Dkayed with the best deck I've seen out of all the ones released. Everybody else just playing Dogmatika version and Dkayed sweeps the floor on rated ranking. That's incredible.
This is the stronger deck, because the Spright / Yubel / Sacred Beast cards are individually strong - but this is just a much worse version of Spright. It’s an 8 card package, with cards ranging to decent (ie. Souls/IoC) to cards that do nothing going 2nd when you can’t establish Dogra (ie the fusion stuff), plus you’re dedicating additional non-engine slots to thrust when spright generally prefers having handtraps to back up its boards. Magia is a strong payoff, but if you’re running Dogra you could just play a Shadoll package that requires 1 maindeck slot and doesn’t force you to hard-draw an additional combo piece - even then, there’s a reason why Spright don’t bother playing that (Dogra is too clunky and it forces you down a tunnel in an otherwise flexible deck). The Dogmatika brews are weaker because it’s built on the foundation of a lower powered deck, but Magia is actually a much more valuable payoff for the strategy. The deck doesn’t otherwise have access to in-archetype s/t negation, and the 1-turn-delay on summoning a boss monster is perfectly fine in a control deck that aims to slow the game down anyway. It’s also much more viable going 2nd - if Spright are in a position where they resolve Gigantic to search Dogra on turn 2, they were already winning that game, whereas Dogmatika have plenty of ways to bin cards from the ED, and most of them can’t be stopped by removal the same why the Spright stuff can. It depends if you want to play a worse version of the overall much better deck, or an interesting and viable alternative build of a fairly mid strategy.

My point was that there already exists a combo that uses Dogra in spright to summon a high-impact endboard piece the following turn, but nobody plays it because it isn’t good or necessary. Sure, Magia is better than Winda, but it doesn’t require a tonne of bricks, and you don’t have to hard-draw into the other half of the combo for it to work.
The fact that you show us each card from the decklist while explaining the combos is peak content. As a blue eyes user, I cant wait for the new support, hoping this makes it meta again but I truly enjoyed this video showing me another way to get Magia out.
Love this video! Meta weekly is something I look forward to each week, but this type of deck profile was what originally caught my attention and made me become a Dkayed fan and begin to actually play Master duel. Excellent results with the deck too, keep up the great work!

Running this deck with dogmatika, nadir servant and fusion armament cards makes it more easy to summon in case my opponent messes up my other fusion summon options xD
Chicken game works well in this deck too it protects you from death (lower lp than opponents) but you can still kill with Magia bc he can otk while your lp are still lower than opponents, also plays into magicians souls where you can out chicken game for an extra draw

I don’t understand how this has such a high win rate, idk if I’m just not understanding it, but literally if you don’t summon the boss monster your first turn and you take any sort of damage you lost
What if you didn't have at least one of these in your hand: Magician's souls Illusion of chaos Ultimate fusion Necro fusion Gale dogra would be activated twice, which is -6000 LP, then you would also activate Verte, which is another -2000 LP, you don't have enough LP to summon Magia. CMIIW.
The answer to this question is you don't go for mag it be better to end on a sprite stun board then burning all your lp waiting till you draw one of the 8 cards you need for mag. This is the argument for dogmatic version because they can always get the material in the grave but they get hit by hand traps even more
this deck is epic. it’s so simple to understand and somehow super strong. this is what years of deck building experience gets you; being able to build a version of the deck that plays through so much disruption 😂
Of course Dkayed would come up with the most legit way to summon Magia. Very nice. To answer your question about the Purrely pet, it feels like its motivates me to deal with whatever crap im about to face

I just been running rhe normal dark magician deck with 3 fusion armament, and i summon master dragon usually 1/3 out of duels. Im like being oike yugi lol
This deck is great, but a couple things are stumping me: 1. Why does magician’s souls (when used to get IoC) sometimes allow you to special summon it (first effect) and other times not? Can’t figure out what is restricting it. 2. Verte anaconda makes zero sense. I had BEUD in GY and IoC in hand, summoned VA, 5000 LP, but could not activate the UF from the deck. I had the materials and the LP, so why wouldn’t it work? 3. First turn, have UF and IoC in hand, use GS + Dogra to send BEUD to GY, but UF doesn’t light up as useable until next turn. Why? Any help is appreciated!
I made the deck and also saw some flaws that you would have to work around. 1. Spright limits your special summons to link/rank 2 cards(if you used Gigantic spright abilities). 2. Yubel would sometime interrupt or mess up the spright engine(which you mostly need to bring out Magia) but It does give good defense/support of brick first hand 3. The fusion cards and effect works under certain conditions and not paying attention would cause you to brick the ending of your combos(sometimes timing out, because you try to make the connection to magia but forgotten that spright engine is a 2 rank/link engine). Best example is with necro fusion, sometimes even on your opponent’s turn it won’t activate its effect. It’s fun to play but if your not mindful of spright limitations the deck will brick Edit: also if you don’t pay attention your LP will vanish, opening you to ez loss if you brick the combo
when you use the effects of gigantic spright, it locks you to level 2 monsters only, thus disabling your anaconda's effects. same thing when you use spright starter, it immediately locks you to level 2 monsters only.
Ya in my playing of the deck you just have to be mindful to lean into necro fusion more then ultimat fusion and I'd say 90 percent of the time your making the guy on your opponents draw phase
After playing this deck to climb diamond rank, I think avramax would suit the best since your lp is low and controlling elf in attack position would be an easy lethal

Ok so I’ve played 30 duels in play V with this deck and I haven’t been able to summon Magia once 😐 I just get hand trapped to hell or can’t find the fusion spells
Interesting deck but please can you help me try to finally make Black Luster Soldier playable thanks to Magia? I only found Predaplant package to add 1 fusion spell (Poly/Ultimate fusion/Fusion armament) and then either make - Invoker->Goblindeberg->Isolde to add BLS ritual or - make Verte and then Bystials for free bodies/banish little BLS to get ritual monster/spell and King swamp to add Poly/act as substitute, but it's not enough 😔

Sidenote: As this is technically a Blue-Eyes card, imagine if it actually came out with the Blue-Eyes support it was supposed to come out with. It'd make that archetype cometitively viable. Just those 4 little cards... the new maiden retrain, the level 12 synchro, and the 2 spells...

I feel you bro. I deleted my first account that has swordsoul deck or rather created a new coz i cant complete this dkayed version of magia in the first acct due to lack of gems. Now in my 2nd acct (currently plat 1), im using this magia deck. So far this deck still loses to yubel which i encounter a lot in platinum rank. But still im very happy to play this deck since my swordsoul deck only reach plat 3 hahah

I'm guessing your doing the click yes turbo then because having a psudo omni negate and if you want more you have red and carot. But if you shot gun it on the baits well you are just going to lose to board breakers

@@maunabesanika I am experimenting with Virtual World Magia atm and my best end board so far was Magia,Baronne,Shenshen,Chuche,Armored Lancer+Armored XYZ trap in grave seems broken....but it requires a very strong opening hand so its not really worth it unless I can figure out a way to improve its consistency

Same here, dark magician deck with 3 armaments and also Timaeus is easily searchable and can fusion summon Magia as well

Dogmatika can also super easy play through 2 imperms, because you summon iblee onto their field and they can't even activate it LOL
i cooked up a blue eyes dogmatika version and i have been having very good success.. but this is a version i wasnt expecting. i like it, may try soon!
I use 2 ultimate fusions and 2 greater polys. The greater poly gives it card immunity and piercing. Fun to use on BEUD.

You might activate Spright Starter or Gigantic Spright’s effect before in the same turn. It limits the summon only for Level/Rank/Link 2.

He means if you actually buy the real card to participate on real life tournaments. In MD you can craft Magia with just 30 gems

I'm guessing your doing the click yes turbo then because having a psudo omni negate and if you want more you have red and carot. But if you shot gun it on the baits well you are just going to lose to board breakers

Side note you can actuvate illusion get souls and just ditch them both to the grave even if you activate gigantic its nice to mill

seems broken....but it requires a very strong opening hand so its not really worth it unless I can figure out a way to improve its consistency
