During Glee her voice was too young, almost like a teenager voice, especially on the first season when she sings "Don't rain on my parade" for the first time. Here she sounds much more mature and her voice fits the role perfectly.

But if you paid attention her vocal was not good in Season 5... all the bad things happened and her voice no longer that pure and clear.. glad she gets her vocal better now and more experienced.

I absolutely love everything about her performance. She truly blew it out of the water. This number specifically too. You can tell based on her facial expressions she is absolutely loving every moment of this show and I love that for her❤
One of my most favorite Babas song. The intricacy in phrasing and belts where its almost impossible to breathe really separates this song from the rest. She did great.

I love Lea and Julie is great too. I think they need to choose a different song for when they do guest appearances though. DROMP and People are expected because they are so familiar. Cornet Man or Music That Makes Me Dance would be good for just Lea but a different one for the entire cast.

From what I’ve read and heard her laser focus on her career probably did make her insensitive to others and thus hard to work with…that was what ? Ten years ago and she has addressed this, apologized, and has really seemed to grow as both a person and an actress…saw her tuesday and she was amazing. People make mistakes in life especially early in their careers…can we judge u by your behavior when you were 20?
I don't always like Lea's performances; she can really be hit or miss in my oppinion. But clearly she was to born to play this role. And she deserves all the praise and acclaim she is getting. If I'm honest, I prefer her performance, to that of Barbra Streisands, in the movie. I think she allows herself to be more vulnerable, than Barbara did and because of that, her performance, is more layward and more authentic, in my oppinion.
I thought it was rushed and pushed. I like her but this does not compare to other versions. The great Mimi Hines, who took Barbra place when she took the show to London, ( Ms Hines kept the show going for 18 months) knew how to sell this song with emotion and grace.
