Don't get a magnaflow I had one installed and didn't changed much. I just had to delete the magnaflow exaust to get more sound because it didn't change much from the stock muffler. That is with the resonator still on!
That's an amazing exhaust noise. Reminds me of the Fiat 500 Abarth exhaust. I have a Kia Proceed GT, I think it's the same engine as the Forte GT and I'm thinking about modifying the exhaust.
does this make fart sounds at low rpm shifts? Cause i got a resonator delete and can hear the farts. but before i did that i also unbolted the muffler abit with a spacer in between and didnt get the low rpm shift farts. so im guessing with the res and cat gone it brings those low rpm fart shifts also with the muffler delete right? also did you remove the cat near the resonator?
So the first start up is completely stock exhaust on this car or am I just an idiot haha. Debating trading in my 2016 forte5 and if it sounds that damn good stock I might just have to send it and pull the trigger on the tradein lol
nice really like it especially warmed up , cold start is always nice even stock but that it maintains and sounds better warm is a bonus, eventually Ill get mine done, really wanna remote valve though so I can sneak away in the mornings.
You definitely have the right idea for deleting the muffler as this is a turbo vehicle. As some 2019+ Veloster Turbo 1.6L owners have done, I would do the muffler delete and replace stock resonator with the Vibrant Ultra Quiet Resonator. You will get a deep sound, some crackle and pops, and a lot less drone. Fantastic car btw. This will be my next car purchase. Fantastic value for a fantastic price. Now I am just debating on the color (White, Blue, or Red) and if I want the Manual (great tech included) or the Auto Dual Clutch with GT2 Package (leather heated and cooled seats plus adaptive cruise control).
That’s what’s up I love the manuals wish I had one instead of auto myself, but deleting the muffler and res and adding the tips ran me a little over 400, it really wasn’t that expensive because I enjoy the car like this it’s a head turner for sure when people walk by 😎 only thing is I live in SoCal and just got pulled over for not having a muffler so I’m forced to go back to stock until I find a nice muffler or even an exhaust system which sucks but it’s whatever I guess 🤷♂️
@@gtg4808 that’s SoCal for you, I’m in the same boat cuz I live in SoCal too and don’t know if I should delete the muffler, I’m thinking just get a ticket lawyer if I get pulled over
I've spoken with a Kia rep. Exhaust modifications do not void the warranty. Even if it somehow magically causes damage to the exhaust system, the only thing they won't fix is whatever you added. So if you do an axleback they're not gonna fix the axleback you installed. Both a dealer and a corporate Kia representative told me this.
That's pretty damn loud. Good but loud. I'd say put a good Magnaflo or something like that back on. Nice I like the white on this car.
Gonna have to look into it 💯
ua-cam.com/users/shorts7DL_sXo18fg?feature=share I added mid borla muffler to mine check it out

Going to try deleting muffler only and leaving resonator with quad tips. I'll post a video when it's done
1:52 you can hear the turbo spool down, gorgeous sound!
just put my order in today for a 2023 forte gt cannot wait bro

The first is stock. Sounds badass.
@@killerinst1ncz308 yeah i love it
Where did you buy this from Amazon or eBay?
I added a borla mid muffler to mine. Let me tell you sound awesome!
you got a vid?
should do downshifts and try to get pops
That’s what I would try too hahaha
The stock sounds SO much better
I agree. To each his own. it’s too loud for my taste.
@@JEFF_GOLD95 Same here...just going to change the tips and do a resonator delete.
@@ricoe3288 Did you end up doing it yet? Let me know how it sounds from the inside if you have, I am interested in the drone.
@@r4robin33 Not yet...weather is just starting to break...definitely next month...will keep you guys posted.
@@ricoe3288 cool! thanks
Honestly in socal res delete is the way to go for autos, manuals do whatever you want just stay in 6th gear when popo around
Any Drone??
Yeas That Bihh Pressure

Sounds good! Depending on my mood though I would want both sounds at my fingertips. Stock w a valve is probably my best bet eh!?
This car is amazing
the 4 tips look a lot better than 2

Sounds awful with the muffler gone. It sounds like a toy.
I bought a GT manual and I think I’m about to take the muffler off and get quad tips man!! Sounds awesome af lol
