    I’m a fan of Pete and Bas’s music, but I’ve started to question if they’re real due to something called Sindhu’s World. It began when I noticed a song called “Sindhu Sesh” and an album named Sindhu’s World. Who or what is Sindhu? Apparently, Sindhu owned a convenience store and gained popularity on Instagram before Pete and Bas emerged.
    What connects Pete and Bas to Sindhu’s World? A Vice article leads me to think Uncle Bal (also referred to as Goldberg) might be orchestrating much of this. Vice’s interview was with Uncle Bal, not Sindhu, and something felt odd. Uncle Bal’s comments about Sindhu’s song mirrored what Pete and Bas said in interviews, especially about how their grandchildren or others’ grandkids were involved in their music. Similarly, Uncle Bal mentions nephews helping him with Sindhu’s song.
    Another intriguing connection is Sindhu’s piano teacher named Basil, who I suspect might be Bas, especially since I’ve read that Bas was a piano teacher. Additionally, the peculiar and intriguing characters Sindhu supposedly encountered daily remind me of Pete and Bas’s crew.
    These connections and the potential role of Uncle Bal as the mastermind are making me suspicious. Does anyone have more insights or theories?
    Here is the article: www.vice.com/en/article/43na3n/investigating-sindhuworld-the-internets-favourite-corner-shop

      Sindhu Sesh is the 'booth' (a UK drill/rap term) and the artists that done tracks in the booth are Pete & Bas and PKJ. It's nothing to do with the song in the article. Sindhu World is like the collective/label around Uncle Bal. I'm intrigued by the suggestion of a 'Sindhu World' album, never heard of anything like that. When was it, what tracks are on it, and who are the artists involved? AFAIK the track mentioned in the article, "Sun Shines (On You)" is the only track by the artist 'Sindhu World' (and its not a drill or rap track). The video was linked to on reddit and facebook in October 2017, Pete and Bas's first outing was 24 December 2017, so only a couple of months later and probably overlapping projects. Bas was connected to the Sindhu track as it was this 'Basil Juice' he was involved in that set the whole thing off (Bas's mug is even on the bottles in the instagram post linked to in the article). Bal's nephews (and Sindhu) making the song mentioned in the article doesn't sound the same as Pete and Bas getting help with slang from their grandkids at all to me.
      Nor is there anything odd about Sindhu World' and Pete an Bas both being part of Sindhu world. Bas was the piano teacher of Bal's daughter, Pete was a regular customer in the shop. He was put in touch with Bas by Bal when he wanted to do a rap track for his granddaughter. Who are Pete and Bas's crew that you know so much about? I only know 91Shots. What are you trying to say about this 'crew' anyway? That they don't exist and Bal and Sindhu and the nephews never mentioned anywhere else are behind all the accurate old man stuff and genius lyrical style of Pete and Bas? Uncle Bal has only had one video done - through Sindhu World - from 7 months ago, and Its nothing like Pete and Bas or the Northern Boys (also on the 'label' and sounding different again). The only mentions of Goldberg I've seen are from Americans who think Uncle Bal looks like some guy famous in the States called Goldberg (who I'd never heard of before). I don't think Uncle Bal is going around using false aliases if that's what you were getting at!

      The real mystery is who are 91 shots. Maybe they the grandkiddies! Everyone so hung up on Pete and Bas but 91 beats go under the radar (seen them in a video with P&B, and djing the gigs). I came across a bit sharp in my post Webby, stay safe man.@@Itonyreyes

      Sindhuworld Ltd is the company formed by Pete and Bas' producers and co-writers, Jonathan Gibson and Barnaby Addison. They tried creating viral content before Pete and Bas, based around a possibly fictional shopkeeper named Sindhu. But Pete and Bas was their successful act.

    Sindhu Sesh came about because allegedly Pete and Bas weren't asked to appear on the yellow and black Daily Duppy, a GRM Daily music platform for all of the rappers in the UK, so made their own blue one.
    In the UK a 'wap' is not 'Wet Ass Pussy', it's a gun. Other names, 'Bing', 'Mash', 'Stick', 'Dot Dot' or 'Dotty', and 'Piece'.
    'Bifta' is a joint.
    They are both from South London, England. Pete - Peckham, and Bas - Croydon.
    I put a list on your Gangster Sh** reaction.

      Early on Pete and Bas mentioned wanting their own channel, they said it in a interview, possibly around 2019.
      The channel already existed, with content from a earlier sindhuworld project, based around a convenience store (they still have the same profile picture), only one of their earlier videos remains on the channel (uncle making tea).
      I think Pete and bas, plus their management realised that after 5 years it was time to use their own channel, plus I think GRM Daily was reluctant to release Windowframe cypher 2 on their channel, for obvious reasons 😅

    • @deanosaur808
      @deanosaur808 Рік тому

      Actually, the northern boys were first to release a song on the layer incarnation of sindhuworld.
      The success of this release most likely led to Pete and Bas to also releasing their new songs on the channel too, or it was already part of the master plan.

    Sindhu is a River in Asia and a river flows. So Sindhu Sesh = Flow Session

    • @deanosaur808
      @deanosaur808 Рік тому +1

      But that not why it's called that!
      Sindhu world is the channel, and Sesh is short for session. It's a session for the Sindhu world channel 😉
      Also, the channel was created in 2006, 11 years before they were involved in music.

      @@deanosaur808 it makes sense tho, making the label called Sindhu (flow), then showcasing your roster with sessions = sindhu sesh = flow session... it's a double.

    they are both Londoners, pete is from Peckham, one man ran that place after the Richardsons and that was bobby cummings, have a look into the original gangsters Krays(stupid and violent) and the Richardsons (clever and violent) krays ran the east end, richardsons ran the west after ww2. Bobby was made up in the 70s and 80's. I am an old west end girl and I remember all these fellas, pretty sure I met Pete at Bobby's place in 83/84 but i can't be sure that was him, too many years have gone by tbh
