One test worth doing on these speakers is testing what the remote party hears when you unmute the microphone while someone else in the meeting is actively speaking.
I have a friend who has an older Jabra full-duplex speaker and when he unmutes his speaker, no one in the meeting hears anything if someone is already speaking when he unmutes. I have the Jabra Speak 750, and if I unmute mine while someone else in a meeting is speaking, everyone hears a brief second or two of echo coming from me of whoever is already speaking before the echo cancellation kicks in and blocks the echo out. It's quite disruptive to meeting participants, and since my friend's Jabra doesn't exhibit this behavior, it's something that must differ from model to model or manufacturer to manufacturer, and since it's disruptive and obnoxious, it would be worthwhile for potential buyers to know what will happen in the real world when they unmute in a meeting with active speaking coming from another participant.
I've been hoping a firmware update would fix this problem, and it may have, but I haven't tested it recently and I've changed my behavior to only unmute when nobody is talking, or waiting a second when it's my turn to speak after unmuting before I start talking. So that bug _MIGHT BE_ fixed already, but since it existed in the first place, I think it's something that's worth testing for any full-duplex speaker - especially if it's a higher end, more expensive one like this (my Jabra Speak 750 was over $200 when I first bought it).

I have the Jabra 710 and I'm very (!) unsatisfied with the quality of the microphone. I have tried all sorts of solutions, even with a dedicated external microphone, but the echo cancellation then just wasn't good enough. And having a microphone 10 cm in front of my mouth is NOT an option in regular conference calls. Also NOT to wear something in my ear all day long.
So...... what do the experts say - is it worth upgrading to the Jabra Speak2 75? I had tried the Jabra Speak2 40 before, but no, the microphone quality wasn't good either.

at 5:16, I see the green LED ring seems to be brighter at the bottom right. will you be able to do a demo to test the beam forming capabilities and feature for the Speak2 75?

Can you show how to pair two Jabra Speak2s together?

These are not made to be paired like traditional desktop speakers. They are speakerphones, where you'd have a single unit connected to your PC, laptop, whatever.

Hmm. Still unsure if it will perform any better than my Plantronics 7200
