He kept doing it cause he had no choice. From my perspective, Ham. kept paying James because he wanted to keep being with her. Also he wasn't being blackmailed I think.
Maria was the only one who was innocent in this case because her husband forced her to do what she did so he could get money from Hamilton. Hamilton was known to be in shady deals anyway, and also he knew about the whole ordeal before hand. Maria wrote him a letter in advance saying that she wished she hadn’t been born because of the misfortune she would cause him. It’s even more sick because that means Hamilton slept with her knowing what was happening.
@@no.8952 that was well after the affair had begun. She wrote the letter a day before James confronted Hamilton. @@ARS1508 Oh ok that makes sense, still I think Maria was much younger than him (i can’t remember) and he was still married so he’s messed up no matter how you look at it lol

Ned really did pull a Hamilton. But to credit Hamilton he at *least* hid the affair before outing himself. Ned just did it in broad daylight for the world to see 😐
@Michaela Adu Ned Fullmer/Fulmer(idk which is the right spelling) had an affair on his wife Ariel after years of presenting himself a great, faithful husband. But then four ish months ago, Ned was caught cheating on his wife in broad daylight. The yter INabber has around 4 videos on the subject. I recommend looking up INabber Ned Fulmer situation
What I think is messed up is that Hamilton is like “no one needs to know” but he wrote it all down and posted it everywhere he was not even accused of it he just did to do it
To Hamilton: there's a difference confessing your misdeeds and a 95-page pamphlet of cheating on your wife that's disgusting dude you messed up bad like really bad
Angelica had told herself her flirtation/emotional cheating with Alexander was okay because she knew she would never cross the line into an actual affair and that it would keep "he will never be satisfied" Alexander from crossing the line with someone else. But then he cheats anyway, so not only is her sister devastated and her own feelings crushed, she now has to realize there is NO JUSTIFICATION for the emotional cheating with her sister's husband she's been doing the entirety of their marriage.
Im suddenly recognizing that Alexander (in the fictionalized musical) was raped by Mrs Reynolds, and then was practically forced to continue or else she and her husband could destroy his entire life.
while I do agree on the fact he was taken advantage of by the Reynolds, I think we need to remember the fact Alexander is an unreliable narrator, I think there are some videos essays that analyze his narration, its really interesting, you should try to check it out!

Say no to this-
There's nothing like summer in the city
Someone under stress meets someone looking pretty
There's trouble in the air, you can smell it
And Alexander's by himself, I'll let him tell it
I hadn't slept in a week
I was weak, I was awake
You've never seen a bastard orphan more in need of a break
Longing for Angelica
Missing my wife
That's when Miss Maria Reynolds walked into my life, she said
I know you are a man of honor
I'm so sorry to bother you at home
But I don't know where to go, and I came here all alone
She said
My husband's doin' me wrong
Beatin' me, cheatin' me, mistreatin' me
Suddenly he's up and gone
I don't have the means to go on
So I offered her a loan, I offered to walk her home, she said
You're too kind, sir
I gave her thirty bucks that I had socked away
She lived a block away, she said
This one's mine, sir
Then I said, "Well, I should head back home"
She turned red, she led me to her bed
Let her legs spread and said
Stay
Hey
Hey
That's when I began to pray
Lord, show me how to say no to this
I don't know how to say no to this
But my God, she looks so helpless
And her body's saying, "Hell, yes"
Whoa
No, show me how to say no to this

No, no (say no to this)

I wish I could say that was the last time
I said that last time, it became a pastime
A month into this endeavor I received a letter
From a Mr. James Reynolds, even better, it said

And in a prosperous enough position to put wealth
In the pockets of people like me down on their luck
You see, that was my wife who you decided to (fuuuu)
Uh oh, you made the wrong sucker a cuckold
So time to pay the piper for the pants you unbuckled
And hey, you can keep seein' my whore wife
If the price is right, if not I'm telling your wife
I hid the letter and I raced to her place
Screamed, "How could you?" In her face, she said
No, sir
Half dressed, apologetic, a mess, she looked pathetic, she cried

Alexander’s Hamilfall, the three songs that prove he effed up badly.
I wonder what kinds of reactions the Schyler dad had XD

*”I SAID BE TRUE, DAMNIT!!!”*
My 3 favorite songs
This part literally pissed me off so much
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥. I really appreciate this vid man
What I think is messed up is that Hamilton is like “no one needs to know” but he wrote it all down and posted it everywhere he was not even accused of it he just did to do it
Burn... she starts so disappointed then by the end she is ANGRY
To Hamilton: there's a difference confessing your misdeeds and a 95-page pamphlet of cheating on your wife that's disgusting dude you messed up bad like really bad

cheating is bad but… SONGS ABT CHEATING 😍
hi i love hamilton the musical
I love Hamilton the musical is a strange name.
Man writes about cheating on his wife (INSTANTLY REGRETS IT) - Dharr Man
STOPPPPP NOT DHARR MAN😭
The fact that Angelica is not mad that Alexander is cheating on her sister but because he's cheating WITH ANOTHER GIRL and not her. LOL 😂
Right here exactly is when Alexander Hamilton ruined his life 1:23

Anyone else hear the tiptoeing in say no to this?
ODYSEEYUS WOULD NEVER
How do I say no to this song
Im suddenly recognizing that Alexander (in the fictionalized musical) was raped by Mrs Reynolds, and then was practically forced to continue or else she and her husband could destroy his entire life.
while I do agree on the fact he was taken advantage of by the Reynolds, I think we need to remember the fact Alexander is an unreliable narrator, I think there are some videos essays that analyze his narration, its really interesting, you should try to check it out!
AHEM be quiet abt NO😂
