  • My Stoeger XM1 was wildly inaccurate, mainly due to very inconsistent power. In this video I change the transfer port to get it under control.
These transfer ports fit the Stoeger XM1: www.trrobb.com/details/p14494...
CJ Outdoors has done a three part video, changing the transfer port: / @cjoutdoors8264

It didn't exactly tame the power, but it is more consistent. Further testing required to see about accuracy.

I had the same problem with this model, so i drilled the original transfer port out to 2mm and i'm getting a maximum of 11.3f/lbs from a poor 9ft/lbs

The man cave with the UK castrated air guns "all the way up" to 12 foot pounds! 😂

What is the solution to air leaking from the gun?

Mad Dog, can I ask where you purchased that bipod for the XM1?

Looks like you need to back off the hammer spring. Seems like it's using more air than it needs to be using, and the reduction in transfer port just created a resistance to transfer which stretched the amount of air being used. Increase in velocities might be from the finish/polish or mating of the replacement transfer port. If you back off the hammer spring now, you should be able to maintain the same speed and increase your shot count.
