One of the hardest moons for me was "Taking Notes: On Top of the Wall" . It's just so infuriating to accidentally roll of the edge and be stuck in the Deep Woods for the umpteenth time.
For the Herding Sheep Above the Forest Fog moon which many people are talking about here, it can be simple if you are patient and take your time to move. Just make sure to walk really slowly right behind the sheep at some distance, so that when you stop the sheep also stops, and you are able to fine-tune its position.
But you have to hit it and sometimes it go to the fence and i have to jump over the edge and then cappy dive back onto the ground and then it just runs off any way
A7X Alyssa, definitely! The sheep is so stupid! He always runs off the edge and when u whack him with the hat, he goes flying through the air and u don't know where it is land and he never Girls into the pen. The secret star is not too difficult but still!
I actually found the jump rope challenge waaaaaay harder than the volleyball. I used the cappy p2 trick and had it in a few tries. Also lakeside kingdom is just really calming and a beautiful place so I didn't mind having to try it several times.
I know it’s so stupid that he put the volleyball and the break down road at number one because those didn’t even take me Over an hour combined while darker side took me 6 hours
@@brodyharvey3983 Hmmm... I'm not much of a gamer (I nearly rage-quit Sinking Colossal Ruins after failing it over 20 times in a row), and the Breakdown Road minus Cappy gameplay I've seen has been on Superstar Mode. I'm on my first playthrough, so I'll see how hard it is when I finish the Dark Side bossrush and then I can give a better opinion :)
I'm surprised you didn't include the 2D level in the Mushroom Kingdom where you have to follow the black background or you pop back into 3D and die. It doesn't look that hard by level design, but I still died a lot somehow! #1 was definitely the hardest for me too- probably about 60 deaths when combining my two attempts. If #3 only had 1 heart like The Perfect Run, it would probably be the hardest level in any 3D Mario game. As it is, though, I would personally put it lower. Great list though!
That 2D was making me rage extremely hard. I kept constantly dying over and over again at the circle part where the direction Mario moves changes depending on where you’re at, and with so little time before you get hit by the flying things or you fall into 3-d I could never master it. And thus, I ended up beating the darker side before it.
Watching this after all this time. It's funny cos I never had trouble with the #1 spot. On this video I probably found #5 the hardest. Although I probably wasn't great at rolling.
I didn't either 5 was very tough for me too, I think the one I failed most was the koopa s race in the lost kingdom, it took me so long to find a good path
Iceburn circuit class S was definitely the hardest, it took me 100s of attempts to even win by 0.01sec. I’ve also almost rage quited when I was 0.14sec and 0.08sec from winning.
Before you go through the dark side, throw your hat on one of the veggies by the electricity pole. One will give you a life up heart. The nice thing is, after you complete each battle, you can go back and re-collect the heart. As long as you don’t die, you’ll be able to reset your health to 6 after each battle.
Actually #1 was surprisingly the easiest one for me to get out of all 10 on this list. It only took me 2 ATTEMPTS to do it and Breakdown Road: Hurry! was actually harder for me to get ._.
BDR: Final challenge is all about rhythm. Personally I found it to be somewhat challenging, but as long as you get a feel for it, it's not too difficult.
Tip for no.8: There's a secret live-up that gives you additional 3 lives at the pumpkin tip near the spark pylon entrance. Once you beat a Broodal, head back outside and grab another live-up, then fight the next one, rinse and repeat.
Funny, Darker Side was by far the hardest one for me (the only one I resorted to Amiibo because I was so tired of restarting sections over and over and over). My main issue was the Pokio part, I kept falling down, and that's a "zero mistakes" section since it's over a pit. At first I didn't realize that Pokio could stick to the rock and kept trying to aim for the wooden panel at the end... then when I did realize that I kept accidently looking the OPPOSITE direction somehow at that section. Darker side was by *FAR* the #1 hardest one for me. Ironically, Jump Rope was pretty easy for me, did it about 3rd or so try. And Volleyball took many tries (helped when I learned that spiking it speeds it up early), but it's more mindless than hard, wouldn't even break top 10 for me. Don't get me wrong, I HATED the Volleyball, but it was not "hard" so much as frustrating, annoying, and tedious.
@@nut1629 Same, I tried to do it legit but my timing is just too bad. As much as I wanted to do it without the exploit, I really didn't want to be spending too much of my time jumping in place like that.
Surprisingly enough, I found the invisipoison moon harder than breakdown road or darker side. With those two there are at least strategies to make them easier, such as keeping a rhythm or jumping a certain way. All invisipoison has is rock aiming and being quick.
invisipoison pissed me off and the fact that the big piranha plants just swallow the rocks down like a champ made it all the harder. it didn't take THAT long tho cuz it was just annoying and you could always get the secret moon for a health refill
For me, invisible road wasn’t THAT hard. It only took me 5 or 6 tries. You just have to be patient instead of trying to rush yourself, and be good at long jumps.
Just land on the plants, and it clears all the poison around them. Aerial cap jump/dives are your friend. Also grab the hidden moon to get back to 3 hearts if you lose health in the first half
@@elocinvibes yes!! It took me forever to figure out and it’s kind of a pain going back and forth after you beat each one to fill up on 6 hearts but it’s sooo worth it!
I found a pretty consistent way to gey the volleyball moon. Just stand a little close to the net, throw cappy upwards and hold, and as soon as the volleyball is sent over, just home-in cappy to the ball up high. Works like a charm, but it takes a couple of tries to get used to. I don't believe the timing is very tight, and you don't need to move from the same spot at all. Just throw upward, hold, home-in, repeat!
That's a nice advice! Me it's staying in the middle of your side and just wait for the ball to land so that you throw cappy at it. This game even gives you a chance by letting the ball land once.
I’ve completed 7 out of 10 on your list here! The bains of my existence are those Koopa races. Some of them are ridiculous; especially since I haven’t mastered the double jump with Cappy haha

Pro tip for breakdown road: DO NOT try chaining long jumps. It's easy to roll off the platform before you can long jump again. Just jump off one block and dive to the next. Don't rush, and you should have way more control that way.
The key is to let go of the long jump/crouch/roll button after each jump, which will prevent you from rolling off the edge. Once you master this, you'll probably get it in the next few attempts.
I tried many times #7 and #1 and got frustrated for dying so many times. Now I'm collecting moons to get to 500 and I found out I can play the challenges with cappy going from different kingdoms and it's so much easier I got it first try 😄
When my friend was 100%ing SMO, he said he was dreading Breakdown Road while I was watching him. Somehow, he did it first try. He danced around the room for a solid minute. I hadn't done it up to that point, and so I didn't see why he was THIS excited. Now, having done this, I can see why he was so happy.
Aimee Simmons I went to another kingdom just to buy that heart and go back. And then I completed it with 4 hearts left so technically I could’ve done it with just 3 lol
For me, the difficulty of these moons actually made collecting them way more fun. Yeah it might take a few tries (or rage quits) but eventually your practice pays off. I was expecting Nathaniel to list the most difficult moons and the reasons why, but it sounded more like a list of moons he hates because of the difficulty. Sounds more like complaining to me which kind of put a negative light on the list.
Tip for the rabbit battles: go back to the odyssey by teleporting there, go in and get full health. You will not have to start over with the first battle.
MLgamings that’s like saying going into a death battle when there is a gun next to you and no rule against guns is cheating it’s using the resources you are given

Very accurate. I came back to the game not too long ago to try to get all the remaining moons and post-game completion. I did finish the Broodal run on Dark Side AND the Darker Side challenge (after maybe hundreds of times of practicing and a couple of helpful tips I found online (but not cheating like going all the way to the painting))and now have most of the moons, too, but several (maybe all?) of the ones left are on this list. I definitely share in the frustration with some of this stuff.
Nathaniel: *complains about only 3 hit points in the boss rush* Me: I mean, I accidentally found the Bonus Hearts the first time I entered the kingdom, so...
@@cobracmr4 easy if you're a robot that can make a bunch of literal frame-perfect and pixel-perfect inputs without messing up. But if you're a human being, then no it is in fact not easy. @@markymark443 I didn't mean to offend you my guy. I'm just being honest. For me it was simple. If it wasn't for others. I understand. I should have said it was one of the easiest moons to get for me.
@@markymark443 for me I can stay strait when doing long jumps and I have the timing down to long jump precisely each and every time for that moon. I think if someone isn't good at the moon they can get really good at long jumping through the moon with a bit of practice. But I've had practice when it comes to long jumping since I was 5. I'm 18 now😂, so it wasn't really something I needed to be taught through the moon cause I already knew.
Correction Bandy, you don't have to complete the Dark Side with just three hits. You can go to almost any kingdom and buy a life-up heart for only fifty gold coins. The life-up heart will increase your health to six and you can bring that extra health over to the Dark Side. I have already completed the Dark Side with the life-up heart, but I have yet to complete it without it.
You're lucky. I had less trouble with World C of Lost Levels than trying to bounce that fucking piece of shit volleyball 100 times. Then again, I'm better at 2D Mario than 3D. Eventually I just gave up on the volleyball and cheated with Cappy, something I've NEVER had to do in a Mario level before.
yeah it is. in a min capture run :D xD (not sure if it is actually the hardest) i know its a joke, but it actually can be hard to get in a min capture run.
I ALWAYS cheese the jump-roping and Snow Kingdom races, and feel great about it every time. They're both the opposite of fun or even satisfying to do legitimately for me, so the faster they're gone the better. I'll happily spend 10 minutes fine-tuning my strategy for a tricky platforming challenge if I have to, no problem, because it's enjoyable and what I'm there to do. Purely irritating mini-games though? Better believe I'm gonna cheat if you let me.
Honestly the one I found really hard for no reason was the one on the pillar on the very edge of the sand kingdom that you have to glide to. I don’t know why I found it so hard
Agreed, It took me so long to learn how to draw out the bullet bill far enough. A little too cryptic in my opinion, but I was very satisfied when I finally figured it out.
here’s my thoughts on how i cheesed most of these sand kingdom: hard but i got key on 2nd try lake kingdom: deserved higher made me really sad and mad at the same time dark side boss rush:wasnt that bad if you had a mario (preffered) and / or a peach amiibo. the peach would give you lives at any point and the mario would give you invincibility during the fight, making this incredibly easily. dark side poison run: same thing with the invis poison moon, mario helps, peach doesnt matter but the mario amiibo makes it so you cant take damage metro: jump rope was easy with scooter, scooter ensured same jump every time dark side vanishing road: also hard, no comment snow kingdom: didnt do it, rage quitted after ab 20 attempts. darker side: agreed, like champions road but longer and longer seaside kingdom volleyball: very annoyingly slow, and if you miss one it sucks, watched an entire movie in time it took (ghost rider 1) dark side breakdown road: very annoying took long time made me want to throw my controller in a fireplace. what really deserved #1 or even an honorable mention or any other rank: 2D well moons in mushroom kingdom: took an entire day for me sucked booty if you actually read all of this, you’re a real one, but if not, no hard feelings
Using an amiibo to not take damage is cheating. But yeah, I don’t remember which ones they were but there were 2 moons that I couldn’t get in 2D sections
That 2D well moon, the one where you had to follow the moving 2D section and if you were too fast or slow you’d be thrown back to 3D and die immediately. That was horrible. I was raging absolutely.
@@finnverbose5721 yeah it’s kinda stupid when video games do a super hard challenge like that and if you make one mistake you immediately die and have to start all over
That moon is the reason I can't sleep at night. Is the cause of my crippling depression. Every time I see a chain chop, or any dog for that matter, it triggers my PTSD and leads to flashbacks of the horrible time I had in order to get this moon. Hardest moon in Mario Odyssey is an understatement.
I did the Darker aside Moon within an hour, and let me tell you that I’m usually pretty bad at these kinds of challenges, something about it just did not seem all that tough. I think it was that it has a pattern and some repetition that I can memorize
Just the fact the he would make a top ten of over 800 unique items shows how much dedication he puts towards his videos and how much he cares about pleasing us, his viewers and subs! Good job NB!
I remember when I first watched this, it bugging me that I would probably never be skilled enough to get these moons and all the other moons. Now here I am, with all 880 moons, plus 119 bought moons to get to 999 moons. Breakdown road wasn’t that bad to me, The one I had the most trouble with was Vanishing Road in Dark Side. It was hard to me because it took a while before I got consistent with the triple jumps, dives, and rolls. Even when I did get pretty consistent, the timer pressured me, as you said in the video.
It's awesome to notice how many of these moons weren't that hard for me, but I can imagine you got some of the ones I struggled the most in your first or second attempt
i feel like a top 10 easiest would be impossible. a good majority of them are just sitting there waiting for you to grab them, buying them from shops, etc.
I would keep it. Jump rope let's you go faster. Volleyball takes way to much time. And all ya do in jump rope is press the same button very fast. I beat it on my second try. Volleyball gave me Ebola. But I finally finished it and actually threw a celebration. I respect your opinion though.
Dan Williams I tried that too! But I actually went to 210 without him. Lel. Volleyball on the other hand gave me anxiety and when I beat it, I put up a party. Iceburn racing circuit s though made me angry for 2 hours straight. I'm so glad I beat that too. I'm at 720 moons, and I'm about to get to the dark and darker side until I finish mushroom kingdom.
Hasan Takrouri Dont forget most of mushroom Kingdom is just talking to Toadette and her giving you moons, I got to 881 yesterday, just need to do the 100 volleyball then I'm all done, gonna make a separate save file to keep and continue on to that 999 moons coin grind, ugh
Fun Fact: for 10#, even if you use assist mode, it’s an immediate death(usually, you get pulled to the nearest land by a bubble if you land on poison, lava or fall into the void)
pro tip for beating Dark Side: if you warp back to the Odyssey and go inside it, your health refills back to 3!! discovering this was literally the number one reason I was able to get through. it sucks because then you have to go all the way back through the tower to pick up where you left off but it’s SUPER helpful if your health is at 1 with like two more fights to go. 💕
It's easy if you throw the cap to keep yourself in the air longer. The Volleyball moon was the hardest for me, because I don't have the patience to bounce a damn ball 100 times.
Shannon Powell Past the 50th jump when it reaches top speed I found that throwing Cappy was actual a hindrance, as it completely threw off whatever semblance of rhythm I had going. Plus, by that speed the extra time you got in the air put you in danger of landing on the swing after the one you almost got hit with.
Awkward Silence I understand where you're coming from. I actually had the same issue you just mentioned; and it took me a couple of tries to get it working. Though after the 50th jump, it no longer speeds up, so if you just keep the same rhythm, you'd be surprised how easy it is. What helped me (which is probably a little risky) was not actually looking at the rope when I started the technique, as I just focused on keeping the same rhythm of jump and cap throw inputs. By staring at the rope it caused me to delay some inputs as I was afraid of landing on the rope, not to mention the strain on my eyes from staring at it for so long lol Though rhythm is everything with this, so if it continuously throws you off, then you might want to avoid it
Shannon Powell Heh. The funny thing about that is that my biggest problem with it is that I suck at keeping a consistent rhythm, so that last 50 gets to be nail-biting. I think what I needed up doing was rotate the camera to the point that the two women and Mario were lined up in front of one another, and kept my eye trained at the 9 o'clock position of the rope's rotation (with it rotating counter clockwise), and jumped every time the rope passed through that spot. It took a long while, but I finally got it. Oh, also, getting them to start it up again after a failed attempt was unnecessarily annoying in my opinion. Can't tell you how many times I immediately failed just trying to jump back into position after having to walk away so far for them to reset.
I found a cheat for #1 by not collecting the key, if you do that, then the top bonzibill won't spawn, but if you fall down below it will spawn the bottom one, so you can ground pound jump, do a wall jump and dive back onto the top making it easier to lead it back.
but at least the top scores don't change over time. the leaderboards don't show players who had legitimate skill anymore, but if you were one of the first 20 people to figure out the glitch before it was publicized you earned a spot.
The hardest power moon for me has to be Darker Side’s Long Journey’s End because it’s the game’s final challenge and I think that someday you should do a top 10 easiest Super Mario Odyssey Power Moons
I died many times on #1 but when I finally beat it I actually stayed on the remains of the upper blocks, ultimately I found it easier than both the Vanishing road (#5) and easier than Arrival at Rabbit Ridge (#8).
On Arrival at Rabbit Ridge, you can actually head back to the Odyssey in between each boss. While in the Odyssey, Mario automatically regains health so you can essentially face each boss with a full pie of health. Needless to say, that moon was easy for me.
5:48 - 6:05 ; THANK YOU Nathaniel ! It always piss me off to hear a lot of people saying that this moon is super easy when they actually just bug exploit the parrot glitch. i had this moon legit after a lot of fail and retry but the satisfaction you have by doing it right feels really rewarding. i'm glad there's other people like you who feels the same
Jacky Boy people see this moon as shit because of the frustating challenge it pose. i can relate to that. But hearing them saying in a cocky way that this moon is super easy , not because of their own skill, but because of a bug exploit piss me off. Don't get me wrong : people are free to cheat if they feel like the moon is too challenging/frustrating. But then, they can't say that the moon is easy to get because they're not even trying. And it's not even the hardest moon to get. the beach volleyball moon is way more harder to get
Jacky Boy no, in this case, the co-op mode is not a bug exploit, it's a possible legit technique to beat the volleyball challenge. (Personaly i beated it in normal mode who was the most confortable for me)
Get this. I tried cheesing number 1 with assist mode, thinking it would make it so if i fell after getting the key, it would take me back to the beginning, with the key. Nope, that assist mode function was apparently DISABLED for that. They thought of that.
The 2D Mario sub area in the mushroom kingdom where you have to move with the platforms took me so long and made me so mad. I’m just glad I don’t have to do it again
@@meowBlitz switch to 2players mode and use cappy as the tostarena sombrero. might be 'cheating' but it works very well. cappy is faster and the sombrero has a bigger hitbox
For "fun", I often revisit Dark Side's Breakdown Road on my fully completed save file. If you need practice for that, just take the lower route to get the long jump patterns in order. Also, there is an easy way to get the camera sorted from upper to lower. Just wait until the top Banzai comes, then jump on his head to land on the narrow platforms below. Align the camera up, run to trigger the lower Banzai and then try the long jump moon. A little tricky, I know, but it makes the lower moon much easier.
I bet this is another list of power moons that I found really easy while others found really hard. Edit: I'll admit this is actually a good list they actually had some I found a wee bit difficult. Tip for no.8: There's a secret live-up that gives you additional 3 lives at the pumpkin tip near the spark pylon entrance. Once you beat a Broodal, head back outside and grab another live-up, then fight the next one, rinse and repeat.
Yeah
There is also a captain toad to restore all your health once
so it should be no.10?
You could also just go back inside the odyssey, it replenishes the hearts fully and doesn't have any limit.
But getting back is a pain.

“But at least you get that head-bopping music.”
-Nathaniel Bandy 2017
The volleyball is the only one I haven’t been able to collect. I gave up and started a new game 🤣
You can go into two player mode and use cappy on its own to hit the ball. Makes it 100% easier.
That’s what I did my dad played as Mario and I was cappy and at the end of the day we did it
Same expect with the jump rope instead of the volleyball
i used a mod to skip it lmaooo

@@nut1629 Same, I tried to do it legit but my timing is just too bad. As much as I wanted to do it without the exploit, I really didn't want to be spending too much of my time jumping in place like that.
tip: use the scooter, it's much easier
Is it because you failed the 100th jump and you raged universe~sized time?
I remember the volleyball one had my hands cramping and sweating because I didn’t want to make a mistake.
I paused every 10 points with Cappy alone because I would be too tense to go on.
True. The volleyball for me was the hardest out of all of the moons mentioned! Jump rope is second.
I would put #5 as my #1. Hardest challenge in the game for me. The rest, I didn't have much problem with.

You actually dont have to throw a rock at them, instead you can just hurl Mario at them. So its actually an easy one
I didn't even throw rocks, I just dived onto safe spots.
When you’re fighting all the broodals on the dark side you can go back through the spark pylon and get the 6-heart each time you beat one
... ARE U SERIOUS
@@elocinvibes yes!! It took me forever to figure out and it’s kind of a pain going back and forth after you beat each one to fill up on 6 hearts but it’s sooo worth it!

That's what I did. Way easier.
@@MeloGD-t3z You can just teleport to the Odyssey. This way you can skip roughly half of the way.

No. Taking notes with a spinning throw is the hardest.

Don't rush, and you should have way more control that way.
but you gotta be fast cause the giant bullet bill is right behind you
@@kyu_the_best Okay, but it doesn't travel THAT fast. You can take a second between each jump to situate yourself
You don't roll off if you let go of ZL/ZR when you're about to land
I just did a long jump every 3 platforms
The key is to let go of the long jump/crouch/roll button after each jump, which will prevent you from rolling off the edge. Once you master this, you'll probably get it in the next few attempts.
I tried many times #7 and #1 and got frustrated for dying so many times. Now I'm collecting moons to get to 500 and I found out I can play the challenges with cappy going from different kingdoms and it's so much easier I got it first try 😄

For the Broodals battle, just warp back to the Odyssey and regain health inside next to the tea. Then just run back to where you were.

When traversing platforms from low to high, high to low or using the frog, watch thier shadow, not the character!
I'm legit like you. To be honest, the Darker Side and the Rope jumping minigame were my most difficult 😅
Tip for the rabbit battles: go back to the odyssey by teleporting there, go in and get full health. You will not have to start over with the first battle.

@@cobracmr4 easy if you're a robot that can make a bunch of literal frame-perfect and pixel-perfect inputs without messing up. But if you're a human being, then no it is in fact not easy. @@markymark443 for me I can stay strait when doing long jumps and I have the timing down to long jump precisely each and every time for that moon.
Kale's Ultra Galaxy there is also a hidden life up heart in the pepper right before the electric wire capture that leads to the boss battle.

Yeah the lost levels is for the masochistic

You're lucky. I had less trouble with World C of Lost Levels than trying to bounce that fucking piece of shit volleyball 100 times. Then again, I'm better at 2D Mario than 3D. Eventually I just gave up on the volleyball and cheated with Cappy, something I've NEVER had to do in a Mario level before.
@Zachary Jones I did it legit but it definitely took a lot of trial and error and 120% of focus
I'm not even sure trial and error really helps, since there's no pattern to where the ball will fly. You just need insane reflexes.

It's not gliding, it's about using the bullet bill. And you had to *_shake_* your controller to go faster.
here’s my thoughts on how i cheesed most of these
sand kingdom: hard but i got key on 2nd try
lake kingdom: deserved higher made me really sad and mad at the same time
dark side boss rush:wasnt that bad if you had a mario (preffered) and / or a peach amiibo. the peach would give you lives at any point and the mario would give you invincibility during the fight, making this incredibly easily.
dark side poison run: same thing with the invis poison moon, mario helps, peach doesnt matter but the mario amiibo makes it so you cant take damage
metro: jump rope was easy with scooter, scooter ensured same jump every time
dark side vanishing road: also hard, no comment
snow kingdom: didnt do it, rage quitted after ab 20 attempts.
darker side: agreed, like champions road but longer and longer
seaside kingdom volleyball: very annoyingly slow, and if you miss one it sucks, watched an entire movie in time it took (ghost rider 1)
dark side breakdown road: very annoying took long time made me want to throw my controller in a fireplace.
what really deserved #1 or even an honorable mention or any other rank: 2D well moons in mushroom kingdom: took an entire day for me sucked booty
if you actually read all of this, you’re a real one, but if not, no hard feelings
I hear you man, Those well 2D moon's were a nightmare to me too.

In my opinion, THIS is the hardest moon:
"Our First Power Moon"
Yeah I agree I had such a struggle I mean they ask you to capture a chain chomp! That is to hard for me
Um, no. The hardest one was the one above the rock at the beginning of the cascade kingdom.
"Bench Friends" is much harder.
The hardest one is "Rescue Princess Peach"
I did the Darker aside Moon within an hour, and let me tell you that I’m usually pretty bad at these kinds of challenges, something about it just did not seem all that tough. I think it was that it has a pattern and some repetition that I can memorize

I remember all these because of how hard they are, I wouldn’t have to dig through all 800 moons just to find these ones

I almost completely agree with the list.
Although I would flip the order of the volleyball and the jump romp moons.
TempestSora why does everyone think it's easy? Because they play with basically no sound?
I would keep it. Jump rope let's you go faster. Volleyball takes way to much time. And all ya do in jump rope is press the same button very fast. I beat it on my second try. Volleyball gave me Ebola. But I finally finished it and actually threw a celebration. I respect your opinion though.
Hasan Takrouri I don't get the big deal over jump rope, just use cappy to slow your descent. 100, 200,500 whatever.
Hasan Takrouri Dont forget most of mushroom Kingdom is just talking to Toadette and her giving you moons, I got to 881 yesterday, just need to do the 100 volleyball then I'm all done, gonna make a separate save file to keep and continue on to that 999 moons coin grind, ugh

pro tip for beating Dark Side: if you warp back to the Odyssey and go inside it, your health refills back to 3!! discovering this was literally the number one reason I was able to get through. it sucks because then you have to go all the way back through the tower to pick up where you left off but it’s SUPER helpful if your health is at 1 with like two more fights to go. 💕
I got that one without having to warp back.
Thank you for the tip!
I like how Volleyball is one of the hardest
I have to agree with the jump rope challenge =_= was someone having a bad day at nintendo when they thought 100 times was a good idea? *sighs*
the electric knight It could've *easily* been 50.
It's easy if you throw the cap to keep yourself in the air longer. The Volleyball moon was the hardest for me, because I don't have the patience to bounce a damn ball 100 times.
Shannon Powell
Past the 50th jump when it reaches top speed I found that throwing Cappy was actual a hindrance, as it completely threw off whatever semblance of rhythm I had going.
By staring at the rope it caused me to delay some inputs as I was afraid of landing on the rope, not to mention the strain on my eyes from staring at it for so long lol
Though rhythm is everything with this, so if it continuously throws you off, then you might want to avoid it
Shannon Powell
Heh.

It always piss me off to hear a lot of people saying that this moon is super easy when they actually just bug exploit the parrot glitch. i had this moon legit after a lot of fail and retry but the satisfaction you have by doing it right feels really rewarding. i'm glad there's other people like you who feels the same
I got this moon legit in 2 attempts.
Shuyin781 why does it piss you off this moon is shit so no duh people are going to cheat
And it's not even the hardest moon to get. the beach volleyball moon is way more harder to get
Shuyin781 i get that though unless you count using 2 player as cheating volleyball is easy for me
Jacky Boy no, in this case, the co-op mode is not a bug exploit, it's a possible legit technique to beat the volleyball challenge. (Personaly i beated it in normal mode who was the most confortable for me)
The hat on volleyball for me is 10x easier
There’s actually a secret hp up heart just before the boss rush and after each boss you can go back and collect it because the broodals dont respawn.
for real???
@@markymark443 yup.
Nathaniel bandy>CND
JustinBrownGames, CND is annoying
JustinBrownGames liar
JustinBrownGames oooooohh
CND used to be good but now he is just annoying and let all the attention get to him and change his personality
Fa1c0npunch64, Yep
Get this. I tried cheesing number 1 with assist mode, thinking it would make it so if i fell after getting the key, it would take me back to the beginning, with the key. Nope, that assist mode function was apparently DISABLED for that. They thought of that.
Boorider7 Yeah, they did. Although I guarantee that if it weren’t, you wouldn’t be taken back to the main platform, just back on top.
if you dont have it yet then something i discovered is if you long jump, jump, jump and hang,... you will make it
Boorider7 here is a tip
Get good this is one of the easiest moons
Jacky Boy not the easiest, but not that bad if you just jump and dive instead of long jumping
UA-cam Judge i said one of the easiest not the easiest
The 2D Mario sub area in the mushroom kingdom where you have to move with the platforms took me so long and made me so mad.
I’m just glad I don’t have to do it again
Sadly the last moon I need to get is the 100 jump ropes
Random Random same and the volleyball
if you do not mind 'cheating' try with the scooter dude. it is MUCH easier. you can time your jumps better
@@meowBlitz switch to 2players mode and use cappy as the tostarena sombrero. might be 'cheating' but it works very well. cappy is faster and the sombrero has a bigger hitbox
The scooter doesn’t work at all, it’s hard to set up correctly and if you lag behind on the rope you can’t correct yourself. Atleast for me.
Again it depends. For me the scooter just wasn’t fast enough. Do what feels right to you. There isn’t one easy solution to the jump rope one atleast
6:04 NB: I’ll see you...I see everything....
Me: Pulls off the Mario Letter Glitch
NB: Doesn’t sees what I’m doing.
Herding sheep on the iron bridge made me break one of my joy-cons lmao
I bet this is another list of power moons that I found really easy while others found really hard.
Edit: I'll admit this is actually a good list they actually had some I found a wee bit difficult.
"The ball moves at a snail's pace"
Makes sense since its a world home for a bunch of snails. I got like a score of 716 on the volleyball with Cappy only he breaks that minigame like its nobody's business.
I’ve never heard the analogy “pull your hair out of your scrotum” but ima start using it now
same
The hardest moon for me was 'our first power moon'
Ugh
lmao this comment made my day
@@BortLoco you're welcome
Nathaniel: no way to restore your 3 hp
Assist mode: Am i a joke to you?
Me: * does breakdown road in wooded kingdom * why does everyone say this is so hard? You just capture the banzai bill.
Me after finding out there’s another breakdown road with no crappy: oh...
Oh god.
Edit: honestly it’s not that bad if you just do a normal jump and then dive at the peak of it
I had the same reaction but like you said it’s not that bad but #5 on this list was so hard for me even though I speedrun this game, the timer is just so unforgiving
I had to do it 3 times bc the f#khin banzai bill didnt spawn twice :/ (:
Crappy :)
Me with the piranha plant level, I literally played the regular one the other day and I couldnt understand why my bf found it so hard, until I watched this list 😅
This was literally me lol
