I loved these growing up. So glad this game came out. This is how FB games were in the 80s-90s. Tecmo Bowl is still my favorite FB game of all time. Especially the arcade version.
It's something about the foreshadowing in all of your videos that keeps me coming back for more. PGA don't hit it in the water... this don't turn it over... great videos keep it up.

As much as madden is frustrating, simming franchises is still fun. And not too bad. Gamepkay is fine after slider tweaks. I like pixel games sometimes, but madden is for simulation style gameplay. This is more of a novelty
This, Super Blood Hockey, Tape to Tape (I prefer SBH, but it's good), Super Mega Baseball 3 (4 is coming!)... and this. Outstanding alternatives to the predictable crap EA/989 are cranking out.

Not wrong. Some of the best games I have played the last 3 years have been this throwback style. We are in the age of Indie game developers and just making good games, not games that are pretty.
Is this game really easy or are you on rookie/easy? Lots of defenders just sitting still while you run by them. Hopefully this isn't bad AI and just a easy user setting. Other than that the game looks fun. Might have to pick it up
I did enjoy this video and do hope you do more, get into the actual franchise instead of playing full games. Though I have to say in the few times I've played it, my offense has gone nowhere. I wish there were speed settings because my experience was that the blocking was not good and defensive players were in there so quickly. Most passes got swatted down. The game ended in a 0-0 tie.
An updated Tecmo Bowl. It is so good. And the simming stats and everything that I have gotten are also very good. Hoping more eyes on the game will give the dev a boost so that it can just be even more of a fun product.
Yeah it spent a while in EA before it got a full release last year and he's still updating it regularly instead of putting out a new product every year, as for the Tecmo Bowl comparison, I don't remember TB going up and down, but going left and right but then again I got Madden 93 as a kid and didn't end up playing any of the 16 bit TC games, even the kicking reminds me of 93, and has a lot of 2K5 flavor mixed in. Regardless, between this and Axis Football which is a more modern style football game on Steam which you should also check out, we don't need Madden's bullshit last gen port PC release.
You can modify players, which in a sense is creating them, I guess. Also, you can do cpu vs cpu. Game is hopefully launching on consoles here in the next couple of months, which will be really cool.

Also curious how you feel about the scale. Seems like the players are too small, on an oversized field. And finally, is there a difficulty setting? Ok 1 more; can we edit team names. Ppl talk about “mods” but are mods available for Switch or Xbox or Ps5 versions? I’m already thinking… this game is rushed.. how big is the day 1 patch gonna be… i’ve lowered my expectations but still hopeful

Game reminds me of 10-Yard Fight, Tecmo Bowl and Madden combined.

It is hard to compare, I completely, but it is a game that I have more fun playing that is for sure.
This game looks much better than Sunday Rivals in my opinion.
