Reagan It would be so awesome/cool/funny to see it. (So cool it would make the papers) Andy running with a rubber dinghy. (Reagen) cool/funny challenge. A Sarah/vs Andy 1 mile beech race. Andy and his rubber dinghy. (Has to carry it, not aloud in the water) Who would win, who. 😂 laughing so much, because it would be cool/awesome to see Andy run rubber dinghy.
That's actually a good way to make a run more interesting, I usually zone out on runs and don't notice anything. Also as an Australian it always makes me laugh hearing brits complaining about running in the heat.
I did this a few years ago, in order and at rush hour. Just under 35 miles and seven hours. A fun thing to do - but maybe not at rush hour, on a Friday night :)
I love this channel. I have had so many belly laughs over the years. Running is FUN and serious at the same time! Sarah running inside the train was so hilarious, and Andy's sardonic reaction to the 'get out of jail' card was brilliant.
That was a quality picture used for Andy behind bars, and Sara’s dog must have realised that they were lost because it looked really sad and stopped wagging!
I've been to London once and absolutly loved the city, but with all that heavy traffic and so many tourists I can hardly imagine running there, let alone run and play Monopoly at the same time 😅
That was really fun to watch, bit mean sending Andy to jail 😂 Well done both that must of been very tiring and in the heat too! Great to bring the fun to running 😀👍🏻
Love this idea. I was always the dog and my dad was the ship whenever we played Monopoly. So I'm rooting for you both. Great way to explore London and thanks for sharing the landmarks with us.
I had no idea the dog and ship were related to the game 😁 in the Danish version all players have the same car, but in different colors. Weird thing to change between different country versions.
@@ArthurDentDK thanks for sharing this. I had no idea some other countries didn't have the same pieces. My mum played with the thimble. Such random pieces.
This was absolutely brilliant - I had such a giggle watching! Team 🐶 (sorry Andy!) as Sarah looked like a child on Christmas every time she managed to find something on the board. Well done the both of you for running around London (not an easy feat!) for such a long time, keeping your own spirits up and entertaining us ❤️ TRC has genuinely become my favourite channel, thank you all for working hard 🌻
Sorry Andy but the dog is LITERALLY CHEERING. You can't top a Cheering dog. "That was this little guy's first tube ride"!--fav line. Also your monopoly board is different than mine (New York city based). So I'm fascinated by that alone. Thanks for the London tour. Cheers from Austin Texas USA.
Loved Sarah's dog flapping arms like Kermit the Frog! Great video - how about something that follows the London marathon route but pauses to focus on the historical significance of certain areas. This could be a relay involving all the presenters to keep it manageable
Thx for the great video, loved watching this challenge so cool. In France not such a nice program as yours keep it up, i like your videos THX :), I am for #teamboat.
2 years later...Nice germ of an idea. I may one day borrow the general contours, but make it more like the board game. Start at one of the four stations, and you can either hop onto a train or start racing for the nearby properties (you can take a train any time you're at a station). Collect a pair or triple, and you start earning points. First player to the property gets it. You can trade properties with other players. Once you get a pair/triple, bucks start accruing--more for Park Place/Boardwalk than for Mediterranean/Baltic. Game ends when the last property is nabbed.
Great idea! And it's interesting to see the streets on the U.K. Monopoly board (the original U.S. one is based on the streets of Atlantic City, NJ). What a great way to tour one of the world's most fascinating cities.
The Dutch board takes streets from all different cities. Every colour is a different city all across the country! Would be a serious challenge to run 'm all...😅
Thankyou for the quick tour. I haven’t been to London for a very long time, so great to see you guys ‘enjoying’ yourselves and also entertaining us all.
Thank you ( again ) for the inspiration. We got our own version of Monopoly in Denmark and just sitting this moment and planning to run all the squares and roads of that board game. Keep up the good work.
I love Sarah's little doggo, it's like it's waving hi - I think it was having the most fun to be honest! Bit torn between the teams as I loved the dog but felt really bad for Andy getting so much 'bad luck' at the start! I loved the suspense when Andy got that out of jail card ;)
Very fun video. Team Boat all the way. On a more “running-wise” perspective, interesting to notice the breathing differences between an average runner and an Olympian
Back in 2014, UA-cam met the London Tube when videos like the one above (Mansion House to Cannon Street) racked up millions of views. But did you know the idea was originally conceived by a commuter called Richard Guthrie in 1999? Guthrie was talking to a friend about Roger Bannister’s four-minute mile, and whether they could come up with a city-based alternative, and Race The Tube was born. They settled on a one-and-a-half mile, four-station dash against the train along the District Line. To take on the challenge, runners must leap through the train doors at South Kensington and sprint to Fulham Broadway. The rules specify it has to be done in rush hour (mainly because the tube runs slower at peak time, and with 27 roads to cross in less than nine-and-a-half minutes, it’s no mean feat to beat the train.
I really enjoyed this episode and waffled back and forth on whether I was Team Dog or Team Boat. In the end it came down to whoever was on screen I think. Both did a great job!
That was so much fun to watch! I’ve never been to London and it was fun to see a tour! I’d love to see a running bingo game, either with challenges or gear. Everyone participating gets a different board and a text with the square. You have 20 minutes or so to either complete the challenge or find the required gear before the next number is called. Failure to complete your challenge or find your gear in the allotted time means you forfeit your square!
Best tour guides ever!! What a fun challenge!! I have not been running due to an injury and just about to see if I am able to run again and the goody bag would be a good help and drive!!
This is such a good idea for runs (or cycles in some cities) that can be re-used internationally by runners and racers! There are so many events that are novelty or fun runs, I think the London Monopoly Race #LMR should definitely be made a thing!
Definitely #teamdog. Loved watching it bounce around London with Sarah. This is a great idea for a running tour of London. I think if I was going to do it though I'd break it up into two days running.
This was a great challenge, I laughed out loud so many times especially when Andy🛥 #teamboat was given the get out of jail card! 🤣London looks beautiful. Go #teamdog. 🐶
Would you take on the Monopoly challenge? Are you #teamboat or #teamdog? Let us know in the comments below!
#teamdog, of course. Both the runner and the mascot are cuter...
Team dog
#teamdog because Sarah carried a cute dog the whole time but Andy only showed his boat right at the end.
Team dog!! Love her
Sorry Andy, I voted for team ‘dog’. Come on Sarah 😊🏃♀️
Sarah's little mascot flopping around is hilarious!
Hehe thanks! 🐶
#teamdog
Andy
Should have worn a rubber dinghy for it.
@@andyclark8991 Yes that would have been so funny... Although perhaps a little but hard to run with!
Reagan
It would be so awesome/cool/funny to see it.
(So cool it would make the papers) Andy running with a rubber dinghy.
(Reagen) cool/funny challenge.
A Sarah/vs Andy 1 mile beech race.
Andy and his rubber dinghy. (Has to carry it, not aloud in the water)
Who would win, who.
😂 laughing so much, because it would be cool/awesome to see Andy run rubber dinghy.
We loved this! Sarah’s wee dog cheering her on the whole way 😂
That was a great video and something I need to put on my bucket list. Sarah's dog being in party mode the whole time was the icing on the cake.
That little stuffed dog living his best life absolutely made this 😂😂
Great video, would love to do this! My sense of direction is appalling though 😬
Love the relatability of them both getting genuinely cross at points. Excellent efforts all round!
Getting lost in London can be quite frustrating! 😂
That's actually a good way to make a run more interesting, I usually zone out on runs and don't notice anything.
Also as an Australian it always makes me laugh hearing brits complaining about running in the heat.
This looks like a fun challenge. The city where I work recently put out its own Monopoly board, and I'm tempted to give it a try.
I did this a few years ago, in order and at rush hour. Just under 35 miles and seven hours. A fun thing to do - but maybe not at rush hour, on a Friday night :)
Haha wow that sounds intense!
They didn't name Jim manly for nowt
I love this channel. I have had so many belly laughs over the years. Running is FUN and serious at the same time! Sarah running inside the train was so hilarious, and Andy's sardonic reaction to the 'get out of jail' card was brilliant.
Amazing, we're glad you enjoyed William!
I've never been to the UK, so it was really cool to see part of it in this video! Well done guys thanks for sharing
Glad you enjoyed it!
That was a quality picture used for Andy behind bars, and Sara’s dog must have realised that they were lost because it looked really sad and stopped wagging!
I've been to London once and absolutly loved the city, but with all that heavy traffic and so many tourists I can hardly imagine running there, let alone run and play Monopoly at the same time 😅
Definitely running with a stuffed dog from now on.
It would be the dog running and me stuffed....
That was really fun to watch, bit mean sending Andy to jail 😂 Well done both that must of been very tiring and in the heat too! Great to bring the fun to running 😀👍🏻
i love how sarahs dog is bouncing All Over The Place hahah

It's our pleasure! Thank you for watching 😁
Hard choice but have to go for team “under dog” 🐶 lol
10 minutes in and I still cannot get over the doggo , cheering / flopping his arms around - it's just amazing 🙂🐶🐕
Glad you enjoyed it 😊
Sarah's bear bouncing around is so funny... I might take one along for my next run. I'm still laughing. Awesome video.
He stole the show for sure, its the waving arms that got me lol
Haha glad you liked it! What shall we name him?
Loved this challenge! I'm picking up some great ideas for our Scouts.
This makes me miss London even more than I already did. Can't wait till I can get back there, hopefully running the marathon.
Thanks for watching Stuart! Hopefully we can all travel again soon 😊

Thanks so much for watching! Would you like us to come and do the New York board next?
@@runningchannel I'd watch that! I think you all would have a blast!
@@runningchannel I bet Austin Texas has a Monopoly board... you should come out our way!
I wish youd done this with rolling dice and each of them had to get around the board with a different route, depending on their rolls
Thanks for the suggestion Ankh!
Loved Sarah's dog flapping arms like Kermit the Frog! Great video - how about something that follows the London marathon route but pauses to focus on the historical significance of certain areas. This could be a relay involving all the presenters to keep it manageable
I would love to have supported team boat, but the boat just wasnt waving at me enough.
And another thing. Why was there no 'Team Iron'?
Your head to head videos are just the best! Competition that is light hearted and fun :)
Loving how creative these challenges are getting.
I love when you guys do these challenges. Can't wait until Rick can go up against Anna again.
Never realized different countries monopolies have diffrent street names

I love this idea wish I have someone to do this with!
Meee ✋✋✋ 🤣😂😁
Those cards were a great idea - also considering now to add a cheering dog to my running equipment, might be quite helpful in those long runs.
well today I learned Britain has a different monopoly board places.
Editing was great on this video! very entertaining, and another competition? yay! Count me in
Thanks so much Carolina! 😃
when are they going to make a millennial monopoly board where you just walk around renting everything cos you bought too many avocados to buy… 🥑😅
We need to see Anna and Rick challenging each other for this. Maybe with a few twists fir them!
Loved the Team Dog mascot, so cute with the arms flapping and the occasion escape of a leg 😂😂😂
that was so fun! love the dog cheering Sarah on! haha
Loved this! Such a great challenge. #teamdog all the way! How can you not love him cheering Sarah on all the way round 🐶
Cool idea for any running club to run various landmarks in a town. Love this challenge!
Loved this! Two of my favourite things. Running and monopoly. I can't cheat at running though 😂😂

Very impressed #teamboat pulled it off despite getting locked in the tower! Looks like a lot of fun - in a slightly weird way!
Sarah, such a great addition to the team!
The little dog mascot just looks so funny, and also like a personal cheerleader. #teamdog all the way!
Loved this. Love the Sarah content too for those ‘average runners’ like me!
LOVE THESE KINDS OF VIDEOS!!!

The dog looks an awful lot like snowy from the Tintin and snowy comics. And it's so cute how he keeps cheering with every step Sarah takes.

The little dog bouncing about is hilarious :-)
Little doggie flopping around is hilarious! 😂 Real monopoly marathon around London is an awesome idea! What fun! 👌
Good luck trying to find Free Parking in London!
Need the Villain Anna on these challenges again. No need to be on a bike. Just be villain again :))
Haha great suggestion thanks!

I really like this challenge. Hard enough to equalize different fitness levels
I like the entertaining scavenger style of the monopoly board. Team dog, obviously. #teamdog
Oh my gosh!!! That looked SOOOO fun!!!
An idea… maybe the game Sorry or Trouble in some way where you bump each other off course/back to start?!
The dog is the underrated star of this video. Living his best life and cheering Sarah on! 😂
t-minus eight weeks until my first half marathon! love your videos, they're super motivating!

That was epic! So fun. Loved it. Wonder if that’s possible in New York City for the US version of Monopoly
Such fun! Team dog woof! Loved seeing the bits of the City I usually work in, but haven’t been to for the last 16 months
Loved watching this challenge! - team dog for me! (But I think you’re fab Andy too!😁)
Well done Sarah and Andy! Great challenge. Great video! A whole new meaning to a London marathon!
This is brilliant!! You’ve given me an amazing idea for my VLM fundraising! Thanks guys
Third running channel video in a row. Have entered a UA-cam Sunday morning vortex. Great video 👍
These videos lately are absolutely brilliant!
I had no idea Tower Bridge was so pretty! I also had no idea Andy had that kind of endurance in him. Good on him for his 16.5 miles 🚲
Sarah is a great addition to the running channel team 👏👍🏻😀
I know we have lots of time left in the year but Sarah's dog taking its first tube ride has to be among the best moments of the year. #teamdog
Yay! I enjoy watching these challenge videos! They look like so much fun!
Looks like so much fun! Especially with the chance and community chest cards in play!
Wow!! what an interesting challenge. I am going to build a Singapore version of this and challenge my friends haha :)
Great video guys! You’ve inspired me to try this for one of my Sunday Long Runs

#TeamDog! Go Sarah! This was a super fun one. Made me want to make one up for San Francisco.
This was a great challenge, I laughed out loud so many times especially when Andy🛥 #teamboat was given the get out of jail card! 🤣London looks beautiful. Go #teamdog. 🐶
This is such a good idea. Will definitely be giving this challenge a try in the future!
Running through cities is one of the sketchiest skills I've learned this year
