It’s just.... The fact that Patrick is not immune to being annoyed by David’s flaws but still loves him so much not despite them but because of them... This couple means so much to me

this is one of the healthiest relationships in tv history
I love the way David squirms so much when Patrick starts singing to him and then slowly gives in to it. Being truly adored is so foreign to him, but he is loving it.
Patrick makes me feel so safe. The way that he holds David for a hug - so gentle and masculine and affirming and kind and dependable. While David squirms and is often uncomfortable, Patrick's presence feels so calming to watch on the screen.
They forgot to put the scene where David unconsciously calls Patrick his boyfriend

This will inevitably go down in TV history as one of the greatest love stories ever told.

When David confesses that he was enjoying all the gifts that Patrick was giving him too much to immediately reconcile. That scene... the way Dan can’t stop himself from smirking through that scene. I just love him so much.
The way Patrick's eyes twinkle when they first meet. He was so charmed by David <3
Don't mind if I sit down and immediately watch these 20 minutes. Even though I've seen this story play out about 15 times already.
It doesn't matter how many times I watch Patrick and David. They always make me smile and cry.

When Moira screamed David, do you take Patrick, it was the perfect comedic relief in a heartfelt moment. I love this show so much.
Okay, don’t get me wrong, Patrick singing to David was so sweet and one of my favorite scenes, but I actually think David lip synching to Patrick was even sweeter, because David would usually never do things like that, but he did it and it proves how much he loves Patrick.

No man can meet the romantic standard anymore. Patrick topped it and ruined it so noone can ever outdo him. Such a great character. Fall in love with him every time he smiles.
