Love the insight into what's going on behind the scenes. Legend Bowl is currently my favourite football game. The fact every player's stats/ability matters. Recently hitting 'Veteran' difficulty and it just feels right, and challenging. College Bowl looks so intriguing. I don't pretend to be a college football fan, but really like the recruiting mechanics this game adds. I'm sure l'll buy it, very soon!
Like Legend Bowl I still can't play the game. I first purchased the Steam version of Legend Bowl when I got a brand-new gaming computer 8 months ago. At the game menu when you select your team it drags TWO controllers to your selected team. My controllers were within the Bluetooth interface but only one was actively connected for this game. There was a smattering of other gamers with the same issue but after several attempts to contact the developer I opted for the refund. To my dismay this same problem exists with College Bowl. Maybe I should have totally removed the other controller from the Bluetooth interface before I asked for and received my refund.
This was a really interesting peak behind the curtain Javo, thanks for sharing. I'm sure that I'd seen on one of your earlier videos that you'd said you had previously managed developers. Did you start out as a developer yourself or did you have to learn the ins and outs more once you undertook a project of this magnitude?
I studied MIS and Business in college. Learning how to program in the workforce and when I started game dev was all me learning on my own. Hope that helps!
@@MrKingJavo Awesome, I've been self learning coding the last couple of years as a hobby, mainly due to my interest in sports simulation/sports games - so I could mess around with the stats and data. I'd dabbled a bit with Pygame but you (by that I mean, me) just don't realise how much logic goes into executing every single step of the graphical representation in a game like LB and CB. Respect for doing such a fantastic job on it, I enjoyed the game before but stuff like this video gives me a whole new level of appreciation.
Any update on console (switch release date)?
I’ve been having fun just watching but the comment about this game coming to consoles make me so excited so I’ll try to support how ever I can

Played the demo a few days before full release and bought it about 20 minutes after it released. Luv it.
You killed it!
Make coach mode great!
THanks for the game!!!
Why does the clock run so slow in the Switch version? 2min QTR games can take 40+ min to play. Something is way wrong with it.
It is SOOOO much fun! This game would sell out if it had all 134 FBS teams.
