I liked the game but look what they did to new super Mario u they added 2 characters to hold your hand the whole game I don’t want to see what they would do to this
exactlyy, i had to retry the star with the poison lake and the floating platforms so many times i felt like i was gonna lose my mind, i was constantly losing my fire flower or falling into the poison lake
I remember wanting to complete Champion's Road with Toad and no power ups, took me a few days, but it was one of the most satisfying moments in my life
I honestly find Piranha Creeper Creek After Dark a pretty hard level to do. Cuz for all 3 stars, you NEED. I repeat: NEED the Fire Flower for all 3 since in each area you have to light up all the torch things. It’s already hard enough with the Fire Piranha Plants trying to kill, and you have to keep jumping and shooting HOPING you hit each torch thing. Also really hard to do with the spinning platforms, and as I mentioned before, THE GODAMN FIRE PIRANHA PLANTS!! God I hate that level
This game has so much to offer, so many extras and easter eggs, a great sound track, and the hardest 3d Mario level ever made. It's in my top 5 mario games. Plus you can throw your friends off the edge.
So I have a story: I was playing Cosmic Cannon Cluster, and I found an exploit in the last section: use the gamepad on the opposite side of that moving platform.
My dad once asked for me to help him beat Champion's Road, I told him, "If I walk that road for you, then are you really gonna be a champion?" A week later, he beat it.
10. I honestly didn't have trouble with this one. Yes, the final part can be difficult, but it's not crazy hard. 9. This one is scary as you feel like you're gonna fall any second! It wasn't too hard, but it was quite a rush and a fun level at that! 8. I guess I could see this being hard going in with no powerup and trying to get all collectables in one go, but if you just leave one or two behind and then retry to get them, this level's easy. 7. This level is harder than it looks! I confess I wanted to get all collectables in one go. Good luck with that! If you grab one at a time, it's not too difficult. 6. This is one of those trial and error stages (like the old Mario games) and that's why I liked it so much. This honestly should've been the normal Fort Fire Bros. 5. I like this stage quite a bit. That cannon jump section was an unexpected challenge and really makes you feel good when you beat it. It's a long stage that makes great use of the Cannon Box, and it looks awesome too! 4. Yes, THIS stage. I tried several times to beat it, and finally just narrowly did it. I like the idea of Boss Rush stages and wish each Mario game had one, like a challenge where you had to fight every Koopaling back-to-back (then Bowser) or something. 3. This one was a rush like Grumblump Inferno. Definitely a good difficulty! 2. Yes, this one is infuriating! I don't dislike it, it's just annoying sometimes. I keep losing on the ice skate room or taking damage on the Goomba room, making the rest harder. Haven't beat it yet. 1. I like that we're getting some stages for the expert Mario players still! This one I've made it to the Piranha Creeper place and died, and that was with Peach. Peach is probably the best for this one because of her floating ability. Rosalina is good too because of her high jump and Spin Jump. Toad is surprisingly next as he can go fast through some parts like the beat block area. Luigi comes next, and while his jump is good, I often slide right off! Mario I'd vote to be the hardest character to complete this stage with as he doesn't have an ability to make it easier. With the other characters, I have methods of speedrunning the Octoomba part, but with Mario I have to take my time, so even the 1st part is really difficult. Great stage! I would put Rainbow Run in there. I died 40 times! Crazy how the level right after final Bowser (which I beat in 1 try) was so much harder! EDIT: I made my list now! 1. Champion's Road (haven't beat it yet) 2. Mystery House Marathon (haven't beat it yet) 3. Rainbow Run 4. Boss Blitz (only died a few times, but it's a challenge nonetheless) 5. Super Galaxy 6. Piranha Creeper Creek (mainly that 3rd Green Star) 7. Blast Block Skyway 8. Rolling Ride Run 9. Switch Shock Circus 10. Captain Toad's Fiery Finale Honorable mentions: Faster Fort Fire Bros., Towering Sunshine Seaside, Broken Blue Bully Belt, Red-Hot Run, Spiky Spike Bridge Sneak This list may change a bit after I try to beat the levels as the other characters.
I’ve really enjoyed playing this game on switch with the more expansive faster move set never played it on the Wii U either so it was basically new for me
When I beat Champion's Road, I felt like a master. I learned the extreme timing of the Beat Blocks, without power-ups. It took me many, many lives, but I did do it. Then Odyssey's final level stared me down, so I put Easy Mode in its face.

Lubna Ghazwi I’ve beaten all without one, when I first played this game, I uses it a lot because I was a noob. But 5 years later I don’t need it, don’t even see the box that lets you get it ever
yeah my favorite powerup is the special bell (and then the boomerang because you can get stars/checkpoints/etc with it), but I usually get them in 11-5 instead of 11-9 because it's literally just as easy as 5-4 and it isn't easy to accidentally get hit like it is in 10-2...
I was able to beat Champion's Road only once. And that's of course with Peach. And even with her, the level was a nightmare, especially with the final stretch.
Just a fun fact. Those ghosts in a beam in the dark are called “peepas” Sorry I just like calling Mario enemies by their official names if I know them.

This stage really is broken... 2. So many stars....I'm feeling dizzy! @_@ 1. I knew this stage was #1! I must come up with a good strategy, or I'm never gonna beat it!
Number 7 is actually one of the easiest levels in the game. Just get a lucky cat bell from one of the blocks on the right, run towards the goombas and do the stomp move to become an indestructible lucky cat statue. It should take you like 30 real life seconds to finish the whole level in this way.
Exploit for the Champion’s Road Beat Block and Boost Pad sections: Ground pounding! When you ground pound, you stop in the air, giving you some extra frames that make it so that you don’t hit the ground as fast as you would. This is incredibly useful for making the Beat Block section act like its beat is slower, and it helps correct your jumps in the final section
10: I never really found this to be that hard. The level already made me play as Luigi to get the stamp, and his high jumps really help with this one. I can see how it can be hard, especially without power ups. 9: God, I hate this one. I died to this stage so much, mostly because of that stupid hammer bro! I died trying to get the stamp so many times. The rest of the stage isn’t too bad, but the end section can be very nerve racking. 8: Again, I never really had any trouble with this one. I beat on my first try, and got the green stars I missed on the second try. 7: This one was decently hard. I did die to it, as I played way too slow and got hit a lot. 6: This one was pretty tough. I had to play way faster than I usually did, which made the level a lot harder for me. I only was able to get the flagpole by getting cat suits beforehand so that I could use them to climb up, as I kept finishing the level small, and missed my long jumps. 5: Ugh, this one was really annoying. The part where you had to bounce off the cannon balls was awful. I died getting one of the green stars, it was the one where you had to hit a switch to spawn the path to it. I kept dying because I went too far on the moving platform so it would fall off. This is one of the few stages where I had to resort to using the golden tanooki, because I kept dying because of the dry bones. 4: This one was hard for me, but not because of the reason you used. I never had trouble with time management, but I had a lot of trouble with getting hit. I always did Hisstocrat first since they took the longest, and then did Boss Broulder. Boss Broulder was very annoying, as I would always lose my cat suits to him, causing me to die to Motley Bossblob since I kept getting hit by him. 3: I never want to play this level again. I lost so many lives to this one. Again, I had to resort to the golden tanooki for this one. The only reason I was able to beat this level was due to the OP Peach + Tanooki combo. I hate this stage! 2. I haven’t beat this one, but it seems brutal. Mystery houses with 10 green stars were hard enough, this one is awful. I’ve only ever got the first 10 green stars in this level. 1: I haven’t beat this level, and I’m not sure if I ever will. Even with the tanooki and Peach combo, I’ve only been able to get to the section with the fuzzies. I really want to beat this level, but it would take so much time just to even have a chance to beat it. As a side note, if this was considering getting all of the green stars in a level, then where’s Piranha Creeper Creek After Dark? It took me forever to get the second green star on that level.
Heres some help which can make these levels a cakewalk. No.7 one of the blocks contain a lucky bell which is that statue powerup. No 6 you can try using a tannoki to pass the hardest parts No 5 u can use that tannoki trick in super mario 3D land where u 90 degree wall jump and glide each time No 4 you can easily tannoki glide to the other hisstrocrat and if u keep holding the A button while it goes in the ground u get that extra height from the bounce to add time for the time he emerges and then glide to the other hisstrocrat and do the same and repeat it 2 more times and you basically beat hisstrocrat in under 90 seconds No 3 u can glide from the top of the spike platform to the next till u get to the other side No 2 let your instincts tell you you can beat that level because thats how I beat it.
This is literally one of the hardest games I’ve ever played, and I’m referring to the specific hard levels, THE MYSTER HOUSE IN THE LAST WORLD, CHAMPIONS ROAD, the timer on boss blitz, etc
One time when I was playing super Mario 3D world, I was trying to beat Cosmic Cannon Cluster and as soon as i was about to hit the flag..... THE WII U TURNED OFF!!!!! 😤😤😤😤
Play Champions Road 2-player (even if no one else is playing). Then when you get hit, go to a safe place and then die, while the other player stays alive, and then you become big, without having to restart. Now you can die as much as you want, without having to restart. (Unless you keep dying enough to lose all your lives). Make sure you have hundreds of lives as well, and this level should only take a mere 15 minutes! I want more levels this difficulty, as it’s not that bad if you play it like me, where you make sure you are always big. If you play with Rosalina, then you could beat this stage in a matter of minutes, even single-player. And if you decide you want to do 4-player, and you use Rosalina, then you could probably do this in a couple minutes. Well, follow all those tips, and each section should be easy! Apart from the last part, which will never be easy, unless you get an invincible tanooki. (By cheating in 4-2, or 1-2, where you can put an invincible tanooki in your pockets, and then go through the red pipe that’s hidden in the stage, which will take you to the next world, and then enter champions road, and put on that invincible tanooki). Now, see how much easier that stage is now. (All the tips work without any invincible tanooki)
I have never tried to do champions road with anyone other than Mario, so to get all characters to the flag pole I beat the level twice with Mario and at the end, I tell my siblings to grab a Wiimote and we all hop on after I did all the work😂And one time I did it without power ups and without taking any damage. One of the best moments of my life
Nathaniel: You have to beat them with Mario and get all the green stars and stamps. Me: *A Beam in the Dark has a green star with Luigi standing on a button.*

1. I knew this stage was #1! I must come up with a good strategy, or I'm never gonna beat it!
Yeah I agree
I have lost more than 1000 lives on champion’s road and I still haven’t beaten it
Number 7 is actually one of the easiest levels in the game. Just get a lucky cat bell from one of the blocks on the right, run towards the goombas and do the stomp move to become an indestructible lucky cat statue. It should take you like 30 real life seconds to finish the whole level in this way.
Lucky bells easily beat lucky leaves
I'm Glad I get to firstly experience this on Switch
"Which is ironic considering we're surrounded by lava. Haha." HAA HAA HAA 3:30
Floating fuzzy time mine was a pain in the neck
12:15 made me laugh so hard 😆
Why? I don't get it
@@nicholajones1890 bounce off these spiney assholes
Yeah I don't get it either it's not funny you said assholes that's all
"Keeping that tanooki suit.."
* loses tanooki suit *
Im so good with the tanooki suit that if i was a youtuber #3 would've been on the easiest stages for me
Exploit for the Champion’s Road Beat Block and Boost Pad sections:
Ground pounding!
When you ground pound, you stop in the air, giving you some extra frames that make it so that you don’t hit the ground as fast as you would. This is incredibly useful for making the Beat Block section act like its beat is slower, and it helps correct your jumps in the final section
Nathaniel: I'm sure you know what number one is.
An anti-vaping ad: *my time has come...*
I was about to comment the same
“Say “that” 5x faster”
THAT THAT THAT THAT THAT
10: I never really found this to be that hard.
No 6 you can try using a tannoki to pass the hardest parts
No 5 u can use that tannoki trick in super mario 3D land where u 90 degree wall jump and glide each time
No 4 you can easily tannoki glide to the other hisstrocrat and if u keep holding the A button while it goes in the ground u get that extra height from the bounce to add time for the time he emerges and then glide to the other hisstrocrat and do the same and repeat it 2 more times and you basically beat hisstrocrat in under 90 seconds
No 3 u can glide from the top of the spike platform to the next till u get to the other side
No 2 let your instincts tell you you can beat that level because thats how I beat it.
For champions road, use Rosalina the timing part is a peace of cake and the Magikoopa part become a parc
12:39 It pushed your lemon😂
Jump on every block turn: Like
Run up across on every block turn: Reply
the music in A Beam in the dark is so calming
ITS NOT MELEE
IBZ the boss yeah lol
IBZ the boss Patreon
ILUMINATI CONFFIRMED
He must have a different time zone maybe???
Everything can't be MELEE
Completionist gamer:
Okay. Time to go into champion's road. Im sure i can beat it.
5 hours later:
Aaaaand... my will to live is gone
At least Champion's Road has great music.
thats true since the music will remind you a lot of mario galaxy 1 & 2...guess that explains y this game has those octorok goomba's and rosalina
Ikr
Just like the default alarm songs. They are marvelous, but hearing them over and over and over and over gets annoying.
When Nathaniel and Bathaniel argue it just cracks me up.😂😂😂😂
Same
9:01 it also doesn't help that the walls are glitchy now that fire balls can land on them
You had me at “top”
"This may be the hardest Mario level in existence" You've obviously never played Mario Maker
The hardest level not made by sadistic 10 year olds.
id argue that some sunshine levels are harder or the perfect run
Number 9 is the second hardest level for me (I haven't played in awhile so I nearly remember)
Do you run across or jump across?
in "A Beam In The Dark" you don't need the light to get the third green star. You can just lure the giant boo out of the way
This is literally one of the hardest games I’ve ever played, and I’m referring to the specific hard levels, THE MYSTER HOUSE IN THE LAST WORLD, CHAMPIONS ROAD, the timer on boss blitz, etc
One time when I was playing super Mario 3D world, I was trying to beat Cosmic Cannon Cluster and as soon as i was about to hit the flag.....
THE WII U TURNED OFF!!!!! 😤😤😤😤
Could be worse, you could have been playing champion's road
5:53 That five times fast. Easy.

Kirby Star Allies: Am I a joke to you?
To Shi’a story
Tetris:
Kirby's epic yarn. YOU CAN'T EVEN DIE
One of the best moments of my life
Yay New Bandy vid!
#10 you can get the 3rd star by juking the boo
I do miss the warped voice...
Also, Peach was playable in Super Mario Bros 2. So Rosalina is the one that's overpowered because she has the spin ability from Super Mario Galaxy.
I feel like getting the second star in Piranha Creeper Creek After Dark at least deserves a mention.
Me in like 2016: beat Champion's Road.
Me watching this in 2019: *Watched this video* Done it 3 years ago, can do it again, CHALLENGE ACCEPTED! >:)
Boss Blitz was hard?
I found that level pretty easy
Did you have powerups?
THIS SHOULD HAVE HAD A PORT ON THE SWITCH
There is a rumor that will be released or shown later in 2020.
Even better, they make a second 3D world
Well your wish has been granted
8:02
You can't do that, you have to use the Invincibility Leaf to float over to it.
i did it like that
Nathaniel: You have to beat them with Mario and get all the green stars and stamps.
Me: *A Beam in the Dark has a green star with Luigi standing on a button.*
I got to the very last room that says “thank you” and then the time ran out
Edit: I’m still trying to beat it 😂
Have you beaten it yet?
“3D World is the easiest”
Uh, 3D Land anyone? The disappointing alternative to 3D World lol?
Edit: I love 3D Land I was joking
Roberto Iglesias-Sanchez 3D land is my favorite game lol nostalgia
3:07 If you ground pound the blocks they get an angry expression and they move faster (This is only temporary before they go back to normal speed and have the Sad Expression)
Everyone else doing Champions Road: all this can make a grown man cry
ZackScott doing Champions Road: not this man
For towering sunshine seaside, just use the Statue Cat Suit, its on the level so it isn’t that hard at all
