@@Mattroid99 That does not mean it does not work, only that it maybe works less that in past against 1-5% of players, and it definitely certain qualities like stacking civ bonuses and being flexible.
It is large risk like all "all in" strategies.
Also as far as I know Hoang just did not play that much recently, that seems to be main change.

You should make a video about expanding your base. You could use reps and pause right as they are getting close and explain where you would put your TCs and why. I'd also love to see a walling video where you go over how you would be looking to wall on a few different maps.
Now I want to see Hera play Cuman 2tc feudal + tower rush every game untill he figures out the strategy's weak points
I agree, and am really interested to actually learn how to use it properly too. At 1300 elo I don't face problems against cumans going towers against me and conversely, I cant properly execute the tower rush part of the 2tc build 😅(I believe I am pretty good at the pure 2 tc boom approach and have won a lot of games with this).

Would love a video about top 5 advanced aoe game play principles, meaning for example why keeping your resource bank low is important, eapm being a limited and very important resource etc. Wonder if there are more I havent figured out yet (which took me quite long)
What about black forest magars villager sneak. The magars single villager can sneak into the other side while it can one hit wolfs and hide behind a tree till feudal age when it can rush the enemy with horses. Perfect because of the free melee upgrade and it gives the enemy a false sense of security.
I don't think it's realistically repeatable at all as a strategy. It's possible to get away with it at low levels but most people are going to have like 5-6 minutes to scout around and make sure there's no sneak vill. And if the opponent finds the vill it's suddenly the sneak player who is behind. I'll even consciously let players think they are sneaking into the back of my base unseen, then let them invest in useless buildings and scouts in the back of your base while you either wall them off or send a couple spears and then everything they invested in is a loss
@@JohnSmith-tk7nt it's definitely risky and I've only one with this method 3 times out of the many I tried it. But still less risky than a Persian douche
Hey Hera. Loving the videos! My idea might be pretty hard to research/make but what about the top 5 comebacks? Tournament matches that looked TOTALLY lost but somehow, the opponent turns it around for a win! Top 5 failed castles drops might be funny too. Plus Daut clickbait title
Hera I have a cheesy strat that I've been using with friends which is a Cuman* ram rush in feudal age in closed maps such as arena or black forest, where everyone is doing fast castle and therefore has no military to defend themselves. I use it in team games since it requires an ally with archers to protect your rams. But it usually obliterates a player right from the early game, making the rest of the game easy for your team (you stay longer in feudal but that's no problem since you have 2 TCs). I'd love to see a pro optimize it
8:32 easy way i counter cumens as saracens is 19-20 pop +3 in pop feudal castle age into second tc. Only reason it works is becauss cuments feudal tc takes an eternity to build 👍
One thing about the Persian douche is that it also denies a part of the base. If the new Persian TC is placed near the berries, then those berries are effectively inaccessible. If near a lumber camp, then the defender needs a new lumber camp (which is a lot of wood at that part of the game). Same with farms, gold mines, and stone mines. And the Persian player still has full access to the resources that were in their own base. The Persian douche has a heavy cost, but also imposes a heavy cost on the defender (a bit later, but not really at a time of the defending player's choice, so the defender is more likely to have "idle" TC time). Walking time to move between bases provides an advantage for the defender, but the ability to cheaply deny resources (by TCs, palisades, or outright collecting them) provides an advantage for the Persian aggressors.

Turks fast imp on Arena is soooo hard to counter… I would tell it’s maybe ok in 1v1 coz no pocket and longer distance between opponents.
But in team game it’s so OP. Especially when Turks pockets is playing good.
I always have a slow pocket telling me to hold till i save 3 villagers from the back door…
Turk CD is way more dangerous than fi hc bbc. In tg (3vs3, 4vs4) short distance allows to punish fi with trush, CD , smush with good timing etc. Even 3tc boom kts is enough to stop hc bbc( if turks not under sling). Turks fi could work in some scenarios ( like with cumans pocket), but in general its not a good strat . Also obvious for opponents what is coming, according to late up times.

Before the Organ nerf (basically when it countered literally everything besides redemption monks) it was possible to do a clean 22+1 build. Literally nothing could stop it if played correctly.
Even on maps like arena if they took map control with scouts you just made the first castle defensive and started production to regain control while making the second on their face. After you made them panic then you'd just go imp and drop feitorias to close it out.
It was by far the most OP I've seen a civ in DE. No matter what unit they tried, organs would win after you had 2-3 of them. The only counter being having to beat you to castle (near impossible unless Khmer or maybe Saracens) and somehow having ~1k+ res to invest straight away.
It worked on most maps too which is quite sad (yes, even arabia in the mid elo) - it got me 500 ish elo to a peak of 1791 because it got nerfed. It was so braindead after 2 or so games of learning the really specific dark and feudal (build was quite tight and relied on wood from berries)
Bohemians have a similar strat available to them now with wagons, except mangos trade far better with them and the uptime is no where near as fast, but still can easily result in a game state where there is nothing you can do and you're completely helpless.
How a fast castle into unique unit is cheesy ? You may find some inspiration by looking a bit more in Pooplord channel

From principle counter to 2 TC seems to be 1 TC feudal push, as it is kind of boom and counter to boom is usually aggression, but dunno if that works in Cuman case.

Suggestion: Howabout an updated tier list series where you rank Civs based on who has the best cav archer/ Archer-line/ militia-line/ skirmishers/ knights/ camels/ scout line/ hand cannons/ spears/ monks/ siege/ elephants etc. There's some really old ones for certain unit types, but none that have all the civs and recent balance/ tech changes taken into account.

I dunno, I think Mihai's series against Heartt where he shrewdly secured his lumberjacks and fishing ships against feudal military shows that there are contexts where Persian douche isn't a losing strategy, but actually very strong in its own right.
How about laming the opponent's boar, walling in the berries and walling in the back gold and stone?

Seige tower on arena, fc then pop over with 5 archers or ma. Works at the lower elo but not sure about mid elo and above
Hera needs some clown updates, the Portugese FC UU has been long updated to 21/22+1+loom depending on 3 or 4 deer spawns

Fimp turks doesnt work against poles, they can mass enough knights out even going 28+2+2 to stop any sort of HC aggression you do. Can even send you a rec with near perfect eco (3 sec idle tc) and a clean build with 2 ranges making HC as soon as imp hits.
You're right in the fact that it does destroy the 3 TC builds, but it def doesn't break 1 TC poles.
There was nothing to scout that gave away what I was doing in this particular match, so I'm guessing my opponent knew the build via the extremely late feudal uptime or just figured this video dropped so he'd encounter it.

Well, then maybe you are just really bad at microing army. I mean, let's assume you generally play like a 1,1k, but you micro like a 700 elo beginner - Then you will end up winning with strats that are horrible, simply because you avoided falling to your biggest weakness. At 1000 elo, a bad strat with good execution will always win against a good strat with bad execution. But it will stop working at higher elo where people no longer execute their (superior) strats poorly.

@@WiscoDrinks Up to a certain point - each strategy has a cap. This means, no matter how well you execute it, if the strat isn't that good, you will not get any higher from a certain point. Imagine your only strategy is playing lithuanians, researching hill forts and then killing your opponent with TCs. You will be hardstuck at about 1k-1,1k even if you pull it off perfectly - because the strategy simply sucks. If your strategy is a bit less stupid, like this one, you will get hardstuck a bit higher, but you will. If you want to be a low elo legend, you can do this forever. But everyone who wants to improve their elo should start practising decent strategies.
When do this strategy it's not necessarily the end-all-be-all, you transition into knights, Siege, ect...
But generally speaking when I do this build just throw down a few towers around the enemy's main resources I end up getting a good lead on them. Its hard for most players to respond becuase you can produce from them

Also another idea: a video for those who aren't looking to climb ladders and learn build orders but still want to become better at the game 😂 (sounds like someone who wants to be strong without working out). Yeah.. like, could that be possible? How to get better at the game but without learning buildorders etc, what are the main things to keep in mind to play good. (Maybe for example knowledge in counterunits, keeping up pop late game, etc.)
There's an interactive build order application In the game. It's not perfect, but once you can start to get a good fast Castle timing under 19 minutes, then I feel like you have more freedom to learn other strats
You don't need to know 12 different build orders, just like one for nights, one for archers, and one for water, ideally. Im still not able to regularly fast Castle under 19 minutes

tbh, I think the Persian douche is almost better with teutons - your TC shoots more arrows, so it still doesnt make sense to fight back, and you can kill the opponents TC faster

I'd like to share my Cheese Strategy!
Ingredients:
- Fresh cow's milk (unpasteurized if possible)
- Cheese cultures (specific to the type of cheese you're making)
- Rennet (animal or vegetable)
- Non-iodized salt
- Optional: Herbs, spices, or other flavorings
Equipment:
- Large stainless steel pot
- Cheese thermometer
- Cheese mold or press
- Cheese cloth
- Long knife or curd cutter
- pH meter (optional)
Steps:
1. Sanitize Equipment
- Ensure all equipment is thoroughly cleaned and sanitized.
2. Heat the Milk
- Pour the milk into the pot and heat it slowly to the target temperature (usually around 30-32°C), stirring occasionally.
3. Add Cultures
- Sprinkle the cheese cultures over the milk and let them rehydrate for a minute before stirring them in.
4. Coagulation

You would not beat me with a turk FI on arena. It is a really easy strat to shut down. It used to be a strong strat but most 2k1+ players would stop this.
Your comment about banning Cumans every game has me curious. If you have the first pick, why leave Cumans open? If the cheese is that hard to stop, wouldn't you want to be the one using it?

I would consider tower rush cheesy ... pro use it as an actual strategy but in my elo people just run around putting houndreds of towers everywhere with no hope for castle age ever 😂 so i guess pros see it differently from noobs
