I love how Laura put Eddie in check when he tried to write off Steve Urkel as a friend and how she told off Jimmy off for trying to control her. What really stood out about Laura Lee Winslow was the fact she defended Steve Urkel because she cared deeply for him. I applaud Laura for standing up for herself and Steve Urkel and standing up for what's right!

Eddie took advantage of Steve's friendship a few times. I was glad Laura stood up for Steve, and put Eddie in his place. Proves deep down even before she admitted her love for Steve, she did love and care for him a great deal.

I agree, I thought it was great that Laura always cared for Steve as a friend, and always defended him, because she knew he was vulnerable to being used by people and to being bullied. I thought she was a lot kinder than Lisa Turtle from SBTB

So refreshing to see a dark skinned black female portrayed in such an intelligent, smart, beautiful, honest, good headed, strong, feminine, and graceful way. Her character was something young females like her can look up to. You don't see US on the like this anymore. Great show!

I still love the one when Eddie came into Laura's school and told off that dude Ted who was gossiping about sleeping with Laura. That was the moment when I saw Eddie like not just Laura brother but Laura's protector. It was so beautiful. One of my fave scenes.
And her crazy relationship with Steve. She cared about Steve she didn't see love until she finally opened her eyes and she chose steve over Stefan. She just needed time plus Steve was always like begging her to be with him. A woman needs her space. Lol.
But she finally gave in and fell hard for Steve. It was done so beautifully.
