@@e1coyoteactive fuel management, they’re like the metal pieces that lift when switching from v8 to 4 cylinder. My fault was not getting warranty after my engine warranty expired at 70k miles. It had 90k when I started getting rough idling, up to a point where it knocked so bad, and when I took it to the shop, they said cam shafts were already badly damaged and new engine was needed.
My husband and I just got a 2018 Escalade premium in black with $50,000 miles. We got the extended premium warranty just so that we don’t have to worry about something going wrong and it being a huge expense. With all the cool features we knew we needed to get that extended warranty. Love love our Escalade 🤩
Great review. Thinking about getting a 2015 and up. Been driving a 2002 Escalade base 6.0 AWD for over 10 years now and just hit 200k miles and its finally starting to feel its age. Still looks good tho! classic trucks!
Congrats! I bought a 2016 Escalade premium back in March. I love the lights in the door handles at night when you unlock the doors with the remote. Funny you mention ford because I came from 2005 explorer to the escalade. Ya boy moved up like the Jeffersons Broham. I try and drive my ish everyday.

2016 Escalade 53,000 miles, only problem was when the windshield got hit with a gulf ball and had to be replaced, the lane keep assist had to be fixed and my DVD player wouldn’t work.
I believe you may have the premium in the series, bc I have the luxury which your’s is a step above mine. The reason i believe it’s a premium is bc your wood grain inside is a step above mines for sure. And the overall features in yours is a step up from the one I have. In two years I’m going to trade up to the 2021 with the panoramic sunroof. Got to have it.

Brought my 2016 esv , with 56k on it , telling you now my ac stop working, dealer fixed it for free , known problem with ac condenser failure, also transmission shutter, dealer also fixed with a transmission flush , under the 70k power train warranty, make sure you get a free flush on them , after 70k that flush is $600 if you out of power train , plus had cue replaced, screen became unresponsive, that was replaced under the platinum warranty, but it would of costed $1200 without warranty, also all four heated seat elements replaced, under warranty , other then that , I spent about $1500 out of pocket on maintenance upkeep , diff ,transfer ,brakes, & all fluids changed and a few other things , now have 72k on it , I love my esv ,

Congrats! On 4/23/2021, I traded a 2021 Lexus GX 460 for a 2018 Escalade Luxury. The Escalade had 43,000 miles at the time. The rear shocks were leaking and were replaced under warranty. I also had an issue with the park assist at slow speeds (less than 5 mph). Also replaced under warranty. So far, I love this vehicle and one of the best that I have ever driven.

I just want to reach out and say never buy cars from Canada or ND its rust buckets. I got one from canada it was the worst exp ever. Check wireless charger, HUD display most common problems when buying used escalade and get warranty for sure.

Was thinking of purchasing a 2015 but with the 6 speed transmission. Any issues with it so far? Back out on my deal due to seeing so many issues with lefters in the 6.2s.
2014 was the last of the 6sp transmission from the 3rd generation Escalade 2007-2014. 2015 thru 2017 has the 8sp transmission. 2018 thru 2020 has the 10sp transmission.
@@kevinpollard141 Not true. the 15’s that came out for the first few months still have the 6 speed. They did a mid year refresh and added the 8 speed and surround cameras system. You can tell by the old caddy symbol and small side mirrors on the early 15’s.
Isn’t that deep box in the middle console a ice chest, mines has a button and it gets cold and becomes a ice chest and the seats have massagers in them and the dealer didn’t think the 2016 had that but it does. 😁
I’d say just to be safe ask who you are insured (GEICO State Farm etc) with if they have a maintenance package. Depending on where you live it’s usually cheap I pay $10 extra and that covers my CADDI from trans to engine and all major components

To early to say in regards to issues. I got the maintenance package for 2500 for 2 years
