- Hot Wheels Stunt Track Driver is a racing PC game that was developed by Semi Logic Entertainments and published by Mattel Media on October 15, 1998.
In this game, the player can race on 6 tracks (plus a bonus track that will be mentioned later) that were built around a house using Hot Wheel cars that are based off of real model Hot Wheels cars. The game begins with only 4 of the 6 tracks being available and 3 cars to race with. The player can unlock the rest of the tracks and cars by completing challenges in the game. The player can perform various stunts while racing on the tracks. When performed, the stunts will earn speed boosts and points which are totaled at the end of each track. These stunts are: Left/Right Barrel Roll (ctrl/alt key), Turn Sideways (Left/Right arrow keys), and Front/Backflip (Up/Down arrow keys). A combination of these stunts can be performed to earn extra speed boosts and points.
There are three modes to play in this game: Tournament, Custom, and Time Trial (Free Race) mode. In Tournament mode the player will race through all 6 tracks in a given order and must complete them in a given time limit. If the player does not complete anyone of these tracks in the given time, the player will have to restart the entire tournament again. After completing each track for the first time in the tournament the player will be awarded a new car that they can race with. The missing 2 tracks can also be unlocked to race in Time Trial mode by completing the tracks in the Tournament. In Custom mode the player can build their own track with various track pieces in a garage and race on the track. The track can be layered over and has almost infinite possibilities of what can be built. The player can then race any car they have available on the track. In Time Trial mode the player can race on any of the 6 main tracks that are unlocked without a required time limit and can practice their skills or racing or try to beat their records on the tracks. The player can also unlock some of the missing cars in this mode by performing various tricks and stunts.
**SPOILERS** If you want to know how to unlock all the cars in this game that you don't get from the tournament I will include a list below with timestamps showing how to unlock them. There is also a bonus track in this game that I will mention how to play as well.

Sol-Aire CX-4: Do a Front/Backflip and a Spin (Together) 12:19-12:33
Slideout: Perfrom at least 3 Spinning Barrel Rolls (a combination of barrel roll and spinning sideways) 12:49-13:03
Radio Flyer Wagon: Land a Barrel Roll on Two Wheels and Land Back on Four Wheels (right on the next jump) 17:48-18:09
There is a bonus track on this game that can only be played after everything has been unlocked (all cars and tracks) it is called "The Planet" to race on this track all you need to do is right click between the two "T's" on the Mattel logo on the track selection screen and the track will be selected. A demonstration of activating this track as well as racing on it can be found at 37:24-40:02

I never knew how to barrel roll as a kid
Successful stunts will receive your car a Burst of speed once you land correctly.
Landing incorrectly after a failed stunt will result a crash that doesn't end the race, but it still costs time.

You should never play Hot Wheels near to your TV. Otherwise your Hot Wheels cars will break it while speeding up.

One thing I've always wondered about these games is how they worked. Like, you're not actually racing in a 3D environment, right? It looks more like a pre-rendered movie that your car is layered on top of. Yet, if that's the case, I wonder how your car's stats like speed, turning, etc. play into it. Is going faster like speeding up the movie? I'd also love to see a "technical" view of a course, like remove the background movie and show how/where your car is supposed to turn, what that actually means on a mechanical level, etc.

Hi nidokinggames44 how can I do barrel roll and barrel roll over 2 side wheels in hot wheels stunt track driver and give me a reply of how to press the keys in barrel roll and 2 side wheels am I going to press down key and left key or idk show me how
You need to press the Ctrl or the Alt key. As for landing on two wheels it is actually hard to do (for me at least). Just try rotating your car while doing a barrel roll and try to land on two wheels is the best way in my opinion.
You should do the 2 wheels on the loop on the living room level
