As an M4 owner, I don't like this car, the reason I don't buy an M6 is because I don't like to pay for the extra weight, the standard M4 is elegant and practical, it is the best in its kind. But with this price tag, this track toy car is not fastest in its class and not elegant, and the most important is I have to pay for the extra because without back seat, it seems like the car doesn't need this much of space in the back and in the trunk, I believe they should put those technology in M2 and make an M2 GTS, and if I have the money to buy an M4 GTS, I would probably buy a Porsche 911 which is smaller and there is less unnecessary volume in the back, or an M4 and rest of money go to investment and years later I could get a Ferrari or McLean.

It's not about that bud. You can buy a focus ST and make it faster than an RS. It will never be an RS. Ever. People buying this are buying it cos there will only ever be 700 of them. They are investing.

Very special car, the first few meters a M4 GTS you will feel its special and give racecar feel, way more than many other cars that cost more and lap slower. Its very, very well priced. Its accually cheep. It will take a while but most will understand it was cheep and not at all expencive.

Have to remember that those carbon wheels are on the gt350r not the standard gt350 it's about a 10k-15k upgrade package witch includes the carbon wheels and a few aero pieces so it's basically the same thing

I want to see how this car does against the competition, I want to see some numbers. I think Motortrend has spoiled me. Anyways I think they are doing best drivers cars and the M4 is going to be tested along some great competition like the GT350R and the Camaro 1le. It's going to be interesting to see how much faster both the 1le and the GTS are against each other since we now know that the M4 barely edges the 2016 Camaro SS.

Kelveron For the money you are spending it's not even close to worth the price. A Z06 would smash this car as would a Viper. Both of which are cheaper. The only reason it costs so much is because it's a limited edition M. At some point you have to ask yourself, "Is the extra money you're spending really worth the name?" I'm speaking in terms of pure performance. At this point by a stock M4 and spend the rest on improving performance your car will come out wayyyyyyyyyyyyy faster than this car.
saw one parked randomly in my hometown 1or 2 months ago (Germany) its in my Opinion the first car which looks better on pictures and videos ^^ (not to say it looks bad tho) cool car anyway
the M4 gts is only .4 seconds slower than a 991 gt3 around hockenheim. (source: Sport Auto Track battle) and as for the AMG GTs it's 7 seconds faster than that around the ring. I would still rather have a 991 GT3, and I agree that the RS is in another league from the M4 gts
Kaisuke971 amg gts is an extremely fast car no matter how many retarded abreviations you use to describe it.It has 'only' 503hp and it's a heavy gt car,yet it punches above its weight, it should be in the same region as v f type's and v12 vantage's etc but is closer to the performance of the gt3 and m4 gts than it is to its rival gt cars.

The limit at the moment being an F1 car, the M4 GTS is nowhere near the limit.
Water injection isn't complicated at all, and its been around since the early 1960s. Probably just needed this long to be fine tuned for a road car.
They put 20” front & rear on the M4 GTS but 19” front & 20” rear on the CS🤔
considering the lack of practicality and the price you might as well have a proper sports car. I think a Jaguar f-type svr is about 120k ish.

markup included a GT3rs is $250k whereas an M4 GTS is $175k so value per dollar the M4 gts stands a chance, overall GT3rs all day
