Darrell Brooks, say's prison isn't safe in a note to to his mom. Well Darrell you should have thought about that before you mowed down innocent folks including children with your two ton vehicle.

Too hard to prove without a direct admission of guilt. Ends up being one person's word against another's and that doesn't fly in court.

The discussion about "the calendar" is amusing. They will be better off changing the various scales of time from "day" to "week", and "week" to "month", and "month" to "year". This will become clear when the trial gets to the point where Darrell want to represent himself.Weeeee.
I would like to see the proceedings moved to another county. Waukesha has been horribly wounded by the defendant's actions and the public (jury pool) is understandably distraught.
@@thebluehotel426Waukasha City have around 80,000 citizens - Waukasha County have around 400,000.
Wisconsin have around 5,000,000 citizens.
As I have heard the trail have to be held within the city/country where the crime was committed ~ Waukasha County juristiction.
His lawyers was indee trying to delay the trail by not being effective:
The following 3 reports was send to them in april:
Car inspektion
Speed calculations
DNA from the car and items from the car and founding just after the Parade "insidens" - slippers and hutti.
Video evidens from the parade and from DB get away attempt.
I know this hearing is in March 2022 so the DA don't have the above mentioned reports at that moment - but the defens lawyers knew these reports was underwayes - so they could have take Pro active actions - but they didnt.

Such a different trial & totally different behaviour from Brooks when he actually had attorneys. And oh look, not a single bit of SovCitiot 💩 to be seen
Actually in the hearing before this his female attorney panders to it when she makes a remark about how the officer wanted to address Brooks. She just called him the driver. Fairly certain it was intentional.
As a UA-cam content creator I am well aware of, and skilled at, the ease of audio boosting during rendering and uploading content. There is no excuse for the poor/low audio other then lack of professionalism. This channel makes huge bank from its re-uploads of public content, and still fails at producing watchable content.

Judge says she can be fair and impartial... I dunno. But he's still going to prison regardless so it's not a big deal anyways....
She has done a fantastic job so far proving that she’s not biased. She’s given the murderer more than enough leeway to avoid a mistrial & just because he doesn’t like being told what to do (or not to) & his SovCitiot 💩 has no legal standing whatsoever, doesn’t mean she’s biased in any way.
@@allisonjames2923 all judged once swore an oath to the bar. The bar oath does not degrade when they become a judge.
One cannot be fair and impartial with that oath ever. As the barrister annual registry or BAR will eventually ask you for a favor or disbar you..

She doesn’t have to if she declares any potential conflict & neither side objects. As long as they have the opportunity to request her to recuse
@@allisonjames2923 with how many people were hit and how small a town it is, I doubt they'd be able to find anyone with less connection to the incident

I bet she now wishes she would have recused herself because of how the trial has been going.
Nope she said it was a great challenge:
Every morning she meditered - read the Bible found comfort and then went to work.
She also tolk that she had great help and supervision from other judges - so she was confident all the way.
(Judges have a "hit line" 24/7/365" - so that have online support or by phone)

She needs to recuse herself! She knows someone very close to this case. She even said herself that a victim's father is also considered a victim!
I agree. It would be really unfortunate for him to get several life sentences and then the cases get thrown out because the judge overseeing the whole process had a personal relationship with the victims. They need to send this case out of area. She’s thinking about herself. “I have a duty and ethical obligation to oversee this” …so does every other judge in the country and they might also be less biased.
I want " justice served" and the scum bag sentenced. I agree with the other comments. She should remove herself. I don't want to see the whole case thrown out because of her knowing someone who has some sort of link to the case!

@@holden4620 It would just be one conviction for the person that she knew. I believe the remaining ones would stand.
She doesn’t need to recuse herself. She’s made the conflict very well known & both sides had an opportunity to request recusal in light of that & didn’t. She’s the judge in a small town & even within the State, with so many people involved, the chances of a judge knowing a victim or their family are quite high.
Let him go... no big thing.. those people know better than to play in the street
