Thanks for the clever method on how to get that rear bracket moved!! I tried 3 times trying to loosen the nut holding the manifold and ended up failing. Even tried reaching it from underneath and could get a box end that would fit and catch the nut. You have the ONLY video with a solution. So now I can install the other 3 spark plugs this weekend !! 😁 Thanks! M. Medina
Thanks ! I dont know why they designed it this way. Access to the other 3 spark plugs tested my patience also. I stopped doing it and waited for a few days till I regain that drive again. Hopefully other Durango owners will appreciate it too.
Don't assume that yeh if I take it to a professional mechanic, he will put back these difficult screws correctly or at all. It's actually a reason to do it yourself.
Denso are the worst plug to put in. When you need to replace them in 30,000 miles when they are junk, do yourself a favor spend a few more dollars and go with ngk
why didn't you use champion which what was factory? rule of thumb is use what came with the car ac delco for gm motorcraft for ford and ngk/ denso for japanese and bosch for europeon you'll save yourself the hassel of doing thr job over again
Because you buy the parts BEFORE you open up the area to do the job. You don't find out what is factory until after you have taken the old spark plugs out!

Oops.. meant "could not get a box end wrench that would fit and catch the nut.."

Performed this job yesterday, not fun.... thanks for your video! I changed out my AC compressor too, nice to have cool air again!
How long did it take you.
Thank you, pry bar and screw driver. Saved me a massive headache.
What size tool did you use to replace spark plugs

rarely comment, but wanted say thank you , spent a hour tryig, watch this had it done in 15 seconds
The video would be a lot better if you showed how to take the manifold off that is part of changing the spark plugs gotta change it to get to them
Buy a air ratchet wrench. Those tight spots become very easy.
