Just wanted to thank you and let you know that one of my most struggling tutees has just grasped this concept with the help of your video. We sat and watched it on Zoom and worked through it step by step. Success :)
thank you so much for posting these videos. for someone with adhd i struggle so incredibly hard to focus in class and never get my work done or understand the teachers. instead i come home and watch these videos , and they actually help !!! i have math finals tomorrow so this came in clutch :)
Thank you so much! I was struggling which way I would go on the number line in class today, but this video helped me understand it very well. I just need to practice a little more, and I'll be ready for my math test tomorrow :)
my daughter just spaces out in class when her teacher teaches so this video helped her alot she was confused at first but she got it after a couple times watching it
Do I have to know a certain thing in order to make a number line or can I just put random number that ofc show the inequality? ( I have an upcoming test like today, I hope someone replies fast :'D
my math teacher said the exact opposite with the circles; when it's just greater, then it's a solid circle but when its greater than or equal to it is an open circle
I'm literally searching this up cause my math teacher hasn't taught us this yet and is making us do an assignment including this and this girl is crying cause of stress :)
I used this on my homework and I got and F she also screamed at me and then I showed my math teacher your vid and she said your math is horrible, idk why my teacher is so mean, she’s the worst I could ever have.😔
If the x come first in the inequality " x< 12" then yes shade the way of the arrow but if the variable comes after the inequality then it shades in the opposite direction "12 > x" Twelve is greater than x, what could x be? 11, 10, 5.5, 0, -123. We would shade to the left instead of the right because we have to include all possible numbers 12 is greater than.
Yes but what do I flip when a negative number is on the wrong side and so is the x my teacher told me that I need to flip the number and the greater than less that or equal to sign
Habib Man As Lucky Dragon wrote, when you divide or multiply an inequality by a negative, you reverse the direction of the inequality symbol. Here's a demonstration for you: negative 2 is less than 5, right " -2 < 5 " Now divide both sides by negative 1, and see that "2 < -5" is not correct. You must flip the inequality sign: "2 > -5"
i do not understand why this is better than my math teacher
ikr this really helped me a lot and i understand a lot better now
Yep
borrasjosh Exactly
Same
Lmao fr 😭
I was sick for two weeks and missed this lesson, thank you for helping me understand this
i didnt play attention in class so im watching this for a test thanks lmao
Sameee are we living the same life rn
I slept in math and science on accident
@@latoyabanks1685 happens to me sometimes lol

Not really paying attention , I miss math class.
Just wanted to thank you and let you know that one of my most struggling tutees has just grasped this concept with the help of your video. We sat and watched it on Zoom and worked through it step by step. Success :)
Thank you! My instructor went through this lesson over a hour and students were confused now watching less than 5min video it’s so much clearer . 😅
thank you so much for posting these videos. for someone with adhd i struggle so incredibly hard to focus in class and never get my work done or understand the teachers. instead i come home and watch these videos , and they actually help !!! i have math finals tomorrow so this came in clutch :)
This helped me a lot! when I asked my teacher how to do these problems she said solve them 😂
Tell u about math teachers 😞
This is surprisingly accurate, not only do teachers do this but most adults as well. No matter what problem you they won't help lmao
weird a guy on yt can teach it better than my high school math teacher
Thank you so much! I was struggling which way I would go on the number line in class today, but this video helped me understand it very well. I just need to practice a little more, and I'll be ready for my math test tomorrow :)
Good luck
3:15 thats the sound of his students in a cage that think they know better than him
He trying to teach his students and the viewers lol

Me too
Meeee
Joey Carey I know right
Mee too but in 10th grade
me too ahahahaha
Great video really explained the topic well by going down the different types of inequalities on the same page.
BEST HOMEWORK HELPER EVER!
I always come here after I have a math lesson because my teacher is too confusing for me
my daughter just spaces out in class when her teacher teaches so this video helped her alot she was confused at first but she got it after a couple times watching it
what was that noise on 3:15
You have to keep up these videos you actually helped me a ton
Thanks this helped me pass my test on edgenuity, edgenuity made me do about 30 10 min. long videos just to explain these.
This was a better explanation than my teacher
Do I have to know a certain thing in order to make a number line or can I just put random number that ofc show the inequality? ( I have an upcoming test like today, I hope someone replies fast :'D
tysm bro it helped even 9 years later :D
Thank you so much dude I couldn’t understand this at all till ur vid
Go to 3:15 OMG its so creepy!!!!!!!!

Thank you bro! god bless your kind soul dude! got finals tmmw and this helped me lots
Omg this was so helpful and thank you so much for maintaining a really comfortable and easy to understand accent
Thank you, good sir. This video helped me out a lot
This is what happens when I don’t pay attention in pre-algebra when your very cool teacher is teaching this to 7th graders
I don't understand how on 4:34 you flipped the equation around. My Math teacher told us the exact opposite.
my math teacher said the exact opposite with the circles; when it's just greater, then it's a solid circle but when its greater than or equal to it is an open circle
Ouch. Think of a solid dot as a point. A hollow dot would simply mark the location, but not a real point.
@@MathWOEs I understand now and admit i was wrong
Your explanation is pleasant and its literally amazing
I didn't understand the lesson from my teacher , but I understood everything from this video
i wasn’t paying attention in class thank you
Thank you so much! I’m ready for tomorrow’s exam!
Yeah even I have an exam
Well it's today
I am revising in the mor

What was that on 3:15
Grats on 1K subs 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

i have a test tmm and ik u posted this 7 years ago but thank you.
I'm literally searching this up cause my math teacher hasn't taught us this yet and is making us do an assignment including this and this girl is crying cause of stress :)
thank you so much you just made it easier
This was extremely helpful, I can't believe I had forgotten how to graph inequalities. lol
I have a math exam coming up. Thank u for your help!😊
The sound at 3:15 had me shook but tuis video helped a lot
I heard yelling in the background
*lets not talk about that...*
The kids in his basement

cass the panda I did algebra in 6th grade wtf, "pre-algebra"?
Don't judge schooling systems changed
I'm doing this in grade 11.......
DIY 4 Dummies sis me too
cass the panda me too yet I still don’t understand this
he makes it so simple thank you
who was yelling?
So, the arrow is always on tge opposite side right?
This is very helpful I'm very good at pre algebra
I watched too many videos but now i understood well
I used this on my homework and I got and F she also screamed at me and then I showed my math teacher your vid and she said your math is horrible, idk why my teacher is so mean, she’s the worst I could ever have.😔
Kpop Fan123 because your dumbass loves kpop
Thank you! This really helped me a lot! I have a test tommorow! I hope I pass it!
Thank you sir 😊it was a very good explanation 👍 and I could understand it clearly 😀
Why does he teach better than my teacher?
Because he actually teaches 😅
Lol true
So helpful, thank you 👍🏻
Tysm I wasn't clear of this topic and exam tnrw thanks for helping 💓❤❤❤❤
so you always shade the way the arrow is pointing ?
this is so easy
no,it depends
@abby4cat it may point to one direction, but sometimes it would mean to go the other way💀
If the x come first in the inequality " x< 12" then yes shade the way of the arrow but if the variable comes after the inequality then it shades in the opposite direction "12 > x" Twelve is greater than x, what could x be? 11, 10, 5.5, 0, -123. We would shade to the left instead of the right because we have to include all possible numbers 12 is greater than.
Matt Collins thank you Matt collins
So the greater or equal sign doesn’t switch on the second to last formula?
thank you and is every one okay at home after 3:15 ?
He has twin boys. They made some noise 😂
That scream tho
oh no no
oh yea yeah
Thank u it helped a lot! Better than my teacher
Why doesn't the first number line have a arrow head
Yes but what do I flip when a negative number is on the wrong side and so is the x my teacher told me that I need to flip the number and the greater than less that or equal to sign
What’s going on at 3:15
Im glad i wasnt the only one hearing the women screaming lmao
Why should you minus 5 from both sides
This is so easy to understand, thanks!
this helps me so much
Thank u alot! I had a problem in this chapter. God bless u!
His is smarter than my maths teacher
Wish u are my maths tutor
Can you help me with problems like, " 0>3x^2-7x-1
Thank you SO much for this video!
that sound on 3:15
in wonder what it was😈
Lol
LMAOOO
it was a bird
slow it down to 0.5 its creepy
what app you use
why is it in school I don't get it and when I watch these kinds of videos, I get it!
better than my math teacher, thank you
I came into Zoom class late the teacher didn't notice but I didn't get a chance to hear or write down anything she said lol
Thanks, This made more sense then my teacher
Superb,and thank you.
Why does the "" on the last one after dividing by -1
negative 1
If you divide by a negative you flip the sign
Habib Man As Lucky Dragon wrote, when you divide or multiply an inequality by a negative, you reverse the direction of the inequality symbol. Here's a demonstration for you: negative 2 is less than 5, right " -2 < 5 " Now divide both sides by negative 1, and see that "2 < -5" is not correct. You must flip the inequality sign: "2 > -5"
+Habib Man so u see here use inverse operation
Because it's a negative, you switch the arrow.
OMG CANT FIND THE RIGHT VID FOR MY MATH
Why bother commenting then lmao
You find it yet? Lol
lol
a really good video all i want to say is that in the second last equation the 2 looked like a z but this video really helped me
Didn’t realize how old this video is
Thank You So Much Man You Helped A Lot!!!👍👍🙃🙃
What if on our assignments the constant is before the variable
What if the number is in point like 4.67
So helpful thanks for sharing
How would you plot 3>5 on a number line or anything like that where there is no variable?
There is no condition where there is NO variable.
Thank you this was extremely helpful!
I wasn't at school the day we were doing this so thank chu
This is a good vid my son learned alot thank you🎈🎆🎈🎆
Thanks for the help
