hey PC Bro do you think is it worth spending 100$ more to get 8700G or 8600G is enough ( I Mainly play Valorant, LOL and R6S) and sometimes light editing videos.
You might wanna look on some benchmarks depending on what you play 8700g is really better, in benchmarks usually swipes de 8600g but it depends tho Valorant and Lol you will be getting good performance with the 8600g as the games are not that heavy on graphic( not sure R6s) I'm talking about more than 150 fps with the 8600g in those games so you good, if you play something harsher (let's say cyberpunk to go overkill😂) the 8700g does at least 15 to 20 fps better meaning 60 sometimes where the 8600g stays at 40- 46,
Honestly for me not all considering u only play that games 😂 like bruh even vega can handle that like a mf 😂 but anyways the new apus are alot upgraded than last apus Also one thing i know for sure, is 8600g is enough and more than enough for u not gonna lie 😂 its kinda overkill tbh but i will considered ur last statement since u mention u do editing, so basically thats where 8/16 cores alot than a 6/12 so ask urself first i mean do u really do alot of editing and its ur job? If yes then go 8700g but if not and ur still practicing with it still do alot of gaming then stay with 8600g because i dont see alot of performance boost tbh its like a scam 😂 but one thing for sure i will take consider is upgrade from 8500g to 8600g is a good and wise choice of all
@@ajjames1960 thanks for a long paragraph here mate 😂😂. Yes I do, do a lot of video editing for my company and right now my company is getting to work with AI from video editing and others tasks that AI involved. I watch some benchmarks and these APU did really well with AI stuff so I just grab these CPU. (8700G in general) Funny stuff is that you said 8500g and 8600g is better option. But my PC shop near my house has a really great price for these CPU ( the price till today still the same) . The 8700g is equal price with 8600g, 8600g is equal price to 8500g and 8500g is equal price to 5700g :)). I maybe just hit a jackpot

Of course this cpu is only 65 watts, other components like ram ssd etc is 100 to 150 watts, gpu is different story but probably around 250 or more but it depends so probably 500 total so 650 watts can definitely handle 8600g considering u dont need gpu from this plus keep in mind last generatiom cpus are also around 65 to 100w so 8600g being a 65watts is amazing its like u have the same power consumption like the last gen but more performance Dont worry ur 650 watts is fine as f i even have 550watts and its fine lol
@@ajjames1960 Thanks brother. I haven't built a pc before but have done my research and watch a lot of videos. I am planning on building a pc with 8600g just to get on am5 platform.
I have a problem with my setup with screen freezes/crashes, this only happens when I'm not playing, if I play for hours the freeze/crash doesn't occur, but when I exit the game+
After a few minutes (unpredictable), the computer freezes/crashes, making it necessary to restart the computer. When the restart is complete, if you go to the device manager, The video driver is disabled, and it needs to be activated, deactivated and activated again to get it working again. When activated for the first time, an error related to the monitor appears. My processor is the 8600g, with the gigabyte b650m gaming wifi motherboard, I have already updated to the latest bios version and also reinstalled the drivers from 0. Does anyone have any idea what it could be?
Sorry but i didnt like the setup. RGB lights on the RAM to make it more expensive without any need. This PC barely performs at 1080p but yet you decided to spend more money on a motherboard that has DDR5 slots? Just buy a cheaper CPU, save the money from RAM to DDR4 without RGB. Change the motherboard to a cheaper one and get a 300~ Euro/Dollar GPU. For summer sales on europe, there was the rx 6750xt for 300€. You can even play at 2k with high resolution.
You know AM5 platform is only on DDR5, right ? So saying get a DDR4 is pretty laughable. Also most people forget to setup their BIOS. I've seen too many people with APU locked on the base clock CPU and base clock GPU with base 512MB of VRAM max. So sure your performance will be horrible.
Like they said at the beginning of the video this gets you on a modern platform that can be upgraded for years to come. AM5 requires DDR5 so no, you can't just get a cheaper DDR4 motherboard unless you go AM4 or Intel and then you loose any futureproofing of the platform. AM5 will be around for several years to come while AM4 and LGA 1700 are both dead with no new CPU generations coming out for them. DDR4 is already showing its weaknesses compared to DDR5 in many modern memory bandwidth heavy games as seen in the recent HWUB video comparing 5800X3D to modern DDR5 platforms. We're already seeing a HUGE difference there! Again, they said from the start this was to get you on a modern platform with longevity and upgrade path. Obviously just for gaming right now, bang for buck yes, you can do better on an older/dead end platform like AM4. Cheaper motherboard, CPU and RAM will leave you with enough for at least an RX 6600 and that will perform way better than this... for now. But someone buying this might want to add a GPU later and then heck maybe upgrade to 9000X3D when they come out or even Zen6 even later on down the road. Again, you're paying more for the AM5 platforms longevity instead of cheaping out now and having a dead platform. It's fine to go either way as long as you understand the pros and cons of doing it.
This is the only video I found about how to manage cables in pc Build because this part is scaring me thank you
Best installation video ever.
RGB lights in the RAM is not necessary just save some money and buy 2*8GB DDR5 RAM with no RGB. That will be enough
