I keep hearing this 'breath' argument but there should be no need for shingles to breath if there is no moisture in, under, on top of, or around the shingle and that's what the sealer does.... prevent moisture from getting into gaps of shingles. The ventilation system in an attic should be adequate enough for underneath a roof.

I know this, but their claim is that their product is breathable and I know that elastomeric isn't breathable. Pay attention.
