I finally get it. It makes sense watching him insist the world know about his shackles. He genuinely thinks his situation is unfair and unjust, and not only that but he genuinely believes people would be sympathetic to him if they knew. That’s why he talked about jury nullification, it’s why he insisted on initially appearing in a jail smock, and why he brought up restraints and everything else. He actually thinks people would feel sorry for him and advocate for his release, when in reality people are just tickled pink to see his misery. He’s just that out of touch with reality.
Someone is telling him that there are marches going on for him 🙄 and he believes it. He is to delusional for this to be from his own mind. He did after all learn about that redit thread in court the other day. 🤷🏻♀️
Idk why he insists on it so much either, it kind of makes him look worse. No one is here to feel sympathetic for him. I do believe however they were on him.. it makes sense to considering it was verdict day & due to his constant disruptions & angry outbursts in court. It’s disconcerting that the court would lie about it if they did, all she had to do is explain it’s a security measure & shock wasn’t used on him at the end of the day, even if the device was placed. That’s why she convoluted her answer on the issue Smh and there def aren’t any marches in his behalf.. now dude thinks he’s Martin Luther King lol
@@shaheedharun445 Lets just say I am in a position to know, there is no such thing as an ankle shock as a prisoner control measure. It doesn’t exist, probably because of the lawsuits that would rapidly follow! I guarantee what was said to Brooks is that it was an ankle “shackle” and he heard “shock.” Note that he said “ankle shock” several times throughout the trial. Honestly until his outburst today I assumed he was mispronouncing “ankle shackle” himself because the idea of an electric shock device is so absurd.
I can't imagine why he thought nullification would be a get out of jail free card. If it was just minor charges, it might have worked. But I find it mind boggling that even somebody as deluded as Brooks would think even a single juror could look at a case against a person with a history of violence and who then drove through a parade route, killing six and injuring dozens more, and claims to have a clear conscience, and say to themselves "Wow, these traffic laws and the notion of not being allowed to take peoples' lives in cold blood are complete nonsense and I'm going to ignore them."
I don't know about the rest of you but, the judge in this case, judge Jennifer Darrow, deserves some sort of medal or high recognition for the job she did during this trial. I do not know how ANYONE could keep their cool dealing with a person like Derrell Brooks. The guy tested her every day, with every witness and pretty much everything that she or the prosecution had to say. Judge Darrow deserves a medal and an all-expense paid vacation for a year to anywhere in the world. That's the very least they could or should do for her. What an amazing woman.
I honestly feel like we should start a Go Fund Me for her to take an amazing vacation after this! I’m completely broke, but I would throw something in for it! She is an absolute saint! ❤
Kind of hilarious to see him STILL trying to seek sympathy & thinking that anyone but complete nutters would care. He is such a narcissist he really thinks people would be shocked to know if he actually did have a shock device on his ankles. If it was true (not that I believe him) I think it’s an excellent idea for those who are cold-blooded murderers like him & those who are at risk of going off in the courtroom. Stun guns are used in normal law enforcement so totally reasonable for a similar unobtrusive device violent inmates who are in custody at trial. He probably didn’t have them but I bet one of the CO’s or bailiffs told him he did so that he’d think he couldn’t move too far. And tbh I think that is the only thing that prevented him from attacking the judge on the first day his vicious, malevolent, violent look of hate & murder contemplation came out in court, targeted at the judge. I think it was the day he told her that he was a grown man & nobody told him what to do. He was standing glaring at her & his body was rocking slightly like he was trying to judge whether he could reach her before he was stopped.
I don't get your point. Because the audio was on that means he could hear her? There was times the Judge said she couldn't him clearly. Even though the audio was on.
Actually he said he couldn't hear and needed his headphones in the other court. Here he is using the headphones.... BUT I did see him without headphones in the other court, during the trial, clearly able to hear. In particular when the judge was counting the cameras in each court. She stated there were 4 in his room. He then begins to turn and count them with no headphones on. So he was caught a long time ago. Lol!
She 100% has her sentence paperwork and speech prepared already. She is just going through the final procedures before she can finally give her real opinion to Brooks’ face.
@@kawligarea26 I just researched and looked up soft restraints and there is no mention of anything to do with any electronic or stun devices. I don’t know where you looked it up but that’s not true what you said.
I watched a video yesterday where a gentleman was representing himself and he did have a shock ankle restraint on. He wouldn’t stop speaking so the Judge told the sheriff to shock him to “shut him up”. The defendant didn’t even realize what was happening and man it was worse than a taser he was thrown across the room and the sheriff pushed the button two or three times!!! I felt bad for the defendant! The Judge was suspended for the rest of his time on the court!
What difference does it make if he had a shock device or not?? It doesn't bring the people back that he murdered or the dozens of people that he injured and traumatized. He should have been put in a Hannibal Lecter-style full body restraint with how unstable he acted during the entire trial. Ridiculous behavior.
Funny thing is that he did not. Just soft restraints like something around his waist or ankles like they need to for any inmate. Hes just exaggerating as always.
He's trying to "prove" that the court was impeding on his ability to defend himself by shocking him therefore he would be able to move for a mistrial. The court is doing everything they can to avoid that happening by proving that the restraints are in fact not electrical.
He lied in front of jury and on record so Judge had to make a record proving his lie. She has left no holes for him to sneak through. She did same when he lied about the sound being off when she muted him so bailiffs testified, That's a lie.
Completely disconnected from the fact he killed people, and injured so many. Zero sign of humanity. Everyone owes him for some reason. Notice how he controls himself when in the other room. He enjoys an audience to act out in front of, like the law is failing him. An absolute malignant, histrionic narcissist, that needs to be out of society.
Exactly, I just wished the judge would’ve reminded him how disrespectful it was to kill and hurt these people families and how Christmas is upon us leaving these families to deal with the loss of loved ones at Christmas.
I can totally believe the deputy sheriff told brooks when asked that they were “soft shackles” and brooks mis heard it and thought he said “shock shackles” probably because he wouldn’t shut up long enough to listen to what anyone has to say….
Say what you want but Mr Brooks' lawyer is one of the best. Not in terms of intelligence or composure. Or respectfulness or decorum. Or knowledge about the law. Or maturity. But he sure is passionate about defending his client!
Because he couldn't get his way. Did you see the way he looked at the prosecutors when the lady officer didn't give the answers that he wanted and the state kept objecting on him. The judge had to call his name to snap him out of it. Go back and look. It was his witness.
This has to be the most patient judge in the history of jurisprudence. She had to contend with a complete piece of s**t that was rude, obnoxious, had no empathy for anyone. He is the epitome of disrespect for the court, the judge, the prosecution, an all the witnesses. I don't know how Judge Dorow kept her composure through all this. However she was able to pull it off, her demeanor was commendable, and honorable. She gave this defendant way more latitude than he deserved, as well as respect. She should be an example to others behind the bench.

@@michaelfowler5760 It was 'proven for the record' on about the 3rd or 4th day. Even though dum-dum Darrell doesn't understand this, it's a complete non-issue. Duh-rell's outbursts notwithstanding, he, and you are just plain wrong.
It was a pleasure to chat with everyone during this trail I hate that it was because of murder but glad to see so many standing together ❤️ praying for the victims and families
Judge Dorow was the best judge for this case because she countered Darrell Brooks perfectly. What some people don't understand is that Brooks was looking for a fight. He wanted her to blow up at him and match his energy so that he could taint the proceedings by manipulating the narrative and then eventually claim a mistrial. It was evident in how much he kept prodding her, that was textbook manipulation tactics used by abusers. They'll gaslight people by twisting their words and instigating them, and when they inevitably blow up they can immediately turn around and act like they're the victim and make it seem like you're at fault. He did that many times, not only to the judge, but to a few of the witnesses as well. But Judge Dorow didn't play his game and instead did the absolute opposite, which was to continue to do things legally by the book and allow him to showcase his outbursts and tactics on the record in order to secure that there will be no possibility for him to gain an appeal. So those trying to claim that the judge was "weak" for not controlling him or telling him to shut up; she was being smart. She took the time to maintain an accurate record and then ultimately let him be his own worse enemy. That is what was needed in this case. It's not about fighting a narcissist with control or logic, because you'll never win. It's about showcasing to others their own delusions and ultimately making their actions be what causes their own downfall. And that is exactly what Judge Dorow has done. So, well done.

Yep
Nobody in their right mind would get up and speak for him. They would face some severe scrutiny if they did
And no one in their right mind would waste money traveling on his behalf either. Just another lie and another stall tactic.
Why do people have to schedule around Brooks’ supposed people when he has inflicted so much pain and suffering. There are those still in physical therapy let alone the daily emotional toll. Let the victims and their family make a statement! As for Brooks, only his mother should be given time imo
His mother gave him that car knowing he didn’t have a drivers license she’s responsible too…
I finally get it.

Idk why he insists on it so much either, it kind of makes him look worse. No one is here to feel sympathetic for him. That’s why she convoluted her answer on the issue
Smh and there def aren’t any marches in his behalf.. now dude thinks he’s Martin Luther King lol

Haha good catch
I don't get your point. Because the audio was on that means he could hear her? There was times the Judge said she couldn't him clearly. Even though the audio was on.
Actually he said he couldn't hear and needed his headphones in the other court. Here he is using the headphones.... BUT I did see him without headphones in the other court, during the trial, clearly able to hear. In particular when the judge was counting the cameras in each court. She stated there were 4 in his room. He then begins to turn and count them with no headphones on. So he was caught a long time ago. Lol!
He thinks the public cares what he has to say. Most of the public is disappointed if the shock collars weren’t used.

@@MartaGisela20 I agree, I was saying that in reference to if he was possibly having a conflict with his current counsel in those cases. I don’t put it beneath him to try and push irrelevant issues with his other pending cases to create a basis in this situation. If he does and the lawyer doesn’t want to agree he could represent himself again.

I’m glad you find dead children and grandparents so “entertaining” -
You sit revering this child killer. Shame on you and your court workers. Getting enjoyment out of other families misfortunes. Karma is real, and you will taste it. Shame on you.
My continued applause for Judge Dorow. Sometimes you gotta fight fire with fire. And she did that. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
This is like the epilogue of a movie - not necessary to watch but nice to see to start wrapping up all the loose ends! Also gives the fans a little extra content to reduce the harshness of the story being over
It’s not the epilogue..wait the sentence..that’s gonna be fun
I'm kind waiting on Netflix or Lifetime to do it
Pretty sure we’ll see him interrupting the victims during impact statements, so he’ll be sent to his room where he’ll make a show of falling asleep. At that point, a mild shock device would be appropriate, while keeping him muted and in cuffs.
I thought the same too, I was like man it’s over. But nope, it’s still going lol.
@@IamMichellealways that wouldn't surprise me in the least.
I think that some of his extensive story should be told, solely as educational purposes for people to see warning signs and the type of people to avoid at all costs.
I find it hard to believe 20 people would want to speak on brooks behalf.
He would be awfully lucky to get one person to speak.
I think he's still delusional. I would be truly surprised if anyone showed up tbh.
I think he’s asked a number of people who say they would show up but when it actually comes to it they won’t actually show
Probably a day trip for his fellow pod members.
Mr Brooks has many imaginary friends
If he did have “shock device” on him, which we know he didn’t, WHY DOES HE THINK ANYONE WOULD CARE?!? He literally can’t see or feel that he is HATED by everyone.
Were we supposed to feel any differently whether he had shock devices on or off? No😑
I am disappointed he didn't
@@ismaelmendoza7033 me too!😂
This dude desperately needs to fire his lawyer
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Lol 😂
🤣😂🤣
Is there a way to send this Judge a Thank You card? I admire her! SHE DID THAT!
Her court address I'd public. I saw on the news yesterday that she has received letters from all of the US and dozens of flowers from the public.
And a bouquet of flowers 💐❤
She can't accept any gifts or cards.
Mr Books, we don't CARE if you DID have a "shock device" on your ankle. Your actions warranted it. If you didn't, who knows if you would not have attacked someone in court?
I wish they HAD shocked him a few times during that trial. The fact he continues to think HE is the victim here is what is truly MIND BOGGLING. 😉
Agreed
RIGHT???? Honestly...the level of narcissism is unbelievable! He's gonna have a lotta fun in prison with his attitude. He's a short insecure little man. He'll be their playtoy!
Imagine if he was alive during medieval times? He would've been happily tortured to death
Kind of hilarious to see him STILL trying to seek sympathy.
I wish he did!
20 people speaking on his behalf is the funniest thing he has said this entire trial 😂😂😂😂😂
"from all over the country, different states". He's just trying to delay things.
He makes it sound like some sort of a celebration or big occassion!
Nobody will speak on his behalf.😁🥺
More like 2 minus the 0...And one of them cancelling...So it's looking like 1 showing up and if it's any relative they'll probably forget it's supposed to be something nice...More like how he acted a fool at a barbecue when he was 4 and every since then they've seen nothing but foolishness....
@@annatjievanderwath2803 I know right? That was the funniest. He sounded like he was some kind of a celebrity
That was the biggest joke of the day.
He's just delighted he gets one more chance to grill a police officer on the stand to yet again make the trial about poor Durll.
You go, Judge! Good for you!❤
See yall on the 15th! I honestly hope the victims in Waukesha can enjoy their Halloween and a lovely fall Wisconsin night.
⏰️TIME STAMPS⏰️
*NOTE: I have shared the Courthouse address on my channel in my community post, for anyone interested in sending this amazing Judge, a thank you card/note!
10:06 cameras on, then off
18:32 on the record
Unsealing search warrants
21:20 defendant given documentation to review
22:03 defendant asks about document
24:30 Judge orders warrants unsealed effective next day
Judge addresses defendant making the comment in front of the jury about his ankle shock bracelets
29:30 defendant raising voice to Judge about "shock devices" he wore during trial to keep him restrained
31:50 break to move defendant to the other courtroom (this fool! He hasn't learned a thing! He doesn't respect anyone at all! I'm sure, in his mind, he's thinking he has nothing to lose. He's going to die in prison. He's never leaving prison to live in the outside world, after he's sentenced.)
36:29 back on the record
Judge states for the record, about the move of courtrooms and the shackles used to keep the defendant restrained during trial
Judge stated she will have a Deputy testify before ending today
41:10 Judge asks state about timing for sentencing
State requests Nov 16, 2022, due to strong requests to have it done before the anniversary date of Nov 21.
46:05 defendant unmuted to speak to his timing issues
Defendant has court on Nov 17th, for both charges in Milwaukee County, 2pm.
Brooks says approximately 20 people will speak on his behalf at sentencing (is he nuts??? 20??? 🤨)
51:50 Judge states zoom is available for statements to be made
Judge states Nov 15 & 16, both set aside for this sentencing hearing
(Defendant is being super nice right now! He's wanting the sentencing date AFTER the anniversary, is what it sounds like to me! After he just heard the state requests! Not surprised! 🤬)
57:05 Judge schedules sentencing hearing for Tues Nov 15 at 8:30am and Wed 16 at 1pm.
Zoom attendees must be admitted and approved by noon on Nov 11 and won't be admitted to testify if name is not on list.
Brooks keeps talking as Judge calls Deputy Kibler to the stand. He's objecting to the date of the hearing.
1:01:40 Deputy Nicholas Kibler on the stand
Soft restraint used during trial, attached to ankles and table.
No shock devices used
1:04:30 state has questions
1:05:08 defendant asks questions for Deputy Kibler
1:09:35 Deputy is excused from the stand
1:11:11 off the record
(So Brooks thought throughout the entire trial, that he had shock devices on his ankles! 🤣🤣🤣 I don't know why that's so funny to me, but it is! He probably never was told that and he's probably lying, per usual. But I just picture him starting to throw a tantrum and stopping cold in his tracks! 🤷🏽♀️⚖️💯)
Thank you to all who have utilized and appreciated my time stamp comments throughout this trial. Ill definitely continue to do these as I watch upcoming trials, just as I have before this trial. I'm happy to read your replies, letting me know these were helpful! I'm open to any requests for future comment details also. 💞🙏🏼🔮⚖️
See ya again on Nov 15 and 16! So we can hear "6 LIFE SENTENCES, CONSECUTIVELY, WITH AN ADDITIONAL 800 YEARS!!!" 🙏🏼⚖️💯
You’re such a real one for this, I also love your commentary included within the time stamps. I can’t wait for the six consecutive life sentences plus and additional 800 years also
Thanks so much!
Thanks again! Like I said your time stamps totally became part of this whole experience and are greatly appreciated!

I'm working on a top 10 moments video, that I kinda explained in the reply above this one. I'd love if you stop by and leave your thoughts about my verbal commentary in the video I already made! I shared some about how awesome Judge Dorow did! I also shared some of Brooks ridiculousness. 🤣🎪🤡
The top moments video will take some time to edit. I don't have a laptop yet so I've made & make, all 400+ videos on my phone. Editing takes double the time. 📽🎬🎞📺 But I do have it started!
Thank you again!!! 😊🔮⚖️🍿
Hey if you run into Brooks somewhere, let him know we're all outraged that he wasn't in shock shackles. Matter of fact, let him know we think he should have the livin daylights shocked out of him.
I think he should have had jumper cables from the red suv hooked up to his balls!
They should have put some on his balls and shocked those every time he started getting out of line!
Quick question...
If he "knew what they look like" whyd he have to ask what they were putting on him?
Moreover,
Why does he think we care?
Exactly.
Also, if there was a shock device, wouldn’t it have been used during his pounding his fists, screaming so loud we could hear it from the other courtroom, taking off his shirt, the physical altercation he had with the deputies the day he took his shirt off?
For the same reason he thought the jury would nullify lol
He is so rude and disrespectful. He acts like he’s a celebrity. Unbelievable
I will miss judge Dorow, i've admired her attitude during these procedings and also learned from her
100%
Someone needs to set up a GoFundMe to send her on a lengthy luxury cruise so she can forget this whole business happened.
It's on UA-cam so you can look at her for as long as you want.😁👍
Wasn’t one of Illinois v. Allen’s three listed options, as he continually referenced, to bind and gag the defendant? Wouldn’t that be a hoot and a half if Judge Dorow decided to utilize that option at sentencing rather than removing him and hitting the mute button since he obviously took offense to her “illegal 4th option?” 😂😂😂
He made a mockery of that trial the disrespect to the victims and their families was sicking
His mother already said she's not attending, so who will be the other 19 shameful people. I call BS!
I don’t believe there’s one person let alone 19. I bet some people just said oh yeah I’ll speak on your behalf but ghost him
But if he wants her to be there SHE’LL BE THERE! Maybe she can explain Subject Jurisdiction. That’s lawful law 😂😂😂
It’s probably two but you and I know how he loves to exaggerate.
I literally laughed out loud when he said he'd have 20+ people speaking for him. Talk about delusional.
I am wondering if he intends to call in some sovcit nuts. That would be a show.
Victim’s family: “You killed my family member. They are dead because of you.”
Brooks: “Objection. When are you doing to talk about subject matter jurisdiction.”
No...I see him saying "Objection! I no longer identify as "you"...."
@@uffda1972 I think he’ll break down and apologize. We’ll see.
@@DrivenA111 if he does I'll be shocked but as a person from Waukesha I hope he does
@@uffda1972 honestly I hope he doesn't. I don't believe he feels remorse at all and to stand there and lie in an apology would be disingenuous. The people of Waukesha don't need it.
