great helpful info, I've been looking to add my FL SR to my sonic pad but didn't know how. At the moment the sonic pad is link to my Ender 3S1 Pro and it's been running awesome. Thank you for sharing your discovery. Hi -Fi ! FYI Beagle Camera is an awesome cam to link with FL Sun to control the printer remotely.
Hello Rolohaun, Can you make a video step by step? I already installed the sonic pad but when I turn it off it doesn't reconnect, can you help me please. thanks
I have had problems with tolerance and wierd sounds and wierd sounds when printing infill(sounds like its hitting the infill?) do u have the same problems!
I tried to install klipper on my SR last night but I couldn't. I was following instructions for a v400... maybe because of that.... I also have the CHC but I dont know how to calibrate that hot end in the printer.cfg
Finally a video of Sonic Pad on Flsun---- :-) I have the pad and a Q5. Now both Q5 and SR are supported by default. I want to ask you how did you calibrate the dish since it is round, and the hotend, and above all how you use and position the probe to calibrate the input shaper since we practically have 3 Z axes If you can make a video even better. Thank you
a delta printer still has X and Y, just mount the probe so it is facing forwarded and measure resonances like normal. The delta will still move in X test then move in Y like normal, nothing special needed. I would recommend you get a nozzle mounted USB accelerometer to get accurate results
Small mgn style rails like the ones that FL Sun is using should not be using grease, that's only for bigger blocks used on CNCs. Obviously they're overdoing it with the oil, it should be 3-1 sewing machine oil, that's the official recommendation from Hiwin.
can you send me please your printer.cfg ? all the github projects the priinter, cfgs dont work i get always out of range error but i did make the delta calibrations and still its not working i try since 3 days so please can someone give me a working Flsun SR printer.cfg >? the PID and calibrations i can do on my own i just need 1 config which works
I print PLA at 215 and PETG at 250. I'm glad you confirmed my suspicions that the SR likes to run a bit hotter.
I have done 16 min benchies at 195 PLA on garbage hotends so I need to see what my new CHC Pro will do
@@Rolohaun yeah I'm looking forward to your results! I'm running a CHT style volcano nozzle, but the heater is underpowered for that for sure.

Sorry which part are you having trouble with? Did you put your USB ID in the config file?
@@Rolohaun No how do I do it? can you help me please? Thanks
got it working Thanks, just got the USB ID. did you do the resonance test? it says out of range. Thanks
@@igorcarballal98I'm having the same issue. How did you resolve it? I tried to add the port ID and still doesn't work for me.
this was exactly what i've been looking for. I'm considering getting the flsun sr. does it run better with the sonic pad?
Klipper is a nice improvement, however I would get the pad 7 or fl sun speeder pad
Just bot a used SR. Any improvement in speed & quality to match v400? Would love to see your future videos of your klipper SR. Thanks for sharing ❤
I sold my SR after part 2, the printer worked very well after the final upgrades. FLsun is now sending my a v400 so I am curious to compare it.
does ur nozzle keep dripping filament when its heated?
It can ooze a bit, seems to be a issue of the old style volcano hotend this uses
I have had problems with tolerance and wierd sounds and wierd sounds when printing infill(sounds like its hitting the infill?) do u have the same problems!
Mine is working well, tolerance is usually down to flow in your slicer I run PLA at 97 percent flow and ABS at 94 depends on the filament

this is a good guide 3dprintbeginner.com/klipper-on-flsun-super-racer/
how did you level the bed
the bed is leveled using the FLsun nozzle probe

The SR is supported by default? i only see the Q5 on the Flsun part
nevermind, i already saw the option, thats great, i have 2 SR and a ender 3 S1, time to get serious
@@bxkxhxkg82 Well. Maybe you can tell me how to position the probe to calibrate the input shaper not having X and Y
Thank you
@@Giorgio_Venturini in printables i found a shaper mount to the sensor, i'm going to print it and try it out c:

I have not had any issues greasing MGN9 or 12 linear rails

I just used the official FL Sun config for the speeder pad, worked perfect nothing else needed flsun3d.com/pages/speeder-pad
Mine refuses to continue after a filament change gcode mod. Any ideas on what I can do to stop this wasteful nonsense?
I use the stock Klipper filament change gcode, I have not messed with mine.
Were those bed clamps standard on the Super Racer? mine are different and already completely bent.
yes they came stock
why screw over our flsun with crealty
I don't have the FLSUN speeder pad, not a huge fan of the sonic pad but it is functional
speed !!
