Totally agreed, when I was young and immature I was at a Falling In Reverse/Atreyu show and Atreyu played their whole set but afterwards all of the members of FIR came onstage and announced Ronnie had become sick to the point of not being able to play well enough so they canceled the show and a lot of people in the crowd threw their drinks at the FIR members including myself, which I fully regret

I met Corey Taylor about seven years ago he was the nicest guy I’ve ever met in music love that guy so MGK has everything coming to him for opening his mouth with lies🤣👍🏽🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
I met Corey once in Seattle.... it's been a long time now, before they actually really blew up and he was the nicest guy he sat there and talked to all of his fans, there was about 20 of us surrounded him and he just sat and bullshitted with each and every one of us, I'd say he was out there for a good hour-hour and a half.... hell of a nice guy.
That same show mudvayne opened up for them, and nobody knew who mudvayne was.
I went home telling my band memes about this new band mudvayne and about 8 months later MTV released the video dig and I was like to my band members look look that's those guys I told you about.
One of the best shows I have ever seen.

Was there that night to see the headliner of Aftershock, the misfits which was amazing by the way. mostly everyone it seemed like didn’t want MGK to be there, people booing left and right. During MGK’s set it was dead silent… never seen a crowd that quiet before it was kinda sad. Gojira was set to play after MGK but the majority of all the watchers were gathering to see them instead of go watch Kelly… was really embarrassed
I wasn't able to see the misfits but I saw metallic and some of MGK and MGKs show was HILARIOUS there was so many people flipping him off

@G MONEY I was a working musician here in Sac 80s-00s and the crowds here are the worst. If you can manage to attract a crowd that is. Out of town gigs were a much better experience overall.

I was at Aftershock , he started the show about 10 minutes late and his video for his entrance started with something along the lines of where is this and some other insults to the crowd. So he knew the crowd was gonna have a bad reaction to him.

I get it, but like other bands that do it are usually large bands. MGK has a singular album that was "successful" while the Knot has multiple. Be an actual long time veteran of the scene before you talk shit to a band thats been around for 20 plus years. Thats the way i see it anyway

I was there. I am very ashamed to be part of this community right now. We are grown.. some of us with wives and children of our own. I don’t understand what you get from throwing things at an artist which all of the things thrown missed and harmed some inocent people. I was next to a lady that got a bloody nose from a shoe thrown. There were kids there excited to see MGK. And all though I don’t care for the guy at all.. how are we going to crate a toxic environment for those kids/teens there? We are better than this.
