Just gorgeous. I love everything you did. The black door made a big difference and I love the new screen door as well. The night shots are fabulous. What a great place to watch a movie.
Hello Annie, I love your new porch, it's absolutely beautiful, you can indeed be proud of the work you have done, this place makes you want to spend long hours of relaxation and your kitty has understood it obviously. Well done to you and thank you for sharing your porch makeover video Kisses from France.
Hi Annie, the patio is a great outdoor area you have. You were very detailed and it payed off. Great idea with the casters. It’s truly a “Home and Garden” area. Happy summer.
Girl, I am sooo jealous of your screened in porch! It turned out sooo beautiful. Love the new screen door! You did an amazing job! Can't wait for the new video!
Thanks so much, I was wondering whether to tape my screened porch when I paint this spring. And you helped and answer my question. Much appreciated for the specific video about the project. You made it look easy!!!
Hi, I love the porch. You did a beautiful job. Looks really pretty. The pillows are cute. The cats little thing is cute for the cat. I hope you guys enjoy for many years!! Xo 😘
It could easily have been made comfortable and attractive if all you'd done was clean the wood. But the work you did filling, sanding, and painting it just elevates the look by full orders of magnitude. The new screen door looks great, and I love the kitty hammock!
You did a great job slot of prep work. Have you thought about breaking up the sectional to have more space on the porch so it will be more of a walk through open space. Just a suggestion . It’s always good to have more ope space. Thanks for the hard work .
Hello, beautiful screened porch. I’m a new subscriber 🤟🏾 my screen porch should be completed in a few weeks 🙏🏾 praying the weather holds off. Whether did you use to hang your decor up on the siding on your porch?
Hi Annie! I absolutely love this and want to redo my parent's patio and make it into an indoor patio. I was just wondering what it is like when it rains, such as maintenance any issues you may have seen that come up due to the rain. I would love to get some insight on this since I may consider windows but it get's pricey
So we do not have any glass or covers for the screens - its just the open screens. So far we have had no issues with rain or flooding. The previous owners added this porch on and I can see there is a slight slope to the concrete floor to make sure any water will run off. If there is a really heavy windy rain, sometimes it will get a little damp around the perimeters of the screens, but nothing major!
Very nice work. You put in a lot of time but the result is well worth it. I have two 3 year old cats also who love sitting out in our small screened in porch. They successfully pushed out the screens to gain access to the outdoors. They are not outdoor cats! Now I’m trying to figure out how to cat proof my sunporch so they can enjoy being out there and I don’t have to stay out there with them. Any thoughts or ideas would be very much appreciated. Thank you.
@@lizzieb.4160 are your screens like removable frames? If they’re popping out the frames vs tearing the screens, I’d say figure out a way to secure them better so the kitties can’t push them out? If they’re ripping through the screens then there may not really be a way to stop them lol. My screens are sandwiched between the porch framing and I haven’t had any escapes except a long time ago when there was a small hole I didn’t notice.
Thank you! It's quite large - not entirely sure what the dims are, but I'd guess maybe about 30' x 12'. We bought the house with it already there, but I know the previous owners installed it after building the house. We absolutely love it and so do our cats!
Oh dang that cat hammock is the besttttt. Question: what happens to the human hammock? And is your new porch door new, or did you add trim to the existing one? Because it looks great and I need to do something with ours to make it look better. 🥰🥰🥰 Such an awesome completed space!
If she feels her table is too high when seated. All she has to do, in my opinion, is put similar wheels on the couch as well. This will allow her the freedom to move it around and it'll be the perfect height to go with the table. She can get the type of wheels that lock to keep it stationary and so the couch partitions don't divide or come separated. 🌼
I’ve been scoping out this sectional (it’s out of stock currently) for a while but in the beige color. The one I’ve been keeping an eye on is from Walmart (Better Homes & Garden line) where you get the sectional, cushions, two ottomans and the dinning table for under $900. It’s a pretty good deal. That said, I don’t really need a dinning table and I wish it was a standard coffee table. I guess I could always cut the legs down for coffee table height or use it in a different area. I’ve seen a few UA-cam influencers who have it and it looks so nice just like on this video. I would love a Pottery Barn one but I ain’t spending that kind of money. I would be perfectly happy with this sectional.
@@jad8123 You're in the same boat I was - I would love a PB one, but I can't justify those prices hahah. My tour of the porch will be up in a few days and I go more into detail about the sectional. Its pretty much a 'you get what you pay for' scenario - not the most comfortable or high quality, but it does the job. I actually use the table way more than I expected and dont mind it being taller, since we've been eating dinner outside on it.
It's meant to be like a dining table / coffee table combo. Its definitely more of an eating table though, and that's how we've been using it - like a table / desk sort of situation. We eat dinner out there and I'll work on my laptop out there as well.
Those wicker coaches are SOOOOO UNCOMFORTABLE after sitting in them for 20 minutes+ its unbearable (back killers, can never get comfortable as u have to rely on the awful pillow cushions sitting on).................my buddys house had thee same exact one.......he since agreed...went in the trash...bought nice separate outdoor recliners.....besides that awesome make over.......not to self...if u roller brush FIRST YOUR actual screens white, its looks awesome helps with privacy....and looks killer.
I love that black kitty
