To be fair The new Ancient Gear Support makes it very consistent. It's still go second or bust, but it's able to Otk with almost no points to interupt.
that is unfortunately the core problem. the deck doesn't really do anything going first, which is an extremely exploitable weakness. it means your opponent is free to pop off with no fear of disruption if they so choose to make you go first, because the only thing they have to worry about is maybe a hand trap or two. or possibly regulus but he doesn't fit in that deck like he does in the Earth Machine pile
@@MiyaoMeow588 I'm very well aware of deck problems. 😭😭😭 But it is still important to mention when a deck does get a significant boost to consistently. Even if the deck is tier 4 at best.
@@Jimokc it will become MUCH better once we get Statue and Dragon. Also it's very likely that we're going to get at least a couple more cards, which are probably going to include at least a new fusion or a link

i for one would've loved to see the big punchy machines get highlighted a bit but this set is fucking stacked with cool cards im not sure what you would take out for it. everything else discussed is either going to be more relevant this format or at the very least after INFO
it's funny, most of the new cards are objectively quite good when you sit down and play with them, but the deck is still bad because it literally can't go first ever
yubel keeps getting custom cards that are either in-archetype or incidentally synergistic like Varudras and i don't care for it one bit
