    why can't i get teachers like you. I always get a teacher that can't explain something and over complicate it to the point where i find myself shutting down bc i don't understand it. You broke it down so perfect and your 3 steps to how to solve the problem are what made this process so easy. Thank you so much. Its teachers like you that make learning interesting and i want to say keep on making these videos you're helping so many people.

    My Algebra teacher was pregnant, so she had to leave. We now have a recent college graduate teaching us. She is in her 40s, and this her first teaching job, so typically she messes up sometimes. She doesn't realize the mistakes she makes, so our whole class gets extremely confused. Just to add on to it, she has a very thick accent that is hard for us to understand. So, basically I've been learning through UA-cam. Thank you so much for this :)

    I'm in 7th grade honors, and I wanted to look for a challenge. I asked my 8th grade math honors friend, if I could try out his homework. He had this big packet, and I did some of the problems. I was able to do most of them, algebra mixture and system of equation problems.
    But on the last pages, there were Graphing Linear Inequalities, stuff I didn't get at the time. When I got back home, I looked up this video, and in 13 minutes, I've learned how to graph linear inequalities! Thank you!

    I needed to review this concept for pre-calculus and I must say _thank you._ I am unsure why but every other explanation of this concept has left me with a moderate headache. Your explanation was concise and understandable! I like how you explained _why_ you used (0,0) instead of hurrying along with the lesson or thinking that that was "self-explanatory." You're a very good teacher!

    • @scisarah3770
      @scisarah3770 3 роки тому

      @@meooowww3672 Hey! No, you do not have to use it in every problem. You just need the y to be on its own on one side of the equation. For example if I had "3x + 9y = 18" I would have to subtract 3x and divide by 9 because y is an introvert who doesn't like others near it. If you have the problem "y = 7x + 6" you do not have to do anything because y is already alone!

    SO I am in colege Geometry...... Yet the entier course is on algebra ( What..?) and in an 11 week time period they give you 79 tests. On the very last day of class you must have all 79 finished n order to take the FInal and hopefully pass so you can escape the living hell. Well My very last test is on this. The way it works is there are 11 groups of test and you get about 3 videos with some people that give you the very baisic steps and then you are pretty much on your own. If you were not here putting this wonderfully simple version on here I would not be finishing my last test in time without a majoir headache. I would just like to say thank you so very very much. I wish I would have stummbled upon you much sooner. Thank you so very much. I will be sure to pass this channel on to every poor soul forced to take this "Geometry" Class to ensure them less stress and less headache. Once more thank you so much.

      It's been several years since I have been in any sort of a math class. SO Yeah you tend to forget pointless crap like this =/ when it has nothing to do with your profession. There is barely any math involved in making cartoons. Unless you go into something such as being a math teacher or a scientific profession involving math then no, you will never use this. And Yes I learned this back in 7th/8th grade. I garuntee you over your summer break you will forget half of it, spend half of your 8th grade year relearning it only to pile on more junk you will never use and then repeat the process when you get into the 9th grade. That's typically how school works. Have a great day, and before you decide to make a smart remark maybe do a bit of thinking first. Just because someone is in college doesn't mean they are fresh out of highschool. There are many classmates of mine that are in their late 30's and early 40's. Can you imagine how long its been for them since they learned 7th grade math?. Have a nice day. Good luck with school.

    You taught this in an entirely different method than our math lab but your way is easier. The graphing part is difficult because the system won't allow you to graph pass two points. I'm stuck on stupid all day. I have one right so far! I'm gonna pull all my hair out.

    THANK YOU SO MUCH!! I'm in an online class and basically have to teach myself. I have a text book but it was all too confusing. Thank you again, you helped me a lot. I finally understand it

    I swear whenever I watch videos on UA-cam I learn so much more than my actual class. My teacher should just okay UA-cam videos of the lesson instead

      Honestly, during Covid, my teacher allows me to watch UA-cam vids on all my lessons, even on the ones she recommended!! LOL!!

    My son doesn't understand the concept of The graphing.
    Neither do I as a parent.
    Is it that we have to learn how to work the equation from a basic standpoint in terms of what's equal to or greater than before the advanced procedure of graphing?
    What are the learning steps that we could get a grasp of before the graphing portion comes into play where we could better navigate it
