Thanks for this review - another kit which I had not considered but is now on my 'must have' list. Its still quite expensive here in the UK but is available in Italy at a better price (where I ordered the Trumpeter BMP2 from). I will go for the later release with the 30mm cannon, as it still has all the interior detail etc. The BTRs are not very 'sexy' despite being extremely common around the world - perhaps that partly explains the dearth of kits. This kit is great value when compared with say the Revell Boxer IFV, which has good suspension detail etc but has very little detail (interior/hatches) elsewhere and is now almost as expensive.
@@neilhughes9310 Definitely buy the 80A over this one if you can find it. APCs are hit and miss but with this kit you are getting a lot of high end features like almost everything opens but still affordable. Trumpeter kits are underrated.
the 1st BTR image is actually a BTR belonging to the “Group of Soviet Forces in Germany” (GSFG) later on called “Western Group Forces” (WGF) the CA patch is actually the abbreviation for “Soviet Army”
