  • You don’t need to work out.
Leave those dishes, you can get to them later.
You don’t have to make the bed, you’ll sleep in it later anyway.
Don’t do that task now, you can get to it tomorrow.
Eat that pizza, you can focus on losing weight beginning Monday.
    Sound familiar?
That little voice that you hear inside of you is either your biggest fan or your biggest critic. For most of us, it’s a critic that tells us how unworthy we are and undeserving of the best life we could live.
    It’s holding you back.
Everything that you truly want, the beautiful life that you want is on the other side of the comfort zone that you’re stuck in.
The only thing in this life that you should fear, is fear itself. Living a life captive inside of fear and inside of your comfort zone is not a life fully lived. And that's what that little voice inside of you is...it's fear.
Whenever it pops up and tells you not to do something, you have to go at it full force. Even though it sucks, it’s blatantly showing you what you need to do to create the life that you want. The only way to get rid of it is to go through it.
You’ve got to consistently do what that little voice tells you NOT to do.
You don’t negotiate with your mind. It’s amazing for keeping you alive, but it’s terrible if you allow it to take over your life.
You can’t wait until you're comfortable until you step outside of your comfort zone.
You can’t wait until the perfect moment because there will never be one.
You can’t wait until you’re ready because you’ll never actually be ready.
    The perfect time is NOW!
You have to begin to seek discomfort in order to change your life, because if you continue doing the same things that you’ve been doing up until now, your life won’t change and you cannot expect it to. Things only begin to change when we take action.
So getting past that inner critic requires moving through it. The obstacle that’s standing in front of you is the way to your enlightenment.
You can check out new episodes of the Mindset Mentor podcast every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday on iTunes, and Spotify.

I've listened to Earl Nightingale and Tony Robbins and everyone in between.
And I don't think anyone has mentioned that " little voice " that I know we all have.
    Great stuff man

I spent a long time of my life worrying stressing having anxiety etc.... Sometimes I made it and sometimes i did not and what happened? Am I dead? Did the world end? *NO*.
Getting out of the comfort zone at first you'll ask yourself why i did it but after you get used to it,it gives a huge moral boost and you'll thank yourself.
I still have that voice and it's still killing my self confidence but i just keep ignoring it.
I've made plans and objectives for my life i need to get done and i can't hit reverse i can only go forward.
If i don't achieve anything in this life im gonna see myself as a weak incompetent good for nothing mass of meat because simply i don't settle for less and this notion motivates me.
I just wish I had this way of thinking earlier in my life but better late than never eh?

I already jumped. I don't want the parachute to open! The free fall is more fun than a slow casual ride. Like for real, just over 4.years ago, 4th of July 2016 I finally jumped and it's been fuckin wild and I'm only 4 years in. I'm right on par with where God wants me to be at this very moment. I finally hit that point where I understand completely why everything that happened in my life did. I have not a single unanswered question about my past. I have no regrets anymore at all. I have no worries at all anymore. Each day I'm better than I was yesterday, but not as good as I will be tomorrow. I spent six years miserable trying to force life to happen and I got nowhere. Once I finally just let go and went with the current of life its been amazing. Once I just gave it all to God on that fateful 4th of July and just have done nothing but follow my gut and it has led me along perfectly. I realized this year why those gut feelings I've always had have always been right even when it led me to disaster. The disasters it led me to were so fucking important that I couldn't be here without them. My gut is always right because that's God's way of guiding me through life. I am at the point where I can read my gut so well that I can pick out specific times and dates and I know things before they happen. Everything that happened to me from mid March of 2019 through now, everything, I knew it ahead of time. Things always happened like I knew they would and it was so much better than I could've ever imagined. All of it. I know my gut is telling me that this December I'm going to have a life changing event take place, don't want to get into detail, but I know what it is exactly and it's definitely a big one. I also know that within the next 2 years, I will be moved on from the job I currently have and be well into my destiny at that point. May not take 2 years, I just read within 2 years. I also know that in the next couple years I'm going to buy my 1971 grabber blue Roadrunner and that was a trip how all that came about. I also know that my fate has already begun. I went from the school of life to intensive studies on life and my mind for the last 4 years to prepare me for this. I dreaded turning 30. I hated the idea of it lol. Now, I just turned 39 and I cannot WAIT for 40. I'm in no hurry, but I can't wait! I'm at least 10 times the man I was at 30 in all ways. I went through 6 years of fuckin misery and overnight, BOOM, it all turned around. I wish I could get other people to feel like I do inside. I didn't know it was possible to ever even be this happy! I can't believe it. If I was doing ANY fuckin better I don't think I could handle it. Seriously, when I think about the past and see how it led me here and I look at the present and at the future and know where I'm going and this Euphoric feeling of happiness is so ridiculously strong I feel like I'm gonna puke and pass out. If you're down, just fuckin hang in there. Drag yourself through your day again and again because it WILL turn around one of these days but you have to believe it's possible for you. You have to expect it. I mean even though bad times seem like they'll never end, I had 6 years so by year 3 I was already fuckin crazy and then 4 years and 5 years and 6 years and looking back, those 6 years of just ridiculous bullshit was one of the best things that ever happened to me. I said before that people don't usually change their lives when they are content. I don't mean happy and everything is great, but if they are content to stay where they are no progress gets made. It took that 6 years of feeling like I'm bangin my head on the wall all day to kick off that spark that made me decide to change my life 4 years ago. Don't want the bad to change because it will when it's time, use the bad to improve yourself. Use it and learn as much as you can from it. I wouldn't change those 6 years even if I could. It was perfect. It just took some time removed to see it. Not 4 years, but by a year into the last 4 years I already was glad I went through it. If I had to do it again to get here I'd do it in a heartbeat. Don't want to lol, but that's how happy I am. You'll get there too.

😁"My comfort zone is where my dream died" I'm so greatful to you Rob for your amazing way of explaining this info. I'm applying this now by writing this message. My mind was like, do it later but I became aware of that "Voice" and just started writing this Thank You note. I discovered you just a couple weeks ago and this video was the one that made me say Wow! Yes!..because you offer a very effective way to confront that inner voice that cares so much for our safety but stop us from moving forward. I know it's not a coincidence that you crossed my path. Thank you, Thank you..and many blessings!!🥰💕

Rob, since I found your podcasts on Spotify I can say that my life truly changed, at least my vision of life. I have fears as a normal human being and the fact I listen to you every day, makes me be braver enough to have initiative, to overcome my doubts, to be certain of what I really want in my life. Sometimes we just need a little "push" of someone who had exactly the same dilemmas and now, in a humble way, is sharing knowledge to overcome them. Thanks and keep going with your mission of helping people.

I read a quote says " The moment you feel you're scared the most, that's when you exactly have to jump. Or else you get stucked where you at" -- exactly what happened to me, wasted too much time "negotiating" with my mind. Indeed comfort zone is where your dreams go to die. I just feel blessed to listen to your podcast..giving me hope that it's never too late for me. All I need is to start now and change my habits, thoughts and feelings to create the future I truly wanted to have. "Thank you so much. This is life changer.

I love the way you described the fear mentality. Really made me understand that we should not be scared of that little voice. Thanks, really good to hear this message today.
Only thing I could potentially disagree with is the working out part. I'm into fitness and sometimes your body is telling you you need to rest because it wants to repair. I've realised that when you're into fitness you need to know the difference between when you're being lazy and when your body genuinely needs to rest and recharge. You should always try and understand the difference and the more adept you get with exercise the more you start to understand the difference. 🙂

Wow, it's a wonderful video to eliminate fear for any thing pops up in mind as fear and go through immediately, not tomorrow.

Thanks so much Rob for this amazing content. Most eye opening was...if I change my daily habits, this will change my brain, which will then change my thoughts & feelings causing me to take action for the results I desire! I discovered you yesterday, and I can't stop listening to you. I'm a serial procrastinator, so you can imagine how timely this was! Thanks again!
