unfortunately, teachers are often expected to cover a certain amount of material each day. if not, they get in trouble. it happened to me when i slowed down to help some struggling students.

Ok my point of confusion is WHY WHY WHY do we have to take 3x to 2x instead of 2x to 3x isn't taking 2x to 3x easier well at least thats what my teacher told me.
the point is: it does not matter. try both ways, you will see that you can do these steps in different ways

In life, it's easier to move small things than to move big things. You'll find that if you move the smaller variable term to the larger one, you will have fewer minus signs to worry about. Fewer minus signs = fewer mistakes.
+Mr P Yes but he wanted Positive numbers, and if he would have moved the 2 to the 3 it would have turned the number into a Negative at some point and that would make the inequality steps longer to solve.

I needed a quick refresher on this and it was extremely helpful. My teacher wanted the whole class to look up how to solve linear inequalities, and of all the videos I watched this one was explained the most thoroughly. I bet my friend in integrated math would understand this with how well you explained it.
