Great vid man, thanks for posting. 1 question- I notice you checked the oil level on the side stand - should it be on centre stand so it’s level?

Hi Nigel. Do you mean for the transmission fluid as it was draining out after filling?
Yes, I held the bike up off the jiffy stand and level for a bit while the final bit drained out of the fill hole. I see I did not add that clip. Great catch, mate.

This service should be included with the purchase since you are checking if the bike did not break during its first real world usage .

When you do the voltage test and brake fluid you need to make sure you're not touching the wall of the brake fluid reservoir as if it's metal it will mess with the result.

Your video did not include how to adjust the drive belt. Here is a supplement I did for your excellent video:

Ok, I told my grandpa, the 90 year old Goldwing riding, Honda diehard since the 70s, electrical engineer, about your podcast; now he's obsessed with electric motorcycles. THANKS A LOT! hahaha.

I know you were just showing the tread depth thing as a prop but for anybody actually using one make sure you check as close to the center of the tire as possible because that's where the most wear will be.

Great video sir! Do you mind sharing how’s your windshield, and where to shop for one?
    Thank you.

Hi there! The link below is the exact screen I got. I did get a solid black one which was hard to find and now they seem to be all gone. I do not know if they’re still available or not in solid black.

Hi Justin, just coming up to my 1k service in Paris, France. Not sure what the cost will be. I really love the bike but as you say, nothing is free with Livewire. Moreover, there are almost no aftermarket parts and the very few that exist are painfully expensive. I changed the tyres after skidding for a few months and it handles way better on wet roads. The front mudguard is a joke and at 20-30mph sprays all the water directly into your face. I apparently have to get one custom made has no replacements are available. It has no rained daily for two months solid🙄I also want to make a few more mainly aesthetic modifications (cowl, maybe seat, mni windshield) but it is a great machine overall!

Really useful video! can you tell me the Torque Specs to tighten up the brake calipers? I need to remove my front wheel to get a new tire installed.

I have the situation you described at the very beginning of the video. I am still watching it (less than a minute watched). I just stopped it because I have a major question here. The manual states that warranty may be voided if the bike is not serviced by LW/H-D. Do you have any info regarding this? I was told it does not void it, but I don't want to risk it. Any info is appreciated. Thank you.
