Jim I’m always impressed by how much gold and silver you find. This morning was my day as well and I just couldn’t believe I found 4 14k earrings. A 14k kids bracelet. A 10k promise ring with 2 tiny diamonds and for the icing on the cake a 1945P silver war nickel. I’ve never found 6 pieces of gold jewelry in 3 different tot lot playgrounds before so I was quite amazed. All in about 3 hours of hunting.
Nice silver necklace and gold ring with diamonds wooohooo 🥳 you did a fantastic job hunting! Have a wonderful week and tell Haley I can’t wait until she is all better 🤗🤗🤗 3 super hugs for Haley ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💜
She is walking so well with the splints on both legs she forgets she is injured, I took her out yesterday for a long car ride and a couple of parks so she could get that normal dog feeling back. Thank You 👍
I have been catching up on your videos this weekend. Start chemo again next next . I will get out on a beach to hunt for even a pull tab. LOL I do have a question though. Why are nickels so hard and scarce to find?
Good luck on the chemo, I know you are a fighter so please keep fighting and I will always be in your corner. When you are ready come and join me on the beach for some fun. Nickels are tricky, I think mostly it is the least lost coin but a deep nickel is hard to detect even harder than a deep dime. The lower conductive nature like gold make it hard to hear when it is deep.
Another good haul there Jim. Last time I had a jolly rancher it broke my gold crown tooth off that’s the only time gold ever cost me $1500 for the repair😂😂 thanks for sharing.
It certainly did, but in the past few years almost every chain of that size I find has been costume even though it looks real and it is heavy like gold would be. Thank You 👍
I hope you do too! There was a record amount of trash removed from just Huntington State Beach on the 4th it made all the local news channels. People even left full size brand new weber grills with propane on the beach. It has always been bad but this years was really bad.
My father received his first detector through the military in 1976 but then he made own. My first machine that I purchased was a White P.I. 1000, it clicked like a geiger counter but it was Whites first water diving machine and perfect for the wet sand.
@@funwithjim I never considered the military side possibilities, and I was in the Corps lol. I guessed White or Garrett because 40 years ago when I was 16 I had a place I could rent detectors from and those were really the only choices. I usually chose this Garrett that was a beast, it was powered by 10 or 12 D-cell batteries and was so heavy you got a workout carrying the thing around! I was young and had plenty of stamina back then though. Carrying that thing around in hot humid S. Missouri summers would be impossible for me now!
I have seen a guy with a UA-cam channel that makes really fancy tungsten rings with really pretty inlays like that. Not sure what his channel is called
Hi how are u I like your work bro I love to do this kind of work it's enjoying and intrusting but I don't have metal detector because of that I am feeling bad for me because I have to much places like this
39 years of metal detecting, there is a reason why this hobby exists. Everyone knows you shouldn't wear nice things on the beach but they still do, even add jewelry because going to the beach is a fashion statement. Either way, I never sell my gold and save it for either return or retirement. Thank You 👍
I did well this post 4th of July here in Central Texas watched the F-works, because there was soooo many people at the event I went back on the 6th and hunted the area I managed a really nice mans size 14kt ID bracelet in great shape 18.2 grams and a large Silver pendent both where a couple of inch`s in the park soil.
Now I know why you need a bigger ultrasonic cleaner - not enough space for all the gold & silver you're finding. Congratulations on another massively productive hunt.
Did you ever belong to a club?? Do you ever worry about late at night or morning getting approached by strange people??I know slot of people go out alone, I just could never do that
I would join the West Coast Treasure club but I have Grandpa duties on the evenings they have their meetings but I do like to go when I get a chance. I always stay vigilant while detecting really early or late at night. Every great once and a while there are jerks on the beach that I wish I would have avoided. Nothing that my beach scoop couldn't fix though, Lol!
Great video Jim. Love this one so much! Big congrats on the gold and silver and taco money!! ❤👍😁
Thanks so much!!
Ah yah?
Corn seeds really wow you never know what you will find!!!!! Thanks for sharing!!!!
Thank You 👍
Great stuff you pickup. Specially the delicious jolly ranchers. ❤️ keep it up.
Wow on the time on the beach. Know wonder you have so much luck. I told Mike to hound dog you.
Thank you 🤙 Lol!

Hello. Beautiful hunting! What did you make the sieve stick out of?
CKGscoops.com Titanium scoop with Carbon Fiber Handles and the CKG pull handle.
What's the size of this tube? Thank you in advance for your help!
Another great video Jim
Thank You 👍
Great hunting day there! Happy 4th Jim!
Thank You 👍
Sweet haul!
Thank You 👍
I’m new to metal detecting, what equipment do you use and what do you suggest for someone just starting out?
I use the Minelab Equinox, all of them are great on the beach. For a newbie I would suggest either a Minelab Equinox 600 or the xterra pro.
Another good haul there Jim. Last time I had a jolly rancher it broke my gold crown tooth off that’s the only time gold ever cost me $1500 for the repair😂😂 thanks for sharing.
🤣😂 ouch! Thank You 👍
Now I know where the jewellery came from that you cleaned with the ultrasonic cleaner
great job
Thank You 👍
I noticed that right off the bat also!
Hi, new here. do you sell this stuff? just wondering what you do with it all
No, rarely do I sell my precious metals. They get saved for either return or my retirement. Thank You 👍
WOW. That a lot of great stuff Jim. Congratulations
Thank You 👍
My Dad had a wedding ring like the gold heavy ribbon style one that you found. I know it's not his, but I'm surprised to see one that looks like it.
Thank You 👍
Jim, that ring you dug with the blue center inlay between two brown looks just like the ring I'm wearing right now. Mine came from Maui.
Thank You 👍
What was the shovel with holes in it?
CKG beach scoop, Thank You 👍
Lucky as always Jim! Will be hitting the beach tomorrow. The one I found platinum on last year. Keep swinging Jim😊
Good luck! Thank You 👍
nice one, I bet that chain had your heart pumpig.
It certainly did, but in the past few years almost every chain of that size I find has been costume even though it looks real and it is heavy like gold would be. Thank You 👍
Cool video🎉
Thanks 😁
Man I can't believe how much litter people leave. Ridiculous! Great job on the finds. I hope I one day have half of your success!

Ikr? The next day someone's husband, housemate or family member hears her screaming in the shower "My RING! OMG I lost it!!!"
Wow that beach area with the dry sand is about 5 times bigger than Myrtle beach!!! Crazy how big those beaches are
Thank You 👍
Wow what an awesome amazing hunt
Thank You 👍
It's been a while, and you're still killing it. Keep up the great work, HH&GL 👊💥
Thank You 👍
I believe thats Huntington Beach, I grew up there
Yes, Huntington Beach! Thank You 👍
I knew it 😀. First I thought Newport, then I looked closer. Its been a long time too. Now I live in WA state
39 Years is a good bit of experience detecting beaches. What was your first detector, a White or a Garret likely?

Corn seeds blew me away. Lol
Corn seeds puzzled me too! I wonder if it was just in their gear that they brought to the beach.
Nice findings !
Thank You 👍
Great hunt Jim, you're an inspiration
Thanks 👍
What detector is that
Minelab Equinox 900 but any of the Equinoxes are awesome on the beach.
@@funwithjim cheers Jim, always enjoy your videos 👍
what scoop model??
CKG Titanium scoop with CKG carbon fiber shaft and ckg pull handle.
@@funwithjim thank you so much..^^

I am Korean..
Looking good..^^
Jim how do you put in so many hours...I can do 2-3 hours at best...what energy drink do you use?!
I often detect for 6 hours then play golf walking for another 5 hours, though the dry sand walking this summer is taking a toll!
@@funwithjim Good Lord! I need to get that active! Yes, the dry sand takes out my legs quick!
Let us know how much that ring was! That was a good find…
Thank You 👍
(JOLLY RANCHERS???) 🤷 Napier is nice costume jewelry, pretty well made and will last if you take care of it. Interesting and fun to watch though.

Hi Johnny, it is always good to see you out there. Thank You 👍

Do you resell any of for find which you have found?
They Gold is one of the best investmentsv today!!!!!
No I do not sell my precious metals, I place in safety deposit boxes for either return or retirement.
👍👍👍😁
Thank You 👍
Jim I’d love to know what footwear you use?
I use Seekway beach shoes mostly with socks!
Very nice hunt 👍
Thank You 👍
I lost my mothers engagement ring at HB Main beach about 40 yrs ago. I could have used a metal sector then, we never found it.
Maybe Jim will find it and you'll see it.
What a happy 5th of July! Too bad that chain is t real gold. Shoot that might have been a house payment! 😂
Thank you 🤙

Its pronounced " Nape E Aire".

Woohoo
I would strongly suggest that you don't consume the candy that you found on the beach. You don't know that it's not laced with fentanyl.
Thank You 👍
Stay off my beach dude 😡
Who's beach, RICHARD! It certainly isn't yours and it never will be!
I have a Miami Cuban ring just like that 14 karat gold weighs 38 g and half diamonds on it. Good fine.
Thank You 👍
