I do not feel sorry for her at all. She should’ve stayed unconscious until the end of the season. 😂😂😂😂😂
When she lashed out at Storm it made me so angry at the hypocrisy. Storm wasn't on a whimsical vacation. She was dealing with the loss of her powers, it'd be like if she lost her eyesight or arms. She deserved to have time to evaluate her life. ROGUE was the one who turned her back on family because she was abandoning her family to go on Magneto's asteroid and leave them all to die. And yeah, Prof X left, but he was healing from being on his deathbed, and he is just one man. He had no reason to think everything would fall apart in his absence. And he was helping the Sh'iar learn to be less adversarial and educating them on the faults of their "might makes right" sentimentality, something that could benefit countless planets. He wasn't just playing around.
The writers sure changed Rogue. She was the understanding one even through peril and turmoil in the original series. But now, she's letting her emotions get the best of her.
Man this series is making hate Rogue, she is fine with letting Magneto come onto her and even considers becoming romantically involved with him while she is still with Gambit, and her excuse is because she can’t touch him. I don’t care how touch starved you are that is a shitty and selfish thing to do to a person. And now he has died and suddenly she is blaming everyone even though they are not at fault, I have a feeling she is just projecting her own self hatred onto everyone else. Rogue seriously needs to get called out for the horrible ways she’s treating everyone around her.
Remy says they were never official. Magneto and Rogue were a legitimate couple before they broke up. And it's easy for you to say "I don't care how touch starved you are" when Rogue literally cannot touch any other human being in her entire life. It's literally faulting someone for wanting a relationship where she is free of her disability. Imagine never being able to be intimate or touch the person you love. It's a fact that human contact sets off positive chemical reactions in the brain. It's way harder than you think. On top of all of this, Rogue chose Gambit before his death because after having a sensual dance with Magneto she realized Remy was right and that being able to touch someone freely means nothing if it's not with someone you love. If Gambit didn't die they would literally be together right now. And that guilt Rogue feels for feeling like she threw away a good relationship and didn't realize it before it was too late is a huge factor for her unresolved rage and guilt. Y'all literally do not understand the complexities of the show's character writing because you only view the situation as skin deep. Ironic considering the subject matter.
I don’t hate Rogue. I don’t agree with her actions, but I can understand them. She was there during the massacre. She watched Magneto “die”. She held Gambit’s dead body. She never got to tell him she ultimately chose him. She’s grieving. She’s angry. She’s full of regret. Those emotions are influencing her decision making for the worst.
I think a lot of her anger is with herself. She forgets Kurt was there, too, though. He got hurt teleporting her and Magneto out of the line of fire. I understood why she assisted Trask with his suicide. I was glad when she recalled what she did and was horrified. I didn’t like what she said to a Storm and about Jean, when she decided to leave though.

Now she has to live with that regret for the rest of her life and deep down she knows it she just taking her anger out on him but she doesn't really mean it she's going through that grief
So Gambit was buried in New Orleans? Then the possibility of his return has risen up even more. True, Apocalypses could bring Remy back as a horesman, Sinister as well, but so can Candra, Bella Donna and Bro Voodoo etc...Madelyn Prior may not even be dead and she and Gambit could be trapped in Inferno/Otherword etc.. I'd love for Madelyn and Gambit to have a fling tbh. In the comic she made Havok her Goblin King, but the show might replace Havok for Gambit. It would be hot and serve both Scott and Rogue right.
WHAT CHARLES SAID IS CONFUSING. I mean he says that "he wonders if they should have buried him on the school ground" meaning they did it but THEY SHOULDN'T HAVE DONE IT..or that he IS NOT in the school ground and he is buried in New Orleans?. Because if they buried him in New Orleans, then there are many other ways that he could be resurrected aside from Apocalypse. The Thieves used to have an Exilir that concedes life given by Candra. Another way is maybe Candra resurrecting him for a bargain and as you said, there is also Brother Voodoo. In the comics he and Gambit know each other and are kind of friends. The thing is, the resurrected Gambit is gonna be the same guy, or Its gonna be an evil person like Morph was when he returned...I WOULD STRONGELY PREFER IF THEY USED THE SEIGE PERILE, to bring Gambit Back, but since the Xmen dont even mention the topic, I am afraid that is not gonna happen....
At the end of episode 5 we see that rogue is holding remy dead body and Madeline in the other is probably dead but she also could somehow be alive just like magneto was
They really didn't know what to do with this character. Beside the obvious "wtf are you talking about? It's not Xavier's fault in the slightest and he sees you all as people" how is it possible that Trask's blow was able to knock Rogue down for an entire episode but not guys like Morph?
Rogue was taken by surprise from behind, at a moment when she was completely psychologically destabilized, she was apparently hit squarely in the head, by a blow that destroyed a building, I didn't see any of the other X-men receive an attack on that scale or those conditions, and these episodes take place in a very short period of time, I don't think it was even 24 hours, and Trask seemed to be slightly stronger than the other primes that were presented
you mean when she was calling gambit a good man Her man the same person she wasn't in a relationship in but yet is her man that time , can't make this stuff up lol writers really destroyed this character and her and Gambit Chemistry
Hmm...where is she blaming them? She doesn't say anything to Nightcrawler. And to Xavier she is just saying that (to her) Xavier sees them as one dimensional, as he says that Gambit was running from all his past, but she actually sees that he left somethings behind, but carried others, being more complex.
I can see why Xavier could be to blame but Nightcrawler was unconscious the entire time and I’m pretty sure he tried to save you and gambit from one of the sentinel blast
Say it with me, now. "From the streets did she emerge, to the streets she will return. So be not weary when she must return from whence she came." Amen
Rogue is dealing with a lot of grief and guilt. She loved Remy, but she also rejected him in their last conversation. She never got a chance to make things right, and that has to be a heavy burden. We always like to think we have more time.
And to add Erik highly likely got in her head in the beginning. Just like he did when she was a teen. (sorry don't buy the show runners explanation) Because that's what men like him do. And she likely blames herself more so then Xavier. I've always figured that she was considering him. Think about it. It would be a horrible life for Remy to never be able to touch her and her never being able to touch him. Rogue knows this pain and loneliness all too well and doesn't want that for Remy. And as you can see I hate the Erik/Rogue story lines for all they represent.
Storm is not better just because Rogue is a bitch. Storm is better because she is an absolute GODDESS!! she wipes out massive amounts of sentinels with ease and can literally pierce the earth's atmosphere and go into outer space just cause she feels like it. Like, damn!

“Just because someone stumbles and loses their way, doesn’t mean they are lost forever. Sometimes, we all need a little help” -Professor Charles Xavier Rouge will come out of whatever grief she is feeling

Rogue is by far the worst person. Gave Gambit some of his worst final moments, then acts all sympathetic over his death after she cheated on him with Magneto, infront of EVERYONE, by the way. Then blames Charles for not caring when its the opposite, its why he left his lover, cause he cared for his X-Men. Charles said it best "dispite the power of words, nothing spoken can heal this pain", something Rogue needs to learn herself.
She is grieving, but she is also trash. She cheated on gambit with magneto and broke gambits's heart but he still saved her so ya she is garbage to blame the people who saved her from the brotherhood of evil mutants
You know what would have worked ? No love triangles. Hell, I would bet Remy's death would be even sadder if they were a couple like they ended up in the old show. I mean, Magneto wasn't even interested in the X-Men in the old show nor did he have anything to do with Rogue ! Plus OGshow Rogue was never the most discrete person about her past. Had she seen Mags, she would have blatantly reacted and the others would've guessed. But no. So we get a shitty retcon instead...
The Death of Gambit was very well crafted, the best episode without a doubt, but it's understandable if you don't like it, Rogue didn't "betray" anyone, Magneto's relationship with Rogue is something adapted directly from the comics, it really seems unnecessary but if If you have the slightest bit of intelligence you will watch and understand the message that is conveyed
You sound like you already watched the show, then say “and that’s why i refuse to watch it.” Rogue’s wrong and the writers know it, she’s currently trying to beat up the xmen, if she succeeds she’ll have stopped them from saving the planet. The show’s solid, you oughta give it a non-youtube-clips-and-looking-at-the-comments chance.
Wanna blame someone rogue? Blame sinister, trask, and their evil bullshit. I get ur grieving but southern bell, you gotta realize that this ain’t on ur fam. It’s on them that started the rampage on Genosha and Gambit’s demise

@@striderreborn1467 that’s what I mean, all they’ve done is copy and paste from the comics, nothing original, so why watch the cartoon when you can just read the comics to find out what happens, what was great about the original is that they kept you guessing, kept you wanting more, it’s easy to make a series that kills off characters, has mature content, have the characters swear all the time, and just uses the same storylines over and over again, what people want is original material, after all what’s the point of watching if you already know what’s going to happen, that’s how they’re running the series into the ground rather than coming up with something knew there just reusing the same material over and over again, no one wants to see characters killed off, no one cares to see mature content, no one cares to hear swear words, no one wants to see and here the same thing over and over again because they get tired and bored of the same thing over and over again. @@striderreborn1467 you really overlook my whole point, my point had nothing to do with whether anyone has read the comics or not, my point is that the same story line has already been used over and over again, just who didn’t already see that coming when cable had already been well established long ago, and my final point is if you keep using the same storyline over and over again regardless of a few changes or even if they have already seen the source material eventually people are going to get tired of it and stop watching altogether, they need to start coming up with fresh new ideas or completely knew characters in order to revitalize the industry rather than just reusing the same material over and over again.

She's only half-wrong. Nightcrawler is innocent, but how many mutant lives could have been saved if Charles hadn't been so obsessed with courting humanity's approval rather than supporting his own people?
Conversely, how many humans would have been less fearful and distrusting if Magneto hadn't been constantly giving mutant-kind a bad name in the original series? It is a two-way street. Xavier tries to build bridges and even was shown by the earlier episodes having milestone successes like showing humanity that Beast (when he was on trial) is a gentle and eloquent person who did change minds along with changing the mind of President Kelly to turn him into an ally. It's not like Professor Xavier is always just dreaming rather than doing tangible things. I get where Magneto is coming from but he does absurd antics then the whole of mutant-kind suffer for it.

Next Rogue saying to Storm “You were gone” baby yeah she was gone. She was gone to regain her powers, the ones she lost saving that same man you cheated on Remy with.
All Kurt was doing was just helping his Sister. He has a big heart full of Compassion for the people he loves.
Yeah. I mean what would his father Mystique and mother Destiny think?

Man this series is making hate Rogue, she is fine with letting Magneto come onto her and even considers becoming romantically involved with him while she is still with Gambit, and her excuse is because she can’t touch him. I don’t care how touch starved you are that is a shitty and selfish thing to do to a person. And now he has died and suddenly she is blaming everyone even though they are not at fault, I have a feeling she is just projecting her own self hatred onto everyone else. Rogue seriously needs to get called out for the horrible ways she’s treating everyone around her.
Facts yo
No kidding. It wasn’t even Charles’ fault he was sent off. He would have died if he didn’t go.
thats what i been saying it just seems out of character i feel like shes way more mature and self reliant than that
Remy says they were never official.
@@drew1080you gotta be a woman lol
I don’t hate Rogue. I don’t agree with her actions, but I can understand them.
She was there during the massacre. She watched Magneto “die”. She held Gambit’s dead body. She never got to tell him she ultimately chose him.
She’s grieving. She’s angry. She’s full of regret. Those emotions are influencing her decision making for the worst.
Yup
So what? All this is an excuse to make her a b@tch with her friends? Give me a break.

“Remy was the most Cajun man I ever met.”
Uh, cool, rogue
As a New Orleanean, I'd like to say, "Huh?" That was such a weird way to say it.
No hay cuerpo de Madeleine y por lo que se cree Madeleine pudo haber terminado vaporizada como Leech
At the end of episode 5 we see that rogue is holding remy dead body and Madeline in the other is probably dead but she also could somehow be alive just like magneto was
She didn’t blame Nightcrawler for Remys death
They really didn't know what to do with this character.
Beside the obvious "wtf are you talking about? It's not Xavier's fault in the slightest and he sees you all as people" how is it possible that Trask's blow was able to knock Rogue down for an entire episode but not guys like Morph?
I was thinking the same thing 😂
Rogue was taken by surprise from behind, at a moment when she was completely psychologically destabilized, she was apparently hit squarely in the head, by a blow that destroyed a building, I didn't see any of the other X-men receive an attack on that scale or those conditions, and these episodes take place in a very short period of time, I don't think it was even 24 hours, and Trask seemed to be slightly stronger than the other primes that were presented
@@BrunoNps morph did get blasted in the face, no big explosion tho

And to Xavier she is just saying that (to her) Xavier sees them as one dimensional, as he says that Gambit was running from all his past, but she actually sees that he left somethings behind, but carried others, being more complex.
I can see why Xavier could be to blame but Nightcrawler was unconscious the entire time and I’m pretty sure he tried to save you and gambit from one of the sentinel blast

So joining the man you rejected your love for is the answer really?
At least she got gramps

I feel like she was reacting out in anger cuz she was partially feeling guilty herself. Don’t know what kind of guilt it is. But is some kind of guilt.

Perhaps this is the writer intention to ruin her character by giving us this shit show
You know what would have worked ? No love triangles. Hell, I would bet Remy's death would be even sadder if they were a couple like they ended up in the old show. I mean, Magneto wasn't even interested in the X-Men in the old show nor did he have anything to do with Rogue ! Plus OGshow Rogue was never the most discrete person about her past. Had she seen Mags, she would have blatantly reacted and the others would've guessed. But no. So we get a shitty retcon instead...
The Death of Gambit was very well crafted, the best episode without a doubt, but it's understandable if you don't like it,
Rogue didn't "betray" anyone,
Magneto's relationship with Rogue is something adapted directly from the comics, it really seems unnecessary but if If you have the slightest bit of intelligence you will watch and understand the message that is conveyed
You sound like you already watched the show, then say “and that’s why i refuse to watch it.” Rogue’s wrong and the writers know it, she’s currently trying to beat up the xmen, if she succeeds she’ll have stopped them from saving the planet. *Hum... she never blames Nightcrawler. 😑 Not ONCE.*
The thing is Charles doesn't want a world War 3 with humans vs mutants he wants to live in peace but he knows its not easy
