JSU Black History Moments: Rose E. McCoy Auditorium

The Rose Embly McCoy Auditorium was originally dedicated as College Park Auditorium in 1952, and it served as a Civic Center for Jackson's Negro community. Ownership was transferred to Jackson State University in 1978, and the building was renamed University Park Auditorium. Renovated in 1993, the building now houses Speech and Theatre.
