    Great now do one for those of us without power washers.

      You don’t need a power washer to wash a screen. Just a normal hose or water from a sink or bath will do, it might take a bit longer though

    Do yo think an iON 40V 5.0 Ah 1160 PSI Light-Duty Cordless Pressure Washer will work to reclaim a screen?

    If your doing a small print like that one....maybe dont cover the entire screen next time? And then put tape around the border so that u dont mess up.. Just to save time and emulsion and emulsion remover?

    • @LearnHowToScreenPrint
      @LearnHowToScreenPrint  6 років тому +8

      Grace Hampton that would be stepping over dollars to save pennies...emulsion is cheap- tape is more expensive- and you would need some odd size scoop coaters to do screens like that...

    I bought powder emulsion remover and applied some in small amount of water and sprayed in on the screen, but it doesn't come out any ideas why and what can I do??

    • @LearnHowToScreenPrint
      @LearnHowToScreenPrint  3 роки тому +1

      Couple things I can think of- the powder emulsion remover might not be the right kind to remove the type of emulsion you are using...diazo- photopolymer...check and make sure they are comparable. You might try increasing the ratio too. Make it stronger

    • @karoma7898
      @karoma7898 5 років тому

      You can return the emulsion that's still in the spreading container to the emulsion bottle, just don't scrape it off with a squeegee, it's not worth it ruining a bottle for a few drops

      Lester Jeffries if you want to use the screen for another design then you will need to remove the emulsion and reclaim the screen

      Lester Jeffries - if you want to put a new design in the screen then you have to remove the emulsion- and reapply new emulsion and expose the new design into the emulsion.

    This is the worst job i ever had. I was reclaiming about 200 screens a day and hated it.

      @LearnHowToScreenPrint  3 роки тому

      Dang that is a ton of screens..and sounds like a wet dirty job. Gotta do what you gotta do. Hopefully you at least had earbuds and music to listen to while you reclaimed.
