  • In this video, I'll show you how to bleed the brakes on your Chinese scooter. This procedure is the same for most motorcycles too. Make sure to use DOT 3, 4, or 5.1 brake fluid.
    Torque specifications:
    Brake lever banjo bolt: 19 ft-lb or 26 Nm

    Hi, I bled the brakes on a Lance Havana Classic 200i but I am getting zero resistance on the brake lever. This scooter has a combined brake system. The lever on the left has full resistance and brakes fine. Do you have any suggestions?

    All sudden my scooter is harder to start and and it has loss of acceleration power

    Er.. Bleeding the break takes about an hour? Seems like it would take 10 minutes! LOL I'll give it a shot later today.

    Now, I have seen some videos unscrewing the area and then pumping the breaks a few times.
    Please advise.
