Treach’s flow is unmatched💎
This songs a straight 10 for me mayne.
One of my favourite bars in this song is: Say something positive, well positive ain't where i live. I live right round corner from west hell, 2 blocks from south shit, and once in a jail cell.
Treach was just saying that his mom tells him he's priceless (so valuable that you can't place a price on it), so why does he feel worthless? Just a line to illustrate how low and hopeless he felt growing up, and how impactful his environment was.
Naughty is a classic group fr fr….they held the nineties DOWN for hip hop….they don’t get nearly the respect that they deserve, glad y’all young boys on it 👌🏾
This song has been one of my favorite songs since I was a young kid because it was one of the first songs that made me understand I wasn't the only one going through it (along with Tupac's Keep Your Head Up, and Ghostface Killah's All That I Got Is You). But I've never noticed that priceless/worthless bar, that was crazy! This song is truly a work of art.
That Ghostface joint made grown ass men cry. But this joint here was also one of the first ones I remember describing life in the PJs.
I was 13 years old when this song came out (I’m from Harlem NYC) and this song hits me hard every time, this song is everything I went and then some ! I’m now 46 years old and I even cried watching this reaction because I came a long way from how I grew up and mentally I still go through it because of it 😢
You got this thing called life💙🤍🙏🏽
I was 6 when this came out. My brother recorded the video of "The Box". As I grew up this song stayed with me and was very impactful on shaping my views of the world. It still hits the same. We from 2 different worlds and this song seems to have the same meaning to us. Love bro
Naughty By Nature - Yoke the Joker. Word play and flow is crazy!
Yes Yoke The Joker must be heard
“O.P.P”, “Hip Hop Hooray”, “It’s On”, “Craziest”, “Feel Me Flow”. And the Eminem favorite “Yoke The Joker”.
Co-sign
@@thatstheguy07 You can definitely see the influence of "Yoke the Joker" throughout Em's career....that was one of the first records I can remember that showcased the use and potential of alliteration rhyming
Add Wickedest Man Alive to that list
You two actually are one of maybe 5 UA-camrs who actually do REACTION videos! You react and go into details about what you just heard/saw and have a conversation. Respect for covering Naughty by Nature! Jersey Represent!!!
That priceless worthless bar was deep… Y’all put it into a new perspective now I’m really thinking about that! Dope break down
Geto boys - Mind is playing tricks on me [explicit] 🔥🔥🔥
Ya'll are making me pull out he catalogue from when you reacted to "Uptown Anthem" So let me drop it again. The NBN catalogue goes like this. --------- Guard your Grill, Everything Gonna be Alright, Written on Ya Kitten, Dirt on my Lonely, Hip Hop Hooray, Feel me flow, O.P.P, Mourn you till I join you, Craziest, It's On, Wickedest Man Alive, 1,2,3. --------- IT seems that Cam and Justo have stumbled again upon one of the most influential hiphop groups and rappers of all time. Trigger Trech aka Treacherous, was a massive influence on Eminem, Jay Z, Big L and so many other rappers. JUST FEEL HIM FLOW.
Y’all literally reacted to uptown anthem previously and gushed over it and then already forgot that was naughty by nature lol
Right!!!
It was one of their five songs ever on the channel judging by reaction and honestly it wasn't that long ago
You just had to be there, bro. The 90’s were a whole different existence. This Era doesn’t just listen to DIFFERENT MUSIC,
they listen to MUSIC DIFFERENTLY.
We could tell you what Album these songs were on, what other tracks were on it, the year and season they dropped.
But the youngins these days know every lyric to a song but couldn’t name the artist.
We remember what was goin on in life when Uptown Anthem dropped. We remember our friends/family’s addresses and phone numbers by heart. They not built like that now.
i LOVE YOU 2 YOUNG KINGS IM 47 AN OLD HEAD I WAS HERE BEFORE HIP HOP REALLY STARTED I LOVE HOW YOU 2 GENTLEMEN ACTUALLY SIT AND LISTEN LIVING IN THE 80'S AND 90'S THIS IS HOW LIFE WAS GROWING UP IN NEW YORK NEW JERSEY STUFF LIKE THAT I REALLY APPRECIATE YOU GUYS WHEN YOU DO OLDER STUFF AND YOU SIT THERE AND DON'T LAUGH AT THE WARDROBE LOL THAT WAS IN BACK THEN LOVE YOU GUYS KEEP SHINING
I really liked your breakdown on this one. This is what every reaction channel should be about!
Treach is such an animal and this song is so good🔥❤
I have to reiterate that NBN (Naughty by Nature) were the hit makers. For 3 straight Summers they had the number one hiphop hit. "O.P.P", "Uptown Anthem", "Hiphop Hooray", "Craziest", "Feel me Flow". ------ Every Summer from 91' to 93' no one could touch these guys. It wasn't unitl Dr Dre came with, "THe Chronic" and that anyone was able to stop their run of dominance on not only the HipHop charts but also the pop charts as well. Plase go back and watch ya'll own reaction to "Uptown Anthem " to feel the impact and impression NBN made on you guys.
Naughty by Nature- Hip Hop Hooray reaction.
Naughty by Nature - craziest ( uncensored video)
Treach was a great story teller. His flow literally gave you substance. It’s great to see you guys finding these gems. Next time hear an “old head” fly off the handle about mumble rap, you’ll now know why. Next up DJ Quick, Jus Lyke Compton
By far my favorite Naughty By Nature song...period!!!
Big pun fast money 🫡
Good job guys I requested this also, you did great especially on a first listen.more Naughty by Nature please, keep doing your thang.
Yoke the Joker is a must!
FEEL ME FLOW & HIP HOP HORRAY - 2 Naughty By Nature classics.
Check out Naughty By Nature "OPP" and "It's On"
The sun never shine of my side of street see ..love that bar
Love Naughty by Nature. I'm around the same age as them. 90s were awesome. Time flew till now lol. I'm currently trying to learn Quebec rap to learn French but love the pacing of rap in general. Story telling is really good too by Naughty by Nature.
Hey Cam and Justo, I am not comparing NBN (Naughty by Nature) to KRS One, but this album is equivalent to the 90's version of "Criminal Minded". We know how ya'll love some KRS One. Tigger Treach is like and updated version of KRS One without copying him, cause back then you couldn't copy another artist and expect to be respected in the hip-hop game. ---- NBN was definitely the biggest group in hiphop for about 4 years and then Nas and Biggie came around. That's why NBN gets lost in the shuffle of hip-hop. ------- That's why we are here to give you the real of how it was back then. ENJOY.
I can identify with every line in this song and I'm a white woman. I just happened to grow up kinda hard. But yeah, every line reflects on some part of my early years.
I was a teenager when they blew up. I have their first two albums on cassette! This song actually makes me tear up, as a person with depression and from a poor family I feel the meaning of the lyrics pretty hard even though the actual life experience is something so divorced from mine. You don't get many expressions of what depression can look like for people who aren't rich or upper middle class white girls. And it's a banger. This song is my favourite on the album, followed by "1, 2, 3".
Such an underrated track, one of my faves
Love this reaction ❤ from Louisiana
Priceless means he is BEYOND price....there is no amount of money that buy the things that she loves about him
Yeah but in the context of the song she also was forced to kick him out because she couldn't afford him. Part of why he at least thought he was worthless.
@@Lord_BibulousTreach's mom had to put him out at 18 being she was on government assistance and he could no longer stay there. She couldn't risk being put out with his younger siblings
YOKE DA JOKER
YOKE DA JOKER
YOKE DA JOKER

YOKE DA JOKER
Young bros keep doing your thing!
Treach top 5 lyricist, believe that!
Let The Ho’s Go by this group is one of the hardest songs they’ve made!!!!!
Heads up one of NBN influences is Grand Puba from the group "Brand Nubian". That rabbit hole can be explored at a later date, since we have so many Naughty tracks to get to. Have fun Ya'll.
I hold this song close to my heart as it rings true to my life growing up. Great reaction video. Treach is a great M.C. and he had a big influence on Eminem as Treach is one of Eminem’s favorite M.C.s of all time.
This is a great song! One of my favorites when it came out. U definitely have to listen to (yoke the joker)!
If it wasnt for bad luck, I would have none
Naughty by Nature-its On crazy flow
They 2 for 2 against y’all so far…..y’all GOTTA do they first hit O.P.P next!! The joint that put them on the map in the first place.💯
The big guy with the braids is highly intelligent and expresses himself very well. He’s articulate, he also mixes slang and proper English like wind and rotation which makes a tornado!!
You all have got to check out KRS-One he specifically rhymes about rhyming for the future ages in his album “Meta-Historical” he’s a Hip Hop philosopher and his nickname is Tha Teacha because he’s always teaching in his rhymes.
I haven't heard this since the 90s. What a great song, I love the part where he says. "They want me to do a positive, but positive isn't where I am from."
Funny when you think about Em being a huge Treach fan and how it shows in Em's lyrics. "Tellin' me to be positive, how am I 'posed to be positive
When I don't see shit positive? You know what I'm sayin'?" If I had by eminem
Classic song! I had this on cassette when it came out and this song was called "Ghetto bastard."
Really? I have it on cassette and it's called "Everything's Gonna Be Alright"
@@SuperDoNotWant They changed the name at a certain point. You can find used copies that still have it listed as "Ghetto Bastard."
Hey, cuz arkansas have some legends and gems that can get with anything you have in mainstream. Just never get the chance like other states now saying that arkansas legend errol Westbrook ft. Blac yungsta ( Whippin it)
This joint is an underrated classic
Y'all gotta do O.P.P
treach is a true lyricist
Naughty is the truth
I've had guns to my head and been in knife and ax fights. I got kicked out by mom because she couldn't afford us. I hid in a shadow that was too small to hide in from a helicopters spot light when I was running from the cops and gunfire when I was 12 years old out jacking stereos. I heard this song when I was 13 and it was my anthem. You don't even know there are white people out there who were in the institutions with you who have dead friends killed by cops who couldn't afford to eat. That was my life, and I don't know why I"m still alive but I am and now shits peacful and I just drink my brew and smoke my brush and remember late at night and bump these old songs.
My first hip hop album purchased and I’m a 46 year old white girl
This song is a 10. It is very hard, very real, and very immortional. Treach went off.
Thanks
