sure you cannot consolidate into a building after an assault. I think you did this in another battle report as well. Otherwise, awesome game. Wish you would make some more videos!
Vehicles do need to retreat and I like the rule because it is very cinematic and can really disrupt the opponent as well as because the vehicle may retreat into cover and be harder for the opponent to hit. BTW, You should not have been able to consolidate into the building or have two units in it but it added so much to the narrative. It was a good choice.

kryptic83 kryptic83 thanks so much for the kind words and subscribing! This table is 6’x4’ but sometimes we like to play on bigger tables. I just glued sand to a piece of plywood and painted it for texture, then I flocked it with model railroad flock. The buildings in this vid are mostly from a company called total battle miniatures. The casualties are from Black Tree Designs! I skip filming the gameplay because I like to enjoy the game and because Im much more into the story each game tells! So glad you enjoy it! Please tell all your friends! Let me know if you are ever in TX and want to get a game in on the channel!

Brad Williams I believe that only happens to team weapons such as bazookas, snipers, and MGz. Although id love to see a photo of the actual rule for future ref!
