I've been working on this piece for quite some time now. I think it's turned out quite nicely, but there's a few more kinks I need to work on. I kinda messed up in the bridge area, but oh well. I hope you enjoyed it! I'm gonna do my best to get a new cover out soon, but college apps come first, unfortunately. ;D I'll see what I can do! Thanks for all the support guys, and thanks for 15,000 subscribers.

The Ocarina of Time intro influence is strong, and great! Very good song! Keep it up, Jake!

i agree with jake on this one, i spent my first couple years just recreating some final fantasy songs in my off time, eventually my own ideas started flowing in, something that also helps is to try to write a song that you feel tells a story

I think its a very good thing that Jake does piano instead of constantly guitar covers. Hes opening his musical senses and plus this is a very beautiful composition. Cheers

At first I thought it was a bit floaty in the structure. But having listened to it several times, it actually is some brilliant work with some breathing room.

No, I did not. But you should totally ask your teacher! I'm sure she'd be happy to help you write songs. Some of my best ideas have come from just doodling around and improving on the piano, and then building upon those ideas. You should definitely try it. :D

I have done a cool, battle like, theme for against a boss or something, but it doesn't have much to it, its only a variation of 5 notes, not even chords, but playing it with different instruments on my one piano sounds cool. I have the ability to record 5 track channels and play them all at once, makes for a really cool, almost band like feel to it.

Jake, did you take lessons to write? I'm thinking about writing songs, been playing piano for years, but I never asked my teacher if she knew how to write music. I play songs from Zelda and Mario, and my friend would like me to write the music for him, some kind of RPG i think. If you have any tips, please comment back or send me a PM. AWESOME song by the way!
