I think from the height of my "i've never played SAP in my life just watched video form this channel" that NL is disrespecting the blue fish, if levelled up it's 12golds of stats, a better and bluer snail, a magnificent and brave creature.
You have to buy 6 fish to get those stats so it costs 18 gold. Plus some shops will just never give you the full pay out so stopping at level 2 is usually smarter.

Strange how NL was so morally opposed to taking turkey tiger fly (which was never even that good because you had to pivot 60% of your team in the mid-late game) but has zero qualms with running a rooster in practically every game
"Turkey Tiger Fly" was never that good is an insane take, they literally nerfed 2/3rds of that combo solely bc it was so oppressive. Nowadays it's definitely worse but at its peak it was just mathematically the best team comp.

It was a very good synergy but also hard to pull off because, like I said, you need to pivot more than half your team at round 10, which is heavily luck-based: without all 3 animals, you're fucked. At that point an equally good strategy was just to keep your good units. "They nerfed it" isn't proof that it was OP. They nerfed it because people like NL were vocal about it. The developer has acknowledged he's not that good at balancing. Overpoweredness is not just dependent on the strength of the synergy, but also how likely you can achieve the synergy.
I can’t help but think that for the last fight he put the thumbnail for the recommended video on purpose there so we can’t see the enemy team and it honestly makes me sick. You did this to me, Ryan!

I had a similar problem. Wide scaling is key now. Before one good unit scaling was all you needed.
Ever since he got to see that tier list of tier 1 that is good from round 1-3, he won a lot of early rounds.
