Salad is insane. It got 6th Place at the Kissimmee Regional in Florida. I should know. I was there and was the only play that beat him in the tournament. Raidraptors go brrrrrrrr
I got a vanquish soul deck on master duel and its true you really cant make mistakes with the deck, but its a really fun gameplay and practice makes perfect
What do you think about the buster blader deck that's been going around? It basically forces tenpai into defense position and also prevents them from activating their effects.
Dinomorphia takes some skill trying to survive but its insanely good. They can be very consistent, they have ways around cards like Lightning Storm and Feather Duster, and they are just so interesting to play. They are the closest trap deck to being a meta deck that stuck to their trap deck roots unlike Labyrinth and Traptrix who became more combo oriented.
@@RobinsAssistant Well it has cards other than Therizia to search for traps. I use Prosperity, Trap Trick, Wanna bee, and Traptantalizing Tune. I'm considering Thrust right now though.
I think it can easily set up either of their trap cards and a legatia on opponents turn. In a lot of cases you could probably set up both traps. And you just play simple and kill them slowly with advantage and hand traps. I think some people also play a Horus engine for rank 8 plays and extra level 8 extenders. (P.s. I’m not a centur-ion player, but this is what I’ve seen and would probably do myself)
I play Swordsoul in the TCG...but i'm currently not having fun with it...i feel like i mess up more/lose with it more then i win....i feel like should go to a different deck like Heros or Cyber Dragons...or maybe just retire from Yu-Gi-Oh...cause i feel lits getting more complicated for me :(
I'm a huge advocate for P.U.N.K __gold pride. Who needs hand traps when you can blow up your opponents board and non target non destruction remove monsters
We’re already at a point that yeah, Tearlament should come back. Like it REALLY has to come back. I’m willing let them off on parole if they can at least stop Snake Eye
Centurion is a great deck, and with the right cards, is not reliant on Calamity Lock. Aside from using it with Horus to enable Rank 8 Xyz plays, or sometimes Superheavy Samurai, I have cooked small supplementary engines to Centurion myself - Mannadium and Branded. Let me cook. Mannadium package = Riumheart, Calarium, Mannadium Breakheart Breakheart is an insane way to give yourself recursion of Legatia. Calarium gives your LIGHTS additional ATK and can let you pass on Primera if things go really dire. Riumheart gets you to Breakheart, and Calarium to Riumheart. Branded package = Guiding Quem, Albion, (Branded in Red) Quem is the necessary lvl 4 Tuner for the deck to diversify its ways to get into lvl 12 synchros. It can send Albion to the GY, and if you Synchro with your Centurion package, you can SS Albion back for another lvl 12 Synchro. This plays way more into Nibiru by exceeding the 5 Summons threshold, but it gives a more immediate endboard. Branded in Red can be a Monster Reborn for Quem or Albion to continue your Synchro plays, and if you really want to, you can Fusion Summon something with it.
Please, no more. Tear and Branded need to die at this point, if only so stands stop s******* on decks their paired with as, "trash until X made them viable". My Predaplants HAVE a Branded engine, that isn't WHY the deck is decent though.
Pure Fire King doesn't cost more than $50 and its more consistent and powerful than people understand or give credit for. You can make Photon Lord going first because you can detach Garunix and use Kirin during your opponents turn to setup Eternity. You have Arvata, Rangballi, and Sky Burning. You also have 3 Ponix, 3 Island, 3 Sanctuary, and 1 Terraforming. If push it to $100 you can afford 2 copies of Fenrir and 3 copies of Ash Blossom. You can play with Dark Ruler and maybe have some of the dirt cheap Kaijus in the side deck. You want Dark Ruler for this deck because it makes Garunix that much better but by playing 3 different negation based hand traps ending your turn going first with Photon Lord and Arvata plus hand traps has never felt better. They also have Their own Otk involving Eternity and High Avatar(Which over time they can be a double Dark Hole.). When Ukanix is out knowing stuff like this only going to be more important. The hand traps I chose for the less than $50 version was 3 Mourner, 3 Veiler, and 3 Impermanence. Impermanence has proven that its column interaction and its ability to be used over and over again that outside of Ash Blossoms more niche applications Impermanence is clearly the better overall card and thats why I chose it over Ash. You can Ash a Branded Fusion or Welcome Labyrinth but thats all that really makes her better. With so many 1 card combos the impact of Ash Blossom by itself is almost nothing.
@@MoodyBlag Well to some degree yes but not all the cards needed to make the deck more potent are in there and usually you have to spend around $30 for 3 decks to make something cohesive. You'll save money buying singles because not everything I mentioned came in it. Just 1 copy of Photon Lord can be about $8 and assuming Imperm isn't in the Fire King structure deck thats another $14 for 3 Imperm at that rate it would be cheaper to just custom make the deck you want from singles. I don't remember Photon Lord and Imperm being a part of the structure deck.
@@MoodyBlag Ok that does make it cheaper overall as a way to get all of the most impactful hand traps in the game. Once you have stuff like this a lot of the more busted budget decks can be got for $15 or less. Its a really good long term investment that will save people a whole ton of money. How I know that after having all the important staples is I looked online and a lot of the cards for Fire King are either pennies or quarters for a single copy. A lot of older decks like Branded are cheap with some exceptions and Quem, Dusk Dragon, Luluwalilith, and Rindbrumm get reprints people can play the Fusion Duplication version of it for no more than the price of 3 structure decks. Those staple will be coming in clutch because Fusion Duplication allows you to have up to 15 non-engine slots. Thats part of why I really like structure decks if you have the staples already you can normally buy all singles you need for $10 $20. Branded one of those exceptions at the moment though.
Still on my Horus centurion bullsh*t, gotta say when photon lord got reprinted it let players no longer fear the nib. You can even start plugging in cards like shadows light since the new centurion synchro is a dark dragon- you can cheese out the crimson dragon to drop a blazar dragon and auxila and a photon lord AND an imsety turn 1 (that imsety depends on what kind of Horus thing you dropped) of course you’ll still try to calamity but now you looking a lot more interactive on the table than before Gotta try getting back into vanquish soul but I’m kinda having fun with ancient gears of all things. It works a solid 60% of the time and every time it does my unga bunga beeg monster brain gets happy I’m swinging for 5k three times on top of literally every other big beef cake punching down
@@KingAnubis21 having the new commander and duel kinda sets up a crazy triple tap from ultimate golem that catches lots of people off guard- it’s definitely tenpai from wish, but I’m just glad it’s fun and playable lol
At the moment I am in Japan, and I will remain here for at least 18 months due to my master's degree. Do you think we can apply these advices to the OCG environment too? Or there are too many differences? If no, any advice for OCG side?

Further reflecting the deck's immersion (as a deck based on fighting games, it makes sense that mistakes hurt extra, lol)
I agree with what you're saying about having patience if you play Dino morphea you can't have patience cuz you'll automatically lose to the time
So does this mean we're gonna get a chimera deck list any time soon??
Dinomorphia any good?
I need vanquish soul list now lol
My only problem with Cyber Dragon is I tend to not draw Clockwork so as a novice duelist I end up in bricky situations a lot

It's pretty cool but I wouldn't know how it would do vs snake eye and fire king
