Although the series is over, I imagine that Ted and Alexis cross paths later in life and end up together, having grown to be stronger and better from being apart.
When I first saw that "take a thousand naked pictures of yourself" scene, I thought of it only as a funny line spoken by a self obsessed character. But now I realize that's very sage advice. Every day we crib about our problems (including our bodies) only to look back at them several years later, wondering how we failed to appreciate just how good we had it. Moira Rose is more intelligent than anyone gives her credit for.
Its like cherish this moment now. Live freely and enjoy the day. Once you're old those memories linger and will make you smile at some point. Make stupid things today and laugh later.
When I was a teenager, I refused to have my picture taken and deleted most photos with me in them. Now I wish I hadn't. Not only for me (although maybe mostly for me) but also for people who love me to look back on and remember. I think as humans we desire to be seen, known, loved, valued, understood, and remembered.
"David, you have the opportunity to climb out of the quicksand that was your past, and stand firmly in the present" .... a small gem of Schitt's wisdom
I agree! And I think Alexis’ advice is usually very sage-considering she’s supposed to be an shallow, materialistic, airhead. Annie Murphy gives her so much depth!
Agreed. I think Patrick balances him out and together, they would make great parents. I hope Dan and Eugene decide to do a Schitt's Creek movie in a few years with one of the story lines being David and Patrick taking on parenthood.
“When it comes to matters of the heart, you can’t tell your kids who to love. Who said that?” Profound wisdom and hilarious at the same time. Thank you Schitt’s Creek.
One of the most randomly great shows ever. It’s the type of show that will be popular and had its following, but won’t be truly appreciated until it’s over.
I love how most of these are inspirational, but then we have things like "panic attacks aren't real" and "you're kinda bitchy" to break up all the touching moments jdklfsd
So sad I didn’t hear that pep talk 10-20 years ago. I was so critical of my MINOR imperfections. Now those minor ones have become rather large ones. 😂😂😂
Schitts Creek is hands down my favorite show EVER!!! Even turned my husband on to it and he actually asked “is it weird that this has sky rocketed into my top 3 shows? Only to be beat by Game of Thrones and one subway series game from the early 90’s when the Mets destroyed the Yankees.” Yes, we are avid Rose lovers!!!!
I'm Canadian and have been watching Schitt's Creek on the CBC since season 1. I subscribed to your channel a while ago and I think your video of "A little bit Alexis" is hilarious. This video is amazing, capturing all the beautiful life lessons SC successfully delivers. Kudos to you and thank you for sharing this little gem with the world!
Such deep human sentiment tucked into a brilliant comedy.....this is nothing short of Genius!!! The Levy's are the Einstein's of Human Comedy Television!!!! Thank you Jessica for putting this all together to be able to actually see whole of their Masterpiece!!!....mmmmwah
Absolutely incredible compilation! This show is a beautiful portrait of life and relationships disguised as a comedy. You've brilliantly put in those best moments that shine the brightest!
So many wonderful moments in this show. Some real life lessons for the characters and the viewers. This show demands re-watching. The relationship between the Rose Family and the towns people is touching and you can see their characters evolve.
beautiful !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! thanks for putting this together ...so much appreciated. so many quotes so many meaningful clips . such a great so that will live on forever
Just when you think the Rose’s are beyond disturbed/help, they drop a metaphorical morsel that changes your entire way of thinking. Brilliant job, Dan. 👏👏👏
I love all this show and all these lessons we've learned from them! You rock for putting this together!! (And this is the first time I have EVER commented on a you tube video ;)
Wow. Love it. I can't believe how much I fell in love with this show! Thank you for putting this video together. I am just sitting here balling through all of it! Such good messages, and beautifully edited together!
Left out my favorite from the cabaret episode with Stevie and Moira!!!! Moira says to Stevie, “What the hell is your secret Stevie? You just stand your solid ground, refusing to be anything but you.”
if there would be some kind of one-off episode, I'd like to see alexis and ted back together and all the family members go back to schitt's creek to visit david and patrick🙂
GOD . DAN LEVY REALLY MADE A SHOW ALL ABOUT LOVE IN ITS MANY FORMS HUH
Yip
I love him for it
Although the series is over, I imagine that Ted and Alexis cross paths later in life and end up together, having grown to be stronger and better from being apart.
Yes! I imagine Ted going to an academic conference in NYC and giving Alexis a call...
oh definitely, if they ever make a schitts creek movie I DEMAND a ted alexis wedding XD
SAME!!!!🙌🏻🙌🏻
@@tsgumi HELL YESS!!!!😁🙌🏻🙌🏻
I’m living by that - and hope we see it 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼
I like the wine and not the label, is brilliant
Ja Ha the whole explanation is brilliant!
Ok, I get everything apart from the rosé! Is it referring to bisexuality?
mericips think it’s referring to non binary or gender fluid people
@@camilaslauren thank you 😊
It's pansexuality metaphor all in all I guess. :)

@@benitayoung8456welp- boo at your likes lame
when therapy is too expensive, schitts creek is just fine
Omg yes!
I do believe you forgot one of my faves...”Gossip is the devil’s telephone. Best to just hang up.”
“When it comes to matters of the heart, we can’t tell our kids who to love” this line made me appreciate Roland so much more.
"David, you have the opportunity to climb out of the quicksand that was your past, and stand firmly in the present" .... a small gem of Schitt's wisdom
"Oh Jocelyn, You'll soon learn, we aging mortals are blessed with weakening eyes and memories, so that we really don't have to see ourselves".
Utter perfection!
I don’t care what anyone says David is wise and gives great pep talks.
Agreed! I absolutely adore his character!! Such an amazing show! ❤️
I agree! And I think Alexis’ advice is usually very sage-considering she’s supposed to be an shallow, materialistic, airhead. Annie Murphy gives her so much depth!
I'm seriously in love with him!!! #notastalker lol
Agreed. I think Patrick balances him out and together, they would make great parents. I hope Dan and Eugene decide to do a Schitt's Creek movie in a few years with one of the story lines being David and Patrick taking on parenthood.
@@brianarendon111 Alexis IS materialistic but definitely not shallow, nor is she an airhead.
Beautifully inspiring. There’s more wisdom in this show than most people realize. Thank you for making this happen for us.
“When it comes to matters of the heart, you can’t tell your kids who to love. Who said that?” Profound wisdom and hilarious at the same time. Thank you Schitt’s Creek.

Yeah I was thinking in a David voice “why are those here again?”
I love that "Well first of all you're a little bitchy" was included as a motivational quote.
why is it that the soft "romcom" music behind all these quote makes this really moving and really (much more) amazing. Nice Edit :)
This show is SO important!
This show is a miracle. Wise, funny and unforgettable
One foot on the ground, one foot on the pedal, now get the hell out of here!
Alexis has grown so much! 😭
I've peppered conversations with a David-inspired "...I don't know what that means..." it shuts down an argument ... fast. 😝
I'm so gonna do this 😄
@monokhem I had no idea 😝😝😝😝😝😝😝 I'm gonna have to check out Arrested Development...I'm such a dork. I don't get out much 🤣🤣🤣
@monokhem OMG that's so what I need right now. Thanks 👍
It’s all about love and its different sides and forms. Heartbreak and taking another chance and loving it all over again.
Excuse ma'am you're SO pretty...
Okay now I realized that this might've came off as weird but i just wanted to point it out heheheh😆💜
This is Schitt food for the soul and I'm obsessed, thank you Jessica, u r amazing
"Take a thousand naked pictures of yourself now!" -Moira Rose
So sad I didn’t hear that pep talk 10-20 years ago. I was so critical of my MINOR imperfections. Now those minor ones have become rather large ones. 😂😂😂
But only with good lighting🤔
It is so funny, like when Moira speaks with her weird accent LOL
To think, I almost quit on this show after the first couple of episodes...
Same. So glad I stuck it out because it’s one of my favorites ever now. The character growth and arcs were amazing.
@@bknsty14 sameeee🙏🏾🙏🏾 I didn't think it was special at first, skip ahead 2yrs schitt's creek has changed my life
