Okay lets ignore the fact that the traitor parts are sung by a girl. Heres a lamsliza(?) Idea So hamilton walks into a dark room to see eliza lit up only by the candle in his hand and she has letters in her hands. She goes on to talk about how she saved every letter he wrote her (yada yada) So when she tells him about what angelica said another light fades in, hamilton expects to see angelica but its actually laurens, a face he hadnt seen in many years. Laurens holds a lantern and reminds hamilton about how they were in love until he met eliza and there are a few flashbacks to valley forge and battles and all that And then eliza talks about how alexander published the letters maria wrote him And laurens is *pissed off*, he never survived past the war and knowing what hamilton had become after him gets him annoyed so he confronts alexander about how shitty his actions are
Eliza is really angry and so is john, eliza is like 'and you are paranoid in every paragraph how they perciieve you, you you youu' then it fades to black again with eliza being the only one in the room as she goes on about erasing herself from the narrative, laurens re appears with the lantern and eliza puts a stack of letters in the lantern and they pick up the flame and she throws them on the ground where theres a path of letters that catch on fire and alexander *runs* laurens and eliza go after him to stop him from running away from the consequenses of his actions and they corner him and he cant run anymore but then laurens and eliza look at each other for a moment and laurens opens his arms for eliza to hug him. They hug for a moment and eliza glares at alexander saying 'i hope that you burrnnn' and laurens also glares at him like 'god i wish that you had thought this through before i went and fell in love with you' Then alexander wakes up in a cold sweat but eliza is still asleep and he has not yet published the reynolds pamphlet but it sits on his desk ready to be sent to the publishers

Heres a lamsliza(?) Idea
So hamilton walks into a dark room to see eliza lit up only by the candle in his hand and she has letters in her hands.
She goes on to talk about how she saved every letter he wrote her (yada yada)
So when she tells him about what angelica said another light fades in, hamilton expects to see angelica but its actually laurens, a face he hadnt seen in many years.
Laurens holds a lantern and reminds hamilton about how they were in love until he met eliza and there are a few flashbacks to valley forge and battles and all that
And then eliza talks about how alexander published the letters maria wrote him
And laurens is *pissed off*, he never survived past the war and knowing what hamilton had become after him gets him annoyed so he confronts alexander about how shitty his actions are
Eliza is really angry and so is john, eliza is like 'and you are paranoid in every paragraph how they perciieve you, you you youu' then it fades to black again with eliza being the only one in the room as she goes on about erasing herself from the narrative, laurens re appears with the lantern and eliza puts a stack of letters in the lantern and they pick up the flame and she throws them on the ground where theres a path of letters that catch on fire and alexander *runs* laurens and eliza go after him to stop him from running away from the consequenses of his actions and they corner him and he cant run anymore but then laurens and eliza look at each other for a moment and laurens opens his arms for eliza to hug him.
They hug for a moment and eliza glares at alexander saying 'i hope that you burrnnn' and laurens also glares at him like 'god i wish that you had thought this through before i went and fell in love with you'
Then alexander wakes up in a cold sweat but eliza is still asleep and he has not yet published the reynolds pamphlet but it sits on his desk ready to be sent to the publishers
