How would I tell if it's something my computer needs

@@thekick101your computer should come with everything it needs already. If something out there is trying to convince you it NEEDS to be on your PC they’re just trying to get your personal information or payment.

i have a question. My nephew think this was legit so he sign in and buy the premium version. He asked me why on his laptop RAV always pop-up a notification that there is a trojan file. I read on reddit. I am legit scared now. Ugggh. how to unisntall it.
And also. If the gmail already used to be sign in and also buy the premium, if i just uninstall the software... Will the gmail, still secured?
Bro calm down, it's just a PUP, potentially unwanted program.
On in short, it's a bloatware failure of a program. Uninstall it.
It's not malware.
it downloaded almost when i got my laptop but i didnt download and when i click open the app on windows defender it sends me to rav what should i do does it safe and needs to stay or should i delete?
ywa
The correct way to remove it is, to go to safe mode and remove all related folders and hope Windows still works.
i download it from a cheat engine set up is it a virus?
no its not.
how do I delete it
in settings
UNINSTALL IMMEDIATELY. Phone number is always going to machine with no call backs. No returns to 25 emails sent!!!!
I DIDN'T DOWNLOAD IT and i have it........
I also didn't download it , I've searched a bit it seems that we've installed another app that has RAV installation within its software so its a PUP (potentially unwanted program) it is just a way for the developers of the app you've downloaded to make extra money you should uninstall it immediately it takes space and CPU usage unless you want it for the antivirus and there is a lot better options out there.
but it isn't malware to be clear but some times actual malware could disguise like RAV so that's another reason to uninstall it.
its stuck on 99%
did you end up removing it, mines stuck on this aswell
@@bananakrusher811it’s spyware it the method shown in the video doesn’t actually delete it, I’ve tried other methods and it has not worked
just wait, that happened to me too but i waited and it's now gone
@@Multide it’s not removed
@@Lol-og9me Then how to remove it? I uninstalled it by the option on my computer bot I saw people that were saying that even after deleting there are still some files left, but I can't find anything on my computer.
friendly fire
is it safe
Rav is not safe
its 100% a virus DO NOT GET IT(i got it and factory reset my pc and it was still there + it is just addware)
no. first off, it gives a ton of false positives. second, it's an adeare like the dude on the top of me said. and third, it slows the hell out of your computer.
@@alduinfr Yes youre exactly right, it was slowing down my browser and even when I tried to screen record it wouldnt work because it would mess with my frames captured
@@alduinfr Well, that's the description of 99% of free antiviruses (not including the system ones) so saying it isn't safe is not appropriate
