Kerry King played 11 of the 13 songs on this album live a few nights ago in my home city Chicago. Some SLAYER covers thrown in

Its the Kerry King band, not the Kerry King/Mark Osegueda band. So they will do Slayer covers. To say they might do DA covers is just silly. King is writing all the music, so it only sounds like DA due to the vocals of course.
It has to be the COOLEST band ever created. Just the song titles are fantastic. Trophies of the Tyrant is a great song title. Kerry King doesn't mess around with his sound. This is going to be a great album.
i have not listened to the new kerry king album but what ive been really wanting from slayer even before they quazi retired, is re-issue expanded edition of the whole slayer catalogue. my fav slayer album being divine intervention and diabolus in musica, i would love to see re-issue expanded editions with unreleased live set from those mid,late 90s tours in particular cuz in the last few years ive been buying grey market live releases of live material from the divine intervention tour and the diabolous in musica tour. digipak expanded re-issues and slayer,kerry king can go off into the sunset for all i care...
Mark kinda reminds me of a more tuneful Tom , I’m glad you picked up on the old school slayer vibes as well , I could definitely hear Kerry’s Mercyful fate and priest influences more in the riffing than I ever did during slayers latter day . My only gripe is reign in blood is 27 minutes long this has an extra 20 minutes. SoH and SiA where longer but there what’s very little fat to trim

They were completely dull live in the final years I saw them, it's no wonder they stopped, it was clear they weren't into it.
Tom was dull.
Eh, it was a boring album. Seemed like all the discards from the last slayer album.
I wish my I wish Kerry King and Fear Factory would call it a day. They running their legacy into the ground. Can't stand not hearing Tom Araya behind the riffs.
