Can atem tv HD connected to laptop using sdi to hdmi converter + video capture? I mean SDI output - - SDI cable - - - blackmagic SDI to HDMI converter - - HDMI cable--HDMi usb video capture
Your setup idea looks workable, is this for a livestream setup? If so I would recommend reducing the connections and getting the new Blackmagic Web Presenter HD, it will reduce the processing load on your laptop and would be more stable. I explained the setup here: ua-cam.com/video/yIiQH3xzv_o/v-deo.html you would only need an SDI cable from the ATEM and then a USB 2.0 cable to your laptop
@@KomuFrank yes, it's for live streaming set up. I found black magic presenter is to pricey for me. Actually I have ultrastudio mini recorder that connected to thunderbolt, but I only can use it for full HD 25p. Anyway thanks for the info, very helpful.

Does the usb connection on the back of the studio hd allow for you to use it like a capture card on a computer??
No. For the ATEM Television Studio HD it's only used for software updates/settings.

Any chance you know how to use the clock? Like say a focusrite unit to this switcher? There are zero videos on this subject…

Hi. You can try mixkit.co they have good free templates though they haven't updated their library in a while. Another option is 'envanto elements'

but is it possible to have a image out from the AUX with Audio Embbed?
The SDI output ports, this includes the AUX port all have audio embed

Siempre hay ventajas y desventajas para cualquier producto. Solo tiene que sopesar si el producto funcionará para sus necesidades.
