love how I always see people recommending more Karnivool songs and I'm sitting here like "hell yeah they definitely need to do that song too....and that one...and that one too"
Excellent requests. Two completely different song styles that show how versatile Karnivool is. You might especially like Lifelike, one of their early nu-metal songs. Edit: Karnivool is: Ian "Kenny" Kenny - vocals Drew Goddard - lead guitars Mark "Hoss" Hosking - guitars, (the 'beautiful' tapping solo) Jon Stockman - bass Steve Judd - drums
If you like these guys check out the lead singers other band "Birds of Tokyo". Different style but a great listen. Also be sure to check out "Cog" and "The Butterfly Effect" from Australia
Just found your guys channel but I agree with what you were saying, this song is an experience, its an emotional rollercoaster, starting with the simplistic guitar and vocals, building to what you think is a heavy part, then cutting back and letting the bass and drums groove for a bit with the vocals floating over the top then building again to the heavy part then cutting back and just grooving out the ending, its such a beautiful masterpiece of a song
Great reaction guys, one if my fav bands. Any song of theirs is worthy of a reaction. Try something nobody has reacted to from them, like Mauseum, fear of the sky or even set fire to the hive. Cheers
Karnivool are a band that exploded in this Aussie scene of prog/alt rock during the 2000's. Cog are the "grandfather's" of this scene, criminally unknown band outside of Australia that never took off because at their peak the singer/guitarist quit to be with his young family... respect. A few other very good bands in this era were The Butterfly Effect, Dead Letter Circus, Birds of Tokyo (the Karnivool singers other band) and maybe Twelve Foot Ninja also. I would highly recommend checking all these bands out, especially Cog.
Can’t go wrong with this album front to back - one of the best.
Two sings from Karnivool you HAVE to check out - "C.O.T.E" and "Set Fire To The Hive". Absolute bangers. Proud Aussie right here.
So surprised I never see Set Fire to the Hive reactions, that song is awesome!
I keep recommending Cog like a crazy person! Lol

COTE is still the quintessential Karnivool song. It might not be their best song but it's their sound distilled into 5 minutes
Front to back one of the best albums of all time! Absolutely amazing musicianship 👌👌🤘
All I Know is another brilliant song off this album from Karnivool.
I was at the concert when they first ever played this live, before the album was released. The crowd was hypnotized and elated.

Just on of the greatest albums every composed, in any genre.
Change, New Day & Deadman. Those 3 songs, let alone the whole album, helped me more than therapy

So yeah I was lucky enough to see these guys live on this particular tour. Fucking incredible.
Their music reminds me if Aliens were to come down and visit they would be rocking Karnivool.
further recomendations: "deadman", "cote", or my personal fave "the refusal"
Almost forgot about this song. It's epic. My good friend that no longer is with us loved this song! Brings back memories...

2 Vool reactions in 1 day..🤘👍
I love the women! She’s literally feels every little bit straight up! Love both your reactions but she’s definitely more in tune off the bat!
Australians put importance on this
My sister called me once on a drinking sesh in Perth to introduce me to the singer and drummer. Random

Naming the Elephant by Cog was a real eye opener when me and my mates got our p's and started driving around.
