Even though the theme is amazing - let's be real, the incantations are mediocre (or bad) and therefore you will be an underdog most of the time (at least against 3 enemies which I prefer the most and look for). I allowed myself to add Elden Stars for a bit of distraction and AoW - can't play with slow single target spells vs group of 3 all the time. And yes, first time higher than RL 150!
Thorns and Bloom aren't the only incants that are pretty bad or just bugged: Furious Blade of Ansbach doesn't build up bleed, Ghostflame Breath being the weaker version of Frost Breath, Watchful Spirits being the weaker version of Ancient Death Rancor, Divine Bird Feathers dealing damage comparable to being tickled by a feather, and Rain of Fire being the worst incant of them all with it's long cast time and weak damage that can't even kill squirrels, birds, and goats. From needs to fix the bugs/buff these incants if possible, cuz they really look cool but their shortcomings make a lot of people avoid them.
Edit: Genius play with the elevator kills btw, might wanna use this build in my STR character
I don't think Watchful Spirit is supposed to be as strong as Ancient Death Rancor. These comparisons are really dumb.
@@portalmanHUN Be it Ancient Death Rancor or just Rancorcall, Watchful Spirits is so bad compared to them. It has the same properties like the 2 other spells mentioned (slow-moving and tracking), but it's travel speed is way too slow and it's tracking is just god awful. Sure maybe it's not suppose to be as strong as the other 2, but it is just a really bad incantation overall and needs to be buffed.
It's almost a meme that FromSoft creates some inexplicably terrible items and spells compared to others in every game. I do hope they fix Anbach's spell though.

A tip that might help finish off summons is to put the smithscript dagger in ur right/left hand 2 slot for cheeky dagger throws. If you could spare the equipload ofcourse
Often I try to be as themed as possible which is why I leave builds where they are, but that would indeed be a nice way to get the last hits!

Dude I love your videos so much. We play the game the exact same way! I make a versatile build (str/faith, quality, dex/faith, or dex/arcane) and just squeeze as many cosplays as I can out of the build before using a larval tear.
Best way to invade imo, every day is new and my fashion is peak (as is yours). Fuck min maxing

Just so you know, iirc the new crucible knight’s helmet from the dlc boosts the crucible incantations
The base game crucible armor also does that, the difference is that the new helmet also boosts crucible ashes of war where the base game armor doesn't

great video! i like the higher lvl also. i like playing @150, 200, 300+ builds. each level brings something different.
I agree but this will probably be the only one at higher level than 150 🙂 just because I am afraid not finding invasions when player move on to other games.

I really like the Wings AOW, but I feel it just isn't very strong compared to so many other AOWs we got. I wish it gave you more height at least so you could better avoid attacks and counter attack with the dive.
Still, it's very stylish and hurts pretty decently. Oddly I heard Thorns was super good, but I think that was more so for pvp.
Try the ash of war on a twinblade
I know they said they won't make another dlc for this game...but they do, I want to get the frog tongue and panther pounce as an incantation
I know the video’s already done and uploaded, but put the Aspect of Wings on a twinblade and see if you like it
I tried it out before starting the build, the scaling was better with Gargoyles so I went with it. The movement is good though, probably hitting more constant!
Awesome build! I always dreamed of this especially when I saw the wing ability in the trailer. But I ended up doing other builds.

Unlocking the spell does, indeed, allow you to mix it up like this.
Yeah but still takes a while to come out and it’s random hits makes it miss enemies, even if they don’t try to dodge it. Needs to add additional lasers that has REALLY good tracking to be useful
Just use Night Maidens mist for area denial.

I will never understand why most players think controller is the only way, I never tested it though so I can't compare 🙂 K&M feels very right to me! How to you freeaim fireballs with controller for example? I can't imagine.

If they gave all the crucible incantations hyper armor while charging up, then all of them being slow and telegraphed can be justified. Really wish they didn’t suck and were niche

I tried the same but with a gargoyle twin blade. The ash of war varies in twinblade with different animation. More hitboxes
True, but worse scaling (=less damage). I like the animation a lot though, it is strong.

Ive been watching ur vids since the dlc came out and seen u already did dragon communion invasions but i wanted to know if you could try to do dragon communion invasions with rock heart form?
I've been using a build with it and would love to see how well someone very experienced with invasions will find it be in invasions. 🙏

What's your experience with level 175? I've tried myself to go no further than 168 following some advice online so I can catch lvl 150 players... I understand it's frustrating if your build is difficult to polish if that's not enough
To be fair though the level 150 advice is due to people naturally ending at that level when progressing through the main game, but perhaps, some adjustments are needed for the DLC, I dunno.
I have a pretty good experience with the level right now but this will be my only char out of 10 at that level. I leveled my 125 to 175, kept 8 x 150 and 1 at 100.
I have a question. Is there a particular reason you chose the gargoyle’s great over other greatswords for this ? Is it mainly for esthetic purposes ? Would knight’s greatsword work as well ?

I actually always considered it the strongest of the crucible spell (which doesn't mean much since they all are mid-bad :( )

It feels a bit different but I can't point my finger exactly at what it is yet. Activity is okay (for now, will be less when playercount drops). But I like the extra 25 points to spend!
Orducis sword is just so much better than the hammer.
Better skill dmg , moveset and overall acallings.
ARROws reach talisman buffs bloom incant and makes it so much better :0 love u

Love seeing the wins and people getting tanked but it's always nice to see some losses too...
I’m pretty sure he has way more losses than victories, it comes with the territory. People who like to invade come and watch these videos for the inspiration.
Way more losses than victories? Pretty ignorant statement since it actually depends on the build. Godskin Apostle build, Horned Warrior and some other weak builds very like got me more losses indeed. Gravity Sorcery, Pyro, Death Sorcery and others are easily more wins than losses.

I have over 600hrs in co-op and I can tell you A veteran gank squad is very hard to beat, and I’m sure Chase runs into his fair share of them. It doesn’t matter what an Invader’s build is against 3 competent players who sit around luring in Invaders.
I’ve been summoned by 2 member gank squads who are just as intuitive and creative as Chase and those guys don’t lose often. It’s insane.

Why do you waste a talisman slot with the radagon one? If you have max dex you dont need it. Just lvl up bro dont be lazy 😂
Not everybody wants or needs to min max. Beside rune level 175-150 is the best for invasions
I still want to find invasions when player count drops. Also most enemies you face are the same level and have the same conditions, so the talisman-slot is not wasted.
